I come here to study and always manage to sit near people who end up talking. Can never find a place where it is quiet! The security guard just walks around and says nothing - like it is normal to be speaking out aloud in the library.

When compared to the Oakville library I go to weekly, this library is noisy. It's not a good place to focus or concentrate. I have observed library users: having loud cellphone conversations, watching movies without headphones, frequent loud notification sounds, crinkling potato chip bags, eating loud crunchy food, playing videogames with a loud and very incessantly clicky gaming mouse, singing with headphones on. Laughing and giggling. None of these people have books with them.

To be fair, the Oakville library has similar dynamics, but they have solved the noisy people problem by having a room designated for quiet work.

Libraries (not the librarians) just don't have respect for hard work anymore. I'm sure that eventually they'll stop supplying materials for hard work, and introduce group activities that push the boundaries of what a library is supposed to be. After all, this is becoming more of a community centre, and the users they're attracting don't seem to like hard focused work. It's so unfortunate.

This library is in my local area. I have been to community events and meetings here. They have great staff that are easy to talk to and they are very helpful. Their hold pick-up section is open now for self pick-up. I used the Express Checkout option when I was last there it was really easy to use and fast. They have 3 levels at this location. Downstairs has children's area along with a nice meeting area that has a kitchen area. There are 3 or 4 meeting rooms upstairs as well as a learning hub. Check on their website to see what activities they have coming up.

As always librarians are very helpful and polite when I have a question or a problem with one of the printers. Love spending time there.

I've been using this library since it opened. Back in the day when the recipe card, dooey decimal system was in use.
You'd find the book location yourself.
Books are amazing. They take you places.
Feels so much better to hold a book and turn it's pages, than modern tech does.
Like vinyl. Much better than anything else.
I miss the upstairs art gallery. That was a special treat, when there was a showing

There is no quit place in this library specially second floor librarian talking about movies all day long and laugh very loud. You can not concentrate on your studies.

Better not come to this library

C'mon a library can't be a bad place. I love libraries, it's a must visit once a week, my 6yr old spends more than 1hr everytime he visits.

Staff are incredibly helpful, kind, and efficient. Tons of resources, including computer access, newspapers, audiobooks.everything! Lots of study areas upstairs, and the large basement is a kid's space. Been coming here my whole life and never had any problems. Bring a book-bag, you'll need it!

Annoying security guard always failing to enforce stupid policies that don't have any logical sense

I mostly go to library for my daughter's story books and it is insane.they have the complete basement dedicated to kids and teens.the staff is super nice (behavior) super knowledgeable (books) and they go out of the way to search for books to suit your interests.

They went above and beyond to help me print and email the pages. Note the library computers shut down by 7: 10pm automatically!
Also you can send your print to the library from home before the 7: 10PM library computer lockdown

I love this branch. They have a big area for kids books and the staff is very helpful. Before COVID19 they used to open on Sunday

Great place to study but be aware children can be loud and not realize it causing a distraction. They need some BE QUIET SIGNS in every corner of the library so people don't forget it is still a library.

Free wifi, but seats are limited when its crowded. Sometimes when there are computer classes on the top floor (1st floor) it is super loud. No one other than those in the class can concentrate.

I always find it clean and quite. It has reasonably long working hours, which matches my needs, and staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Incredible environment. Great furniture, plenty of space, and lots of natural light. Only downside is the lack washroom space

I love coming here to work on assignments and look forward to making the most of their Maker Space.

If you are lucky you may even catch a Bookmobile at rest.

The 3D printing facilities and studio are a great value add to people looking to create and stretch their artistic abilities.

Ian from digital innovation hub was very helpful and friendly. In case you didn't know, there are 3d printers here. There are also machines with Adobe creative cloud. There is a large format scanner, green screen, audio studio. Make sure to check this great public resource out!

I've been to all the libraries in the area and by far this is my favourite one to sit down with my laptop and get work done.
