Town Care Walk-in Clinic

Brought my baby to see the doctor for eye infection. Doctor said it was caused by virus and would be healed on their own. In next 2 days my baby eyes got even worse. Brought my baby back to our paediatrician and received antibiotic eye drops. I could immediately tell my baby’s eyes improved in less 2 days. Will not come to this clinic again.

Everyone at the practice is super friendly and helpful. Specially Himanshu and Dr. Armel are so kind and gentle and explain every details to you and give the best suggestions.

I won’t recommend this place at all. I went there for throat infection and the doctor advised to drink ginger-lemon-honey tea, my infection got worse and now i saw another doctor she said my condition could have affected lungs. Thank god I consulted another doctor at right time.

This is by far the worst walk in clinic I've been to in the past 4 years. This place is very unorganized and unprofessional. Receptionist was over charging people with health cards and not charging people without a health card. Doctor is very rude to male patients and overly nice to female patients. Receptionist lost over 3 patients health cards. While trying to refund patients debit machine broke and owner had no idea how to fix it or compensate. This is the worst doctor office ever to exist. Employees are not trained or have been taught customer service. Appointments were severely delayed without any explanation. If you have gone to this clinic within the past week please go back and get a damn refund asap.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Took my new born son for circumcision on recommendations from several friends and family. Dr Al-Salam was very polite, caring, professional, explained the procedure, and answered any questions we had. He and his assisting doctor performed the procedure quite well. There was hardly any bleeding during and after the procedure. No swelling or any other issues. The recovery was great. He even saw us 2 days later in the walk-in without keeping us waiting. Despite the clinic being full of patients, he told us to come in any time of the day and he would see my new born right away as a follow up check. All-in-All great experience and I would recommend Dr. Al-Salam without any hesitations.

Very patient and knowledgeable. Walked us through steps of the procedure before and went through the after care. Best part was on time & did a fantastic procedure.

I’ve only ever had positive experiences coming here. All the doctors I’ve experienced are very friendly, knowledgeable, down to earth and kind. Faster waiting times in comparison to other clinics, yet you never feel rushed as if you are just another number. I choose to come here over my family physician at several instances. Even the front desk workers are amazing and extremely efficient. Thank you Dr. Salam and Dr. Waheed!

This clinic was my favourite at one point (a year ago) until possibly new staff, I am not sure but the wait times now are horrible. I came from Ellesmere health group clinic originally because their wait times were disgusting, (2-3 hours) with once available; Dr. Abunara or whatever would diagnose in 1 minute and dismiss without even paying attention. Now I’m sad to say this clinic as well exceeds hour wait times with the assistant saying it will only be 30 minutes. I came for something so small, just needed 5 mins and medicine but had to wait for patients who took hours inside. Also patients that came after me as first time patients were some how permitted to go prior. Not good. Won’t be coming back!

I visited the clinic with my son that had fever for the past few days. While going over the symptoms, I clearly mentioned that my son refuses to walk due to extreme pain in his legs/calves. The Dr prescribed some antibiotics. The following day the pain was more severe and I had to carry him because he did not want to walk. I ended up going to the ER. After getting him admitted, they took him off the antibiotics bc they were wrongfully prescribed, turns out he had acute viral myositis. Although pain is associated with fever; refusal to walk due to fever is not!
I get doctors are human and mistakes happen. But what really upsets me is that he did not even ask to explain what I meant by refusal to walk nor did he take a look at the area that was in pain after I clearly pointed it out. Please care to ask for details if the parent/care taker brings up a specific concern!

Dr Salam Ai-Attar is so good and professional doctor. I highly recommend this walk in clinic.

Went to go see Dr. Khan.

Really great doctor very personable and understanding. Referred me to a dermatologist on the spot with no hesitation to ensure my spot come Monday. Dr. Khan easily reminded me of a Jedi Knight with the way he carefully guided me and made sure that my health was on the good side of the force and that's coming from a Mandalorian. Thanks Dr. Khan and the friendly staff! Would definitely be coming back. May the Force be with you.

Dr Waheed khan should be suspended for the poor of Practice, my wife visited him lung pain. While he couldn't figure what the pain was caused by, he thought lung pain could be cured by an Advil also he refused to refer her for further testing and referring to other specialist. He said "I am the doctor, I will say what is happening". I had to send my wife to India in urgency for further assessment, and she was diagnosed for Fibrosis. Poor doctors in this clinic - if they can't figure out what is causing pain, they just tell you to take Advil. They do nothing but tell patients to take Advil.

It almost felt like he did it so as to discriminate against the age of a person, I am now preparing to Sue Dr Waheed Khan at this clinic.

The only lacking of this clinic is that they are not a family medicine practice - who would go elsewhere otherwise! It's a fantastic group of people running this clinic. Pleasant reception experience, and always a good and knowledgeable conversation with the nurses and doctors. Each of them is so kind and caring with the patients.

