I sometimes come to Toronto Public library - Weston Branch located at 2 King street, to check some topics and browse the internet.
The Staff are friendly.
I like to mention Eli, the young staff who helped me twice in my search and that I DO appreciate his help

I loved it and so did my 8 year old daughter. Besides, I can print documents for a minimum of money and the scanner is free.

Had a meeting here. The library staff was super pleasant in letting us use the space and even gave us extra time past what we had booked for. I have to give praise to TPL for allowing nonprofit groups to organize and hold meetings in their facilities. Thank you so much!:)

This library has no AC or proper ventilation so it can become very hot inside in the summer. They have loud fans going on and it’s distraction to do any work or study. One positive is this library has the children’s area is in the basement so there no kids running around in adult area.

Update Nov 2022: This library is really need of a major renovation. It feels very cluttered
and claustrophobic. They put fiction and non-fiction in part of library with tall bookshelves. The other part is closed to youth programs. The armchairs used be in the quiet part of the library now it’s front of the computers and the front desk can get very loud & busy with people. A much better library is down the street is Mount Dennis at Weston&Eglintion. I hope the Weston library gets some attention from TPL soon.

Recently, I went into this beautiful local library which isn't in my home area because I wanted to find out history about the former Town of Weston and the impact of Hurricane Hazel in the town in 1954 for a project I was working on.

Well, the main librarian was so friendly, helpful and accommodating to me. She found books for me to take out. They also have some historical reference books but I didn't have the time to sit and read them in the library on that day. Other staff members helped, too, including moving dividers away so that I could take photos of the beautiful stained glass windows. This is a very historic library. I absolutely love the British-style stonework fence surrounding the front and side of the library which is also a part of Weston's history. So quaint!

There is a huge area in the basement filled with children's books, an area where they've held activities for children from what I understand.

Sure, the library is small compared to some other libraries in Toronto. But, the expertise and helpfulness of the incredible staff members and the beautiful building more than makes up for the library's physical size. It just feels good to be in there, a really nice atmosphere. Of course, I will return there again when I'm in the area.

I used to go this library for studying & reading books before Covid-19. But, right now, I’m not recommending it to you anymore because it is too noisy right now and there are a lot of illiterate and some homeless adult people who don’t care others.

I love this library. It's so quaint and the people there are so nice. It's like a little home away from home.

PROS -
Free parking, buildings got an old time charm, day care is in the basement away from study area
Had security patrolling
CONS -
No drinking water!
Noisy: Located right next to a school so kids hang out here after school hours.
Staff seems pretty loud themselves. Heard one lady give printing instructions across the hallway disregarding people reading all around her.

Nice, friendly and helpful staff working there. They also have movie-screenings in the community room.

Large neighborhood branch brick building. Friendly staff and lots of study space, with a row of tables equipped with chargers.
