Toronto Public Library - Scarborough Civic Centre Branch

The exterior of the building is very designer. This is the only good thing about it. But the interior space, book collection, computer equipment etc.are very little. The book return point is also very old. It's not a good library.

They have the rudest staff I’ve ever seen in all TPLs. I was merely taking a photo at the entrance to show my friends what the lib looks like. One lady of East Asian ethnicity stopped me and asked my to delete the photo per TPL policy. Ridiculous!

Nice and easy to access from around.
I spent my 2hours of waiting time for Mega bus, without any intaruption. Found some magazine & comfortable areas to seat.
Didn't explore the hole area.

As an avid reader, I appreciate the wide range of genres and authors available, and I always leave with a few new titles to explore. I am also impressed by the many programs and events that you offer, which provide valuable opportunities for learning and enrichment.

One of the best place to read books and DVDs to carry home. Well maintained library. You can get print out in 15 cents. This library also has 3 D printer. You can also access to internet. You can get library membership by showing address proof and ID card. It's just take few minutes. Library staff is very cooperative. Outside of this library there is stop for Flix/Megabus.

The morning time is good. The library’s ambience is fresh however it all depends on the crowd being present. As it is close to the Scarborough Centre Station, it is fairly accessible. The real estate can be a challenge for heavy rush of the afternoon.
I think they may want to utilize the space better and create more room for adults. I think a double storey building would be nice to have or a direct bus connection to Agincourt library if this library is full and Agincourt library still has seats vacant.

Love this brand, people is really attentive, its always quiet, clean has a good stock of books.

Giving it one star because a lot of parents and their kids here don't understand the difference between a daycare playground and a library. The staff does nothing about those people. Patrons are trying to read, study, and get some real work done here.

Kids are screaming, running around, making noise, you'd think this was a playground and daycare. Library staff need to do something about the noise and parents need to tell their kids to get their act together.

Great place to study and work but the staffs are really rude. I was kindly asking a question since it’s my first time here but they just responded with a rude and inconsiderate attitude.

Many books of various varieties are available and the service they provide are quick, which means no longer waiting in queue for the whole damn day. The environment is clean (obviously) and staff's friendly, appreciate it so far
