Toronto Public Library - Locke Branch

I love this local library branch. It is small but caters on the one side for kids. It has a lovely nook to read with your little one. Then, if you’re an adult, you can just go to the other side and get some quiet time!

Well-lit, quiet library next to a park and subway station with large wooden tables with power strips as chargers. Just an issue of a guy who comes with hand warts, so I'd be careful of what you touch there.

Washrooms available right inside front door. There is a small parking lot for library patrons. And some street parking on Lawrence when not in rush hour

I liked this library, good for studying or just spending time like me, take a few hours off work and take a break there sometimes, the bad thing is reading with lots of people talking nearby but a tip I give look for a schedule that has fewer people like this, you will be able to have a good reading, because when it is crowded it is even difficult to control the staff and thus avoid listening to the staff's scraps! ‍️

Nice building, conveniently located next to subway and starbucks. Its not huge but serves the purpose. Well organized, staff is extremely helpful. They have printer and scanner at this location.

Lots of amenities for a local branch. Nice stone building next to a park with a cozy interior. Has implemented an improvised but elegant solution for providing sufficient chargers with power strips on tables.

The programs do not vary that much esp for the kids compared to other libraries, but the location and staff are nice.

Fun family vibe, only slight problem is that the selection is small, however, you can request a book to come to the library.
