Town Taxi

My rating would have been a 5 star because the drivers are awesome, but the person answering the phone is extremely rude.

Ok so i got a taxi from here and literally the car was so filthy, dirt, crumbs EVERYWHERE it smelt like cigarettes it was disgusting and this guy is just coughing on his hand then back on the steering wheel

This is a really goated taxi service.my drivers name was francé, he was really goated and i know his daughter she’s really goofed up compared to her fauther.this was a 10/10 experience and i would LOVE to relive it.francé is a GOAT.best worker give him a raise

Wonderful caring management, very Community oriented. They take care of our Seniors in Town and our Veterans on a regular basis. Plus they were very generous in donating their services for a special circumstance for a Veteran event. The Royal Canadian Legion highly recommends them.

Driver is good but prise.
They ride me from Walmart up 13 line and back. 15km.
Charge $55. It's crazy.and dispatch don't even say it when I made order.

Use singh taxi. When they say they will be there in a certain amount of time they are.unlike town taxi who tells you 15 mins all the time and it always ends up being much more. Unreliable. Not drivers fault but more dispatch.

Ripped off. Went the wrong way. Called him out. Said there was a ride program. Then backed tracked when asked if he had a problem going through a ride program. Then said, no worries don't pay anything. Told him the way to take us home. Paid our fare. Then told him don't do this to anyone else. #laborboard #sevendollarcabride #payattention

I don't have much choice but to use town taxi, as I can't drive, but I have to say they're utterly useless. I get a taxi at the same time every morning, and the driver is always late. This morning the driver didn't come in and they couldn't be bothered to call me and let me know, so I then had to scramble last minute to try and find something, and going to college in Toronto, will be excessively late. Thanks a lot, guys.

Absolutely horrible.
I normally have a good experience with town taxi. But today is the last day I ever call them.
"We'll be there in 25 minutes"
35 minutes later I call. "He'll be there in a few minutes"
An HOUR after that they tell me he'll be there in a few more minutes.
It has now been an hour and a half with no sign of any taxi. I have a toddler with me in the freezing cold, they are well aware of this.
I left, taking the bus and will never call town taxi again.

The man on the phone was asking about passenger race. When I was helping a few people with their conversation, he promptly asked me if the customers are oriental. After telling him of the irrelevance of his question he told me my tone wasn’t good and “don’t put wrong words in my mouth”

I would not recommend Town Taxi to my worst enemy. I called for a taxi about 5: 25 in the morning. I asked the dispatcher approximately how long it would be until the taxi arrived (I wasn't sure if the fleet was busy or if maybe it would take a while since Town Taxi is notorious for wait times, and I made it clear to the dispatcher I was trying to catch a train). The dispatcher was exceptionally rude and told me my tone of voice was "aggressive" (I have a disability and my voice simply sounds uneven at times, but I was definitely not aggressive), and he then proceeded to lecture me that asking how long it would be until the taxi arrived was "very rude" (again, I had made it very clear it was time sensitive and if they were not able to be there quickly they could simply say so and I would call a different taxi). When he finally told me how long it would be, I muttered "good Lord" or something along those lines, at which point the dispatcher yelled at me that I was "swearing at him". I ended up hanging up because there is no way I am paying to take that abuse.

The drivers are also very unfriendly. I had one driver spend the entire fifteen minute taxi ride home telling me I could have walked it (I could have I guess but it would have taken an hour). Also as previously mentioned, the wait times for a taxi are often ludicrous.

Tl;dr: terrible customer service, would not recommend. I am not normally so motivated to post reviews but my experience this morning was the final straw. Thankfully you now have a plethora of other taxi services to choose from in Bradford.

Horrible phone manners, always late and Ive even had drivers not give me my change back and assume I'm giving them a tip.