Was trying find a walk-in open Sundays that’s close to home as I work at 2 jobs. Happen to come across this clinic while doing a Google search. I’m extremely happy I found it. The staff are friendly and professional. Excellent service ; highly recommended. Even the staff at the adjoining pharmacy are friendly. Many thanks for all of your hard work and dedication.

1st time visit on a Saturday, Dr. Vasandani was professional, young, energetic, full of empathy and addressed my issue and assessed quickly. Prescribed meds that worked beautifully, will come back to see him anytime. Thank you Ruan!

The nurse was great and the doctor got me my prescription very quickly. However, I had a multiple issues to be looked at but unfortunately they only do one issue per appointment. If you're trying to get treatment for multiple issues, go to your family doctor.

Dr. Vasandani is nice and friendly. He helped with my digestion issue while my family doctor just told me to remove my gallbladder. I will always go to this clinic from now on.

They're very good. Been here a couple times now and the staff are all super polite, friendly and helpful. The main doctor is great.

One of the worst experiences ever. I waited almost 4 hours to be seen by the doctor. After I told him my problems and what I have been following to alleviate my pain just by reading from the internet, the doctor asked me “can you tell me what your question is for me because it seems you are already doing everything” and then he proceeded to advice me to go to the gym…. This is just a small part of the conversation. I understand that it was almost the end of the day and he must have been tired, however, I found his response extremely rude and unprofessional, and hope being a doctor, he is more empathetic towards his patients in the future. Very disappointed with the diagnosis. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful though.

DR. WAHEED, ZINDABAAD!
Great guy, very nice, incredibly punctual, I love their time management system, totally accurate appointment times/durations. Waheed is extremely knowledgeable with "generational" interpersonal skills. I'm surprised he's not the chief health minister of WHO and CANADA. The only thing they need to improve on is that the clinic seriously needs an fully automatic espresso machine like the Lexus dealerships. Just kidding.

The staff and doctors here are nice and efficient. They listen and work with you. Location is also excellent. I'm proud to see them in our community.

Awesooome people working there Dr. Ruan is one of the besr doc i've met, the nurses and the girl at reception everyone so friendly and responsive. Best thing they accept wide ranges of medical isurance cards so you dont have to go through the process of reimbursement.

These guys are great, if you’re going for walk in be warned the wait might be long, but I’ve always had good and comfortable experiences at this clinic.

It's my first time to go in a walk-in clinic and I am satisfied. All The receptionists are professional. I called them before I visit and they are nice. Everything wents well. It's just too much people and the place is little small. Also there is free self test for covid! I went here twice in two days and I will definitely went here in the future!

Walked in on a Saturday morning and only waited less than half an hour. Pretty unexpected and love their welcoming and professional service.

They offer an excellent service! The receptionist was so kind and helpful, the nurse was very friendly, people from the pharmacy helped me and were very patient. Dr. Ruan Vasandani is awesome!

Tried calling them to ask about reports but no one responds. Visited the clinic and they were only 2 patients ahead of me. The phone was ringing and the receptionist don't bother to pick up the call.

I brought my mother here and the experience we had from reception to intake to doctor was so refreshing. Reception was friendly and helpful when I called to inquire about the clinic. The intake personall was fast and efficient and treated my mother very well. Special shout out to Dr. Ruan who really impressed me. From start to finish he was awesome. He treated my mother as if she were his own. He even make a joke that my mother could relate to which relaxed her. Calling her "mumma" all throughout the process. I couldn't believe how WELL he treated her and with so much respect. HIGHLY recommend this clinic. Dr. Ruan genuinely cares for his patients.

I walked in today on short notice requesting a Doctor’s note. The 3 receptionists were all friendly & very welcoming! 1 of them I assume was finishing her shift but still made time to talk to me while the other 2 were busy, thank you! They made sure to let me know how many patients were ahead of me & kept me updated. 6 Patients were seen before I was & it took approximately 45 minutes.

I was treated by Dr. Hossai Furmli & she is the kindest Doctor I’ve ever met. It was my first time as her patient & she was very considerate with my requests regarding a medical assessment. Dr. Hossai was comforting with her reports as she could tell I was anxious. I couldn’t ask for a better visit from the team all around: pleasant, efficient & professional.

Some of the complaints on here mentioned that the waiting area is too small. Considering it shares space with a pharmacy & the lack of seats - that shouldn’t be anything worth mentioning. A few people have also mentioned the long wait times - but their team works quickly & addresses issues as soon as they can. Tough luck, but the wait is worth it.

I visited this place with my friend today, the clinic is small but absolutely perfect for urgent care. Firstly the girls at the reception were calm and awesome. Then the doctor named Dr. Ruan is a great man. Empathetic and knowledgeable. The pharmacy in the clinic is good and has almost everything you might need in case of emergency. Strongly recommend this place.

