I had a very good experience with the MedSleep group. Yes, like every specialist or medical test required in Ontario, it can take a few weeks or even months before an appointment is booked. However the team at Medsleep returned my calls and followed up accordingly. Shout out to Nony! I never had an issue getting someone on the phone to answer my questions or concerns. Everyone was patient and understanding, and friendly. Thank you MedSleep!

I exhibit many symptoms of sleep apnea, and my doctor originally sent a referral to this location to have a sleep study done on September 19th. I had read other negative reviews that mentioned long wait times, and so I was prepared to wait a number of weeks to be contacted.

We are now 3 months later and my doctor has followed up twice, and still no word from MedSleep Eglinton. I have personally followed up via e-mail and not heard back. I have taken to calling the location but only ever get the answering machine.

If someone were to contact me and explain for example that there are long wait times, even months, and gave me an estimate, I would patiently wait.

However, 3 months with not one word in response is incredibly poor, especially for a clinic t hat offers medical services. I am happy to re-visit my review if I am able to finally get a sleep study done.

Wow. I was hoping all these reviews were wrong. My son waited months for an appointment only to be ghosted when the interview came around. No follow up or excuses given. There is an old saying, " WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS YOU WHO THEY ARE THE FIRST TIME, BELIEVE THEM. Another one is that where there is smoke there is fire. Please do your own homework and try to find out why so many people give so many negative reviews. We are done.

The bed was comfortable, surroundings pleasant and staff were patient and helpful. It is a clinical setting and not a hotel, so there are a few discomforts;)

Major problems with administration, appointment confirmation. My family doctor faxed the referral to them 3 times, the first one over a month ago. Neither my family doctor nor I have received any communication from the clinic administrator, we are still waiting. Many years ago I visited the Appleton sleep clinic on Wilson Ave, where all the staff was professional and efficient and phone calls were always returned promptly.

Doctor was 15 mins late for appointment. Email from staff regarding appointment had a different person's name in the body. Doctor forgot to send prescription to staff after appointment had to follow up 2X and never got it. After 10 months I reached out again and they seemed surprise that I never received it. Hard to reach via phone.

I have to call 3 times everytime and email to get prescriptions sent. 4 times so far.of 5 appointments 3 i did not get a message of when.for the sleep in office they said 8, empty office.didn't even send any info on the appointment about when and where until the day of when i called them at lunch.was clean and quiet in the room and the guy here was nice.

Absolute joke of a clinic. The entire process to book a sleep test and get the results takes MONTHS and now I've been waiting over 2 weeks just to have referral and results sent to me and the ENT of my choice.

I've called over 10 times now and they just say 'yes yes we're sending it' and then nothing happens. I guess sending results by email is rocket science for these guys.

If you want to treat and cure your sleep problems, this is not the place. Avoid like the plague.

It was great to be diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnea and then have the clinic do absolutely nothing about it. Follow ups unanswered, no communication from the doctors. Avoid this clinic like insomnia.

This wasn't the worst place I've gone for a sleep study. In general, sleep clinics aren't great so keep your expectations low.

Free overnight parking was great. The rooms could use a decor update but they were clean, warm, and mostly comfortable. The night staff were very kind. The doctor was pretty matter-of-fact but these clinics are run like an assembly line so I didn't expect much else. However, the diagnosis and treatment I got was fantastic and has made a big difference. My symptoms have been dismissed by other sleep clinics so I was relieved to be taken seriously here.

Sleep study results were not thoroughly discussed with me. Dr Lucharnik said after one six week trial of a CPAP machine that I didn't " tolerate the machine" so end of trying it. My new sleep Dr said this was a dangerous decision to leave my sleep apnea untreated and explained all my Toronto Sleep Institutes lab results to me and told me how serious my condition is which they didn't at Toronto Sleep Institute. Spent three years unable to work, on disability as a result of Dr Lucharnik not treating my sleep apnea, in fact he refused to see me and was frustrated and dismissive when I came in two years after seeing him last with new sleep issues. My new sleep Dr explained that simply a different face mask and CPAP machine would work better for me and should've been tried earlier. Go elsewhere!

Had to share my experience as I had an encounter with clinic staff. Very professional and efficient. Spoke with a Guy (Not sure of his name) who waived his magic and was able to get my in -laws to see the doctor. Highly recommend. The are well trained and professional.

JUst can say one thing about MedSleep (Thornhill, Ontario), which it is the first important thing for the the kind of people around " Lack of respect and responsibility". Already I told them I will put my feedback for them that I am done. DO Not go there. I could post my feedback unless gave them a STAR.

Annoying.
I went there and there and nobody showed up!
I knocked on the door, the garage was closed and nobody answered the phone!

People complain in their reviews about the noise (cars/buses) and street lights from Eglinton -ask to be in one of the three back rooms without windows and away from the street. At night if you need to visit the washroom the technician comes right away and leads you there by flashlight to keep the darkness factor going. They ask your bedtime so if you go to bed later they will hook you up to the electrodes later as it takes about half an hour. The pillows were comfortable and the cotton sheets were clean and comfortable and even the bed was. The wires are not. Best to sleep on your back, side sleeping is tricky with all the small wires digging in. Do take bottled water - it is very dry there. Do take a morning shower to refresh yourself. It is a downfall that between 7 am and 9 am they do not answer the phones yet the night technicians leave at 7 am and the day one is there and so is the receptionist. I guess everyone is expected to own cell phones - I do not. The technician I had was calm, kind and professional.
