I'm surprised with the comments about fast wifi. I've found it to be one of the slowest among the TPL branches I've been to. This branch is very small, not many places to sit available. Washroom access is not super easy here. Otherwise, a regular TPL with great service and many options of things to do/read

On a rainy day, i thought about going down to Toronto Public Library at 145 Annette Street for quiet reading, some secured websites browsing.

We went there to vote today. First time there. The volunteers where very polite and it was over relatively quick in the evening. Morning it was a long long line so we left. 6p.m. Was the right time.

Lots of great programs and tons of reading and audible/visual materials waiting to be borrowed

Holds were easy to find. Kids books, thoughtfully arranged to get my son's attention and helpful staff checked on getting him in the summer reading club. Glad it's my home branch.

Denied the ability to make a card although on website it states you need to go into location to get a card.

Great selection of books. Found a good amount of popular manga titles (with more than one volume if you're looking to kill time and get into the series). Nice and quiet space.

This is a mid-size library. The unique thing about this library are the two lecture rooms in the basement. There is also a large selection of audio books.

There is a wheelchair ramp to the entrance of the library but then there are stairs going farther up to the main floor and down to the basement. There is a small elevator.

The children's section occupies about one third of the library. There are typical sections of computers, magazines, DVDs, etc.

Neighborhood branch in a building permeated by local history. Study tables but no chargers.