Had a very positive experience at the clinic and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for walk-in clinics in the area. We live 30 mins away and came here after reading all the positive reviews.

I was turned away today being told today was "special" and that they closed at 5: 00 today instead of 7: 00. I was told this at 4: 57 by the receptionist who was nice, but ultimately turned me away.
I checked the website and called before I left my home and nothing was said about closing early: both the site and recorded phone greeting said they would be open until 7 on Mondays. I trusted the site information and the automated phone greeting, and I showed up before 5 and they wouldn't see me.
I didn't ask to be seen after they turned me away.
Maybe I'm old school, but if you tell someone you're open until 5, and that person is speaking to you before 5, then be open until 5 for that person without them having to ask you to be.
I wrote this so that this business may have fewer "special" days going forward and will hopefully notify clients of early closures either on their site or on their automated greeting for the day.

Very good walk-in clinic! First time there and will definitely go back and recommend. All the staff in the clinic are very nice. Very happy! Keep up the good work!

Dr. Hossai Furmli is the most patient doctor ive ever been with. I had a triggering experience while in her care and she calmly and so very patiently sat with me. She gave me honest recommendations with my health and made me feel affirmed, secure, safe, and comforted. I cannot thank her enough for the kindness she showed me that day.

I removed a star for the place being too small, and removed another for the wait times. There are about 5 chairs kept very close together, not enough space for social distancing, and since they also do Covid-19 testing, there are obviously sick patients in close proximity that are potentially infected.

It is extremely important for a healthcare facility to have enough space for social distancing and to prevent healthy patients getting infected THERE.

Staffs and receptionist are friendly and very quick to respond to inquiries and requests! I strongly recommend this clinic.

I always had a great experience here with doctors and rest of the staff. I regularly go to visit Dr. S Furmli. He is a great Doctor. The only thing that bothers me is the wait time which can get really long but I will not take away any star for the quality of the service They provide.

Terrible experience! Even though this clinic specify as walk in, but they only take by appointment. No matter what! My kid was hurt his eyes no bleeding but very painful! I was begging the reception twice ask her let the doctor check my kid first, she refused and smile/laugh said appointment only! Very disappointed!

Fed up calling the phone number given on site. Please try to fix your phone line. It’s very difficult for us to come on time for an appointment and still wait for more than hour. Atleast we can call before arriving at clinic and make sure about waiting times.

Dr. Vasandani is the best doctor, he is knowledgeable and listens very patiently. The receptionist are very kind and humble. I recommend this clinic 100/100.

The Korean or Chinese nurse, not sure where she from, but she is really really nice as well as Dr. Ruan Vasandani, very nice and helpful. Great experience in this clinic.

Brought a family member get their TB test done here, and despite the process being a relatively quick one (first visit an injection, second visit a look at the arm to see if there was a reaction) it took 1hr+ wait time both times (even though their appointments had been made in advance). Sounded as if there was only one HCP staff member present working at a time. Would recommend going elsewhere for this particular service.

My sister and I went to this place! So glad we found this place! The female doctor and her assistant was great and welcoming, makes you feel comfortable as a new patient!

Dr. Suleiman Furmli has been a life savior to me. He is thorough in diagnosing various diseases. Every time I went, I felt the receptionists were so supportive, the nurse properly recorded the history and Dr. Furmli gave ample time to understand the etiology before prescribing any medication. Even if I have to travel, I would go to this clinic. Highly recommended.

My wife went to this clinic for getting a RT-PCR test. The staff were very pleasing and professional. The results came out exactly in 24hours time. I would definetly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a RT-PCR test for travel. The only downside is, it is little difficult to find this clinic, as it is located on the backend of the building. I would suggest the clinic, to provide some signboards, so that it is easier for customers to find the clinic.

One of the few walk-in clinics that will actually see patients in person as opposed to a phone call (which they do offer). While the service was good (but very brief, they book in 5 minute intervals) and there was a bit of a wait time, I was surprised and concerned at the lack of social distancing and COVID screening. I am a HCP and I was surprised that upon check-in I wasn’t asked any screening questions. The clinic is very small as it shares its space with the pharmacy but I found that there wasn’t any space I could wait without being shoulder to shoulder or directly in front of someone. I also noticed that the waiting room chairs and the exam beds were not wiped with a disinfectant wipe between each patient. As a HCP these incidents concerned me.

Fast and efficient processing of patients at recrption. Respectfulmeddical issue, friendly, helpful staff. Dr Furmli attentive to drtail, knowledgeable, persoal caring and interested. Gave sufficuent time and energy to address medical issue

I've visited a few times for various reasons. Always easy to make an appointment online, professional and helpful staff, quick in and out, overall great experiences.

