Town of Halton Hills Gellert Community Centre

Great facility all around. I’ve taken my kids here for swimming lessons and have always been impressed with the coaches. The lady who works at reception is always so kind, has provided me change for the coffee machine, answered any questions about party bookings. I’ve attended events in the rentable rooms and always had a great time. The bathrooms are always clean, and there is a change table. Sometimes there is a band playing music in the morning and it’s beautiful to listen to.

We rented a hall here for our baby shower and were very disappointed. They would not turn on the Air conditioning system said we needed to pay $4 per minute on top of the rental hall of almost $300 for two hours. They wanted $50 an hour for just the speakers when we had our own system. We asked for kitchen access were told yes and they would call back never did and denied us access when we arrived. They said the needed 1hr 30 min between usage and the last usage was 3pm we started at 5pm. Very disappointed in the place. They need to manage and provide customer service. Not to mention the maitinanace people were never around when you needed anything. I am calling them back and demanding a partial or full refund.

Came here for a work meeting, room was large enough to fit most of us who attended. Clean. Overall was quiet due to the time we were there.
But it's got a nice outdoor play area for kids and the skate park looks great since building it a few years back.

Great facility for kids. The trainers are very friendly and the lady in the reception (missed her name) is so very helpful and kind.

Staff is always friendly and the facilities are always clean. They have really friendly front counter staff.

The tennis courts are nice, but a dome would be ideal for winter play

The pool is sad. There aren’t any diving boards, it isn’t 25 meters and it is very small

There isn’t a gym, track or any of the other basic requirements of a community centre in a town with lots of children.

The baseball diamonds are pretty good.

Love it, love it! My first Aqua fitness class here. Instructor are awesome so are the staff friendly an courteous. Thank you ladies!

Went here for vaccination, kids park is small but has good playing equipment, my daughter loved zipline and slides

Was there again for my covid booster shot.all staff and especially the nurses are a credit to their profession. Incredibly well organized

This location is a beautiful community center. It has a great path for jogging, bike riding, walking your dog. A water splash for kids. A massive football field. 3 baseball fields. Tennis. Soccer field. Indoor swimming and swimming lessons. Covid-19 Maderna injections. Also skate boarding pools.
A huge playground for kids. It gas everything you need.

Covid vaccine centre at my last visit, very well organized. Very happy with the organization of everything. I think it made everyone feel very at ease and proud of their community centre.

Amazing park for kids i have been to places you pay for parks worse than this. Giant slide and zip line. Not to mention the splash pad.

Got vaccinated here. Would get vaccinated here again when there's another pandemic. 10l10 recommend.

One of the best community centre. What sets it apart is that it has a zip line for kids, the only place where I have seen it. It also has a place for skating, roller blades and stunt cyclists apart from soccer grounds, baseball grounds, a swimming place which is closed now due to corona. It also has a big playground for the kids and a big splash pad as well. And a huge parking lot as well.

Went today for my vaccine. It was very professional and smoothly done. Awesome people working there.

Was there for my M Jab. Well organized except for people not pre-registered coming in and holding up staff. With their passports and outdated doc's. While others waited for their registered booking.

Very good experience with the vaccine jab, they have this to a tee here, well done and so well organized.

Took my Mum to get covid vaccine very nice place would love to swim on the pool there when everything opens again.

Got our Moderna shot at The Gellert Centre earlier thos afternoon and it work like a finely-oiled machine from the beginning to the end. The staff is amazing and very friendly. Don't hesitate: get your vaccine!

Vaccination clinic is extremely well run, on schedule. What great volunteers we have in Halton!

I love going here especially because it’s perfect for my son, there’s a skate park a playground for the kids and little ones and 3 pools!

My son loves the temperature of the baby pool and everyone is so friendly there, definitely will be going back soon!

The pool is nice. They seem to keep the pool and change rooms pretty clean. Bring a looney for the lockers.

Also, beware of the teenage gestapo that runs the place as life guards. They are rude (in all fairness any that I’ve dealt with I can’t speak to all of them) and they don’t seem to know what the rules are or how to tell time.

Love this place! Been coming here for over 9 years. Lots of options to do for all ages, cleanliness, ease of access from various directions and safety. Well maintained!

Loved my time in Georgetown and wish I could have stayed there. Unfortunately, no affordable rentals for Seniors, so took the bull by the horns and moved east to New Brunswick and am happy with the decision. Halton Hills.the name says it all. Lovely rolling hills. Very picturesque and I suspect a great place for those with an artistic bent. It is unfortunate that there is so little affordable housing for seniors.

The centre is clean and airy the pool is well maintained and the lifeguards are pleasant and accomodating (we visited with our Cub Scouts and a lifeguard offered to do some testing for badge competencies)

Good pool, kids pool with a long slide, large hot tub, and dry sauna. Also Birthday party facilities. A+

I take my son weekly for swimming lessons. It is very nice swimming pool area. Staff always find a way to make kids smile and have fun so lessons turn in to a game rather than swimming lessons

The Gellert Center is a great place! It’s well maintained and the pools are good. There’s even a rope to swing off of in the deep end! If swimming isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy yourself in the hot tub or sauna. 10/10

My daughter does her swimming here. Cleab and well kept and has large size pools as well as a water slide.

Great pool for everyone. Hot Tub, Sauna, kiddy pool and large pool.something for everyone.best to call ahead in case the kiddy pool is closed due to "contamination"

This is a very nice place. It's kept very clean and well maintained. It has family, woman's and men's change rooms.

A really nice swimming pool to take the kids to. Quite busy on the weekends but the facilities are very new and the kids love it. Has a waterslide and a kids pool and they have lots of floating toys for the kids to play with. They have a family changing room as well as the usual men’s and ladies which is nice if you’ve got kids of mixed ages and genders and want to keep the family together. All the change rooms have open areas and stalls for privacy. Lockers cost $2 but many people bring their stuff out to poolside.
