If I could have put zero stars I would have. First of all the greeter at the door was extremely rude and unprofessional her name is Nancy me and my mother came there for a golden ticket hunt witch was very unorganized not one employee knew anything about it the one that did said the tickets weren’t put out yet meanwhile they had no idea. Over all customer service was extremely poor and I would not recommend to bring your family there to shop horrible experience.

Rose and Noor were really helpful. I asked a lot of questions and was very happy to receive meaningful answers.

My only concern is with some of the quality of assembled products. The cribs in the store did not feel sturdy. I was informed that it was because these were display models. However, I feel like sturdiness is an important factor in making a determination for a crib.

Would also like to see more strollers be in stock.

Update: went for their pre black Friday sales and everyone was extremely helpful in helping is make a determination. Anna is extremely knowledgeable and gave us advice on how to put our purchased stroller together. Comparing between strollers was really helpful for us since we had a decent idea of what we wanted but were afraid of making the wrong choice.

If you have a corporate sale, Toys “R” Us is highly recommended. The level of service and attention to detail is impeccable. The gifts purchased were hot items and the team helped me stay within budget.

Went here to return an item purchased on line. Stood in a huge line up only to be told once I got to the cash that I was in the wrong line in. I then had to wait in another huge line to make the return. They need signage to direct customers instead of wasting people’s time

Lots of these have shut down, but this one remains open. I remember coming here in my childhood. It brings joy to my eyes to be able to bring my kids here too.
They don't just have toys. They also have plenty of board games now too. The lego section also looked unreal.

This is probably the best Toys R Us in Toronto! Great selection, and the store is huge. I was looking for an item thats not all that easy to find and they actually had it. One of their reps went above and beyond, Tex thank you! I'll definitely be back to this location again.

More expensive than other retailers, don't bother to buy gifts or gift cards here. And don't expect any price matching.

We had to do a curb side pick up for a crib and dresser, the young man Chris came out to the truck followed complete covid protocol and was so nice to deal with. Fantastic customer service all the way around!
A wonderful experience at this Toys R Us at Sherway, we would definitely make the hour trip from up north to shop here again

Bought a toy for my sons birthday, after opening it and installing batteries the toy does not work at all. Went to return for a refund and was told they can’t give a refund for something with an open box. Not sure how you’re supposed to know something is defective without opening it. Also said if it was older than 30 days it could not be returned, I bought it for my sons birthday way ahead of time while it was on sale. It’s not like we changed our minds and didn’t want it, we were literally sold a defective product. It was a toys r us brand toy too. Store credit would have been fine, not looking for cash. I feel robbed. I spent at least $500 dollars this holiday season at toys r us too. Unfortunately this money will go to awful Amazon and Walmart next holiday.

This is probably the best Toys R Us in Toronto! Great selection, and the store is huge. I was looking for an item thats not all that easy to find and they actually had it. One of their reps went above and beyond, Tex thank you! I'll definitely be back to this location again.

I bought a baby carrying bag from this store. I went to return it. They refused to give return/store credit because I lost my receipt. Very disappointed.

Went to the store to create a baby registry. Had no clue where to start or what to choose. Anna was an angel who helped me and my mom figure it all out. She is very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Thank you Anna! See you again soon:)

Yes I do agree with other reviewers that the staff could be more helpful and knowledgeable of products here. The ToysRUS in the USA is a much better shopping experience. That said, there is a very good selection of toys for kids

I just had to recommend the curbside pickup from Toys R Us!
After ordering online, it was processed quickly and when I arrived it was a seamless process. I really liked the signage in the parking space and texting the information is such a great option! Very streamlined and quick!

I came to this location looking for a car seat whilst pregnant and the staff in the stroller or baby area was very knowledgeable, patient, thorough. They set us up with the best stroller/carseat that fit our lifestyle. A year later now looking into a transition carseat for my one year old and I gave this location a call all the way from Brantford because I trust the help I would get! In result I ended up getting a Graco 4ever all- in - one. I wish I knew the names to thank.but thank you to the staff for so far being consistently awesome!

Walked in today thinking I can get a wagon but due to the size of it I decided to purchase at the store and get them to deliver to our house. The customer service lady (Asian) doesn’t seem very helpful and said there will be extra shipping if I purchase in store and want them to delivery. So I said that’s fine I will order online and I asked to pay for the items Ive picked she just so rude and pointed at the cashier. Can’t you see I’m 6 months pregnant and why did she make everything so difficult. I was only buying a few baby headbands for god sakes and usually customer service take care of purchases too. Rude person shouldn’t be at the customer service department nor work as a retailer.

My experience was horrible with them, they were soooo lazzyyy and they cant even tell the truth, they had to replace my bicycles tire and they said come in next week but they haven't called for 2 months, the employees are horrible, and when we came in 2 months later, they fixed it on the spot, horrible store.