PS: There is a visitor parking lot on Town Center Court near the lights! Though the many "no parking/no visitor parking" signs all around it is very confusing and intimidating lol.

Highly impressed. I am here to complete my pre-plecement medical tests for my college and these people are amazing. The receptionist is the sweetest most helpfull person ever. The nurses are equally professional and kind. The doctors know their job really well, really capable stuff. If you are a student do your tests here!

This is a wonderful office. All of the staff are professional and friendly. The doctor was kind and respectful. The schedule must have been well organized, because everything moved so quickly. It was a positive experience.

They charge $200 for an HPV vaccine when you can get it done for $60 at Shoppers. They charge extraordinary fees and sometimes they spring them on you.

I went to this place on May 19,2021 and the nurse who did the Nitrogen treatment over sprayed the Nitrogen (almost for a minute) and burned me.
I had 4 Nitrogen treatment before this at the same place with no issue but this last treatment made my life difficult as I cannot walk now and cannot go for work.
After calling, the receptionist said the nurse has newly joined.
Please be aware with new nurse or doctor.

Only down side was this place was a bit difficult to locate in the Condominium. Otherwise it was great, clean layout, attached Pharmacy, very kind and welcoming receptionist, friendly and comforting nurse. If you make an appointment they will see you quickly, no long waiting times. I have to go a bit out of my way to come here, and I will continue to come here because it is the best Walk-In Clinic I have been to.

The worst customer service ever. They are always trying to sell more medications needed and then don't have it in stock making you come weeks later to pick it up. I didn't need my medication three weeks after so I asked for a refund because there was no need for it and it was still in store, wouldn't give a refund and was rude about it.would never go back to this pharmacy ever.

Conveniently located near STC mall. From the receptionists, to the nurses, and the doctors, every one here is professional and kind. If you make an appointment online, you are taken in at the time you book for - no waiting. Speedy service and non-judgmental, in and out within 10 minutes. Thank you to every one here! You've all made me so comfortable. Thanks for your openness and thoroughly explaining things I don't understand - until I understand it!

Booked 3 last minute PCR tests and got an appointment a few hours after, and the results came the next day! Julie was very kind and made sure everything went accordingly and the receptionist was also great! Thank you!

Small clinic. Staff members are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. As a busy individual who doesnt enjoy doctor visits, I appreciate how this walk-in gets people in and out the door in a timely manner without feeling rushed. The staff seem genuinely concerned about my problems and asked many questions with helpful advice and guidance.

Good things come in small packages! This clinic is tiny, but quite good, with quick, direct service. I walked in on a Friday afternoon, and was in and out within 20 minutes, even though the expected wait time on their website said 45 minutes. The receptionist and doctor were both courteous and straightforward. I definitely recommend this clean little clinic.

This clinic is hands down the best walk-in I have ever been to. Polite, knowledgeable, quick, and compassionate. All of the staff both at the pharmacy and clinic were fantastic. If my GP is ever unavailable in the future I will only com back here.

I've only had positive experiences seeing doctors at this clinic. Wait times are expected as it is a walk-in clinic, but I find that the wait is usually shorter than at other clinics. If wait times are a concern, you can check their wait time online and call ahead too; what a great forward-thinking and patient-centric service they provide. I can only imagine bigger and brighter things for this clinic's future. Thanks for your care!

My favourite walk-in clinic by far. The wait time was quite short and the doctor was very patient answering all my questions. It's conveniently located across from the Scarborough Town Centre and very accessible. Look forward to more visits to this place.

Very happy with the care that I received from Dr. Suleiman Furmli. I only had to wait a few minutes to see the Dr. He took his time with me and was thorough.

If anybody planing to visit this clinic, they should change their plan because my experience is too bad from them. Doctors are not responsible, they didn't explain clearly. I visited their for skin problem and they referred me to other doctor after a week. But I didn't receive any call from anybody yet and my problem not solved yet. SO do not try this clinic.

This place is the worst. You're better off dying from whatever you have than by being seen here.
1. The wait time is horrible. Only have 1 doctor on standby with 15-20 patients waiting. I let the receptionist know that I had to get to work and still waited up to an 1 hr and WAS STILL NOT SEEN.
2. In that 50 mins, the Nurse still didn't run my urine sample, the sample I offered to give in for my BLADDER INFECTION THAT SHE SHOULD'VE ASKED ME FOR WHEN CHECKING ME IN? !? !
3. A patient came in a second later, asking to be checked IMMEDIATELY, he went to the Nurse who had the same background and dialect and WAS SEEN BY THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY?
At the end of the day, I was late for work. I am not saying the doctor was incapable at his job, as I was never seen by him. But the clinic is, especially incapable in their lack of efficiency. This is a -5 star clinic and I will never be coming back here again and I'd hope whoever is reading this, you'd do the same.
