The worst experience ever in this location. The staff on cashier was not professional at all. I bought a toy yesterday and took it home trying to fix the batteries and the toy was not working. Drove back to the store for 25 minutes the day after and it took the cashier 10 minutes to figure out how to do refund and replace the item by a new one on the system (lack of training). Had my screwdriver on me to try the new toy but.something is also wrong with the new one… could not even open the screw.went back to the cashier to ask them to help me to make sure that the toy is working as I don’t want to drive back and forth.then the supervisor came to the counter and said it is not our job to help you.then I have asked for refund.he/she told me no.you have to take the toy home and try it first. I was very surprised about that very rude way of talking to customers and the supervisor knows nothing about customer service. I was upset and they ask me to leave the store … and they refused to refund my money although I have my receipt.
Later on my friend came and helped me to refund the money.
I always buy from toys r us not only in Canada but also in Dubai.but I have never been through that rudeness and this low quality of customer service.

I used to work at this store and have continued shopping here ever since I left. I hadn't left a review because of the fact that I've worked here, I get it. But I had an awful experience with one staff member on Black Friday that is really just rubbing me the wrong way. I found what I was looking for easily and the floor staff were all so wonderful. But when I got to cash, the girl with her hair slicked back and pink cargo pants was just so incredibly rude. She calls me to her till, then makes a comment about how I could have gone to the other till but she guesses she'll help. I try to be friendly and positive, but the whole time she treats me like I'm a burden to her existence. She didn't ask if I wanted a bag, which is whatever, but then when it was time to pay, she gets it ready, I try to pay and then she swoops in with asking about Starlight which again, I get, but the way she asked me was again just.the tone was so incredibly rude, and to ask after I'm already trying to pay was just not cool.

I don't know what her deal was but I cannot believe that she thought that was an acceptable way to treat a customer when I was nothing short of friendly and positive with her.

The last time i was in I overheard a conversation between two employees going over résumés calling them “too qualified to apply” before throwing them out mentioning that they were hiring based off of the design of the résumé’s instead of actual qualifications. Savanah (the girl who had said this) is a real piece of work

This Toys"R"Us location is just amazing.

They always have great deals, well stocked and organized.

My son and I enjoy coming to this Toys"R"Us.

Their staff members are all very polite, friendly and helpful.

Most of the time, I buy online to secure the item I want, and then I come to the store for pick-up and check around.

I hope every Toys r Us switches to this bright almost open concept style store. Almost all the shelves are no more then 5ft tall and you can see from one end of the store to the other easily. This is mainly for ease of navigation but as a parent it's easy to see where your kids is. They carry almost any toy you would look for. They also have a baby/newborn section full of everything a new parent might want. You can also order online to pick up at the store to save time, but it is a lot of fun to walk around and browse.

When I asked a member of the staff if they had any baby toy balls, she responded, "No, we don't, " so we walked around the store for a while and eventually found the toy balls. Then, as we waited in line to check out, they had like two cashiers waiting and checking how long the line had been, and they either had a problem with a customer or the customer was complaining, I don't know what it was, but they were just standing there doing nothing while Simply said, they were quite unpleasant and unfriendly.

Staff not helpful or sympathetic to situations out of customers control. I needed to exchange a gift I got for my son as I got two of the same. After talking to 3 people, giving loads of information and taking almost an hour of time I finally got the exchange. When I asked who I could talk to about the situation I was told to leave a review, so here you are!

Store has a great selection and staff is super friendly, especially Linda, who helped us with our registry and answered all our questions.
