I used tenant insurance from Desjardins (Tracey Pether's group) for four years and it was a very smooth experience. They didn't push add-ons on me, always responded to my emails within a day, were very thorough in their job, and provided a great experience overall. Their rates were also quite competitive. I'd say one should always shop around for rates, but if you're getting similar rates, then I wouldn't hesitate going with this group.

Premiums are great, but the customer service is acceptional. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, response, and super easy to get a hold of. I switched my partner over to her as well as an acquisition of his previous provider by another company resulted in a substantial dip in customer service.
