It can get noisy when the toddlers are visiting, but there are usually a lot of spots to sit and charge devices while getting a bit of work done. Bright and clean branch.

Absolutely lovely staff, lovely place. Attended queer trivia night here, and had so much fun! If you’re a teen/young adult, please please please look more into attending all the fun events that TPL hosts! You’ll meet so many nice people, like I have.

Looks like a quaint old building from outside, modern practical and elegant architecture inside. This library has lots of natural light in the reading areas on the upper floor. The childrens' area downstairs has several book shelves, a reading area with round tables and chairs and a small play area too.

The Gladstone Library is a legendary library in downtown Toronto on Bloor Steet West by Dufferin Street. The original architecture is late-19th Century and recent expansions with rich, dark wood and modern lighting and divisions of space make it an ideal space for studying, browsing and relaxing from the heat.