Terrible return policy. Ordered a product on line during COVID store closures with no in store purchasing available at the time. Turns out the product was defective, so I went to return it in store with my receipt that was emailed to me when purchased. They would not give me a refund because I did not have the purchase order or the paper receipt that was delivered with the product, even though I still had the email receipt. I was only issued a store credit or an exchange. Very frustrating experience, and I feel they need to reconsider their policy especially under the circumstances during these times when in store purchasing was not an option at the time.

Had a dreadful experience. Got a bicycle for my toddler. While trying to ride in the first week itself the support wheels came off and she almost had an accident. In order to save her I fell on the ground got some injuries. When went to the store today and spoke to the guy in return section he simply didn't want to take any blame and instead insisted that I should have checked the product beforehand. Once it is out of the store it is no longer their responsibility. I mean isn't there a service caller after sales service and how rude is to speak to a customer like that! When I asked him to speak politely and warned that I won't be making future purchases from the store if the behavior continues, he simply said it's your choice. They better train their employees. Toys r us curb side pick up has been a great option for us these days. The staff (especially the lady with the Scottish accent) is wonderful, efficient and very friendly when bringing out our items to the car. Thank you for all your hard work! Also very pleased with the email communications toys r us has provided us when we had ordered an item which turned out to be out of stock, so they didn’t charge us for it. Please keep supporting this company so we can keep them open here in Canada!

Nice location, friendly staff and good selection here, always find what I'm looking for. There's something very special when a child goes into a toy store, I remember when I was a child and I see my children's experience, I'm glad that toysrus Canada survived.

They are soo unprofessional people, they engage the phone on purpose so that they don’t have to attend calls, i had to exchange my daughters swing and wanted to know their exchange policy, first two times no body answered the call and then it kept coming busy for more than an hour and i had to call other location just to know about their policy, this is very unprofessional and disgusting

We made a visit to this store and had the best customer service experience from Arlene and Dipali. Arlene was a very informative associate who detailed to me regarding the stock of a product! When we were in line, a woman cut in front of us without our knowledge. This prompted Dipali to let us know, which resulted in us rightfully being able to pay first. This earned our respect for the store and company! Keep up the good work!

I chose a family of my little pony set today for 16.99 daughters and it was clearly labelled with name on the rack.on the cashier it was for 34 dollars n d lady said she cant price match as its the last piece of the rack.what kind of a stupid policy or rule is this.i wud never go their again.its good that toys r us was shutting down.they better shut down than cheat around!

We ordered a halo bassinet in-store with delivery expected in the next 5 business days (Purolator tracking number). It's been almost a month and still no item. After contacting customer care it took them about 10 days to get back to let us know they are looking in to it. After almost a month we get a reply saying item was delivered. WE NEVER GOT THE ITEM. The tracking number still states it's pending shipment. After calling customer care they informed me that it will take another 3 weeks for somebody to figure out what's going on. Our baby is due in 2 weeks so now I have to go and get the same bassinet on Amazon or at buybuybaby at least I'll know I won't have these issues with them.

My wife put a Christmas gifts list together and I was able to get 90% of it done here. The selection was great I found two items on sale which is great. Make sure to ask staff to check the back for any inventory. I thought they sold out of the children’s play center but the manager insisted on checking the back and saved me a trip to another store!

This is why Toys r Us is losing business to boutique stores and online.
Came to the store with my wife to look for some big ticket items for our coming child and to start a registry. There was only one associate at the desk and she was already helping a customer. There was already 2 people in queue, which continued to grow over the next 30 minutes before someone else showed up to help. The new associate asked what everyone needed, then went and helped others who had showed up after us. After waiting another 20 minutes, with that associate helping others she finally attended to us. We asked if she could help us pick a stoller and she waved over to the entire section and said "Yeah, basically they're all pretty good. " At this point my preganat wife feeling annoyed that we have now been waiting for almost an hour and now provided no help, asked the associate why she helped others first, voicing how she was upset that we were here first and now after waiting for almost an hour and giving us no help. The associate got upset with my wife and started talking back.not good for a pregnant woman. I had to step in and deescalate the situation before it blew up. I can't believe someone in customer service let that happen. I understand you're stressed, but you can't raise your voice to a customer. Especially one who's pregnant! After that she went to each stroller and said "Yeah, basically this is one of our best sellers" all best sellers eh? Add on top of that all the associates were particularly salty towards each other. You are representing a company, don't allow your company politics and issues to be seen by customers. Horrible experience, Amazon and Snuggle bugs all the way.

The worst Toys R Us in the city. Disorganized, messy, and employs lazy kids who I watched staring at a ringing phone, not answering it.
