Nice dessert place located in First Markham Place plaza, serving a wide range of drinks, dessert, and snacks. The food is flavorful, and the price is reasonable. It's a great spot to grab hot drinks and dessert in wintertime. The service is quick.

A go-to place for mango pudding.
But the service has a lot to be desired, which has been consistently poor for the past 15+ years.

MUST GO FOR A TRADITIONAL LATE NIGHT SNACK! They make great shaved ice, with three toppings to choose from. You should definitely try their matcha shaved ice with strawberry, mango, and coconut jelly cubes! Their free date teas that they serve as well is also very nice. There salty snack options are also very nice too! Must go for the HK rolls!

I'm gonna have to say the desserts here do not disappoint. I ordered the 紅豆燉蛋 and it was excellent. Reminds me of Hong Kong

A small dessert establishment that has 9 round tables with 4 round stools that seat about 36 tightly. Though not all tables always have 4 people, so it's cozy.
Fairly busy on weekends with a wide variety of desserts. They have a few cooked food snack options available.

Sticky Rice with coconut $5.99
Not bad. Looks very decent. Ok.

Herbal Jelly $7.29
Not very dense, smooth texture.

Popcorn salmon $9.29
Cooked perfectly, interesting salmon version, but not bad.

Mango & Pomelo tapioca $8.49
A bit too thick. Too much tapioca versus Mango. Would pass next time.

Sweet Sesame Thick soup $5.99
Thought this was very good. Perfectly sweet. Though small quantity.

Good overall. Certain items are better than others.

I recently visited there with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We were unaware of the restaurant's policy regarding outside food, and when we brought some snacks for our hungry child, the staff's attitude was extremely unwelcoming and unpleasant.

As parents, our main concern was to ensure our child's comfort and well-being, especially when they were feeling hungry. We understand that some establishments have policies against bringing outside food, but the lack of empathy and understanding from the staff was disheartening.

Customer service is a crucial aspect of any dining experience, and unfortunately, the attitude we encountered was far from satisfactory. It is essential for restaurant staff to handle such situations with professionalism and courtesy, especially when dealing with families and children.

We believe that a more understanding approach would have been appropriate, such as politely informing us about the policy and offering alternative options to address our child's hunger. Such an approach would have left us with a better impression of the restaurant, even if we couldn't bring our own snacks.

We hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and emphasizes the importance of customer service and creating a welcoming environment. Ultimately, it is the customers' experiences that shape their perception of a restaurant, and unfortunately, ours was marred by the unfriendly attitude we encountered.

Overall, we were disappointed with the unwelcoming attitude displayed by the staff when we brought outside food. We hope that our feedback helps the restaurant improve its customer service and ensure a more positive experience for future guests.

The herb grass jelly was really good. The texture was smooth and so much better than their home made grass jelly which tastes like can grass jelly, it was hard. The hot tofu was good but the shaved ice was just ok.

My favourite Chinese dessert restaurant in Toronto. The mangos are always fresh and ripe. The tofu pudding and mango pudding never disappoint. The black sesame balls in sweet ginger is also excellent. Cash and debit accepted.

This chinese desert has great food and deserts on a budget and my parents love it there my father says it's more like traditional Chinese deserts and not too sweet great place.

Best value for chinese desserts portion size is good and fairly priced with a good variety of traditional Chinese desserts and snacks.

Classic traditional HK desserts - well made but a little bit pricey. We tried the mango pomelo sago, black sesame soup, and sweet dumplings soup. The pomelo was our fav

Classic Chinese dessert! Been a staple at FMP for a long time says a lot about it’s quality. Good value and desserts are great. Not the biggest spot so may have to wait when it’s busier at night.

Nice little dessert place around the area. I’ve always ordered the herb jelly from them.

Hot pot rice are a must try.

The tasted good for a fair price. But don’t have too high expectations about service. Even though they’re kinda a little bit rude…just remember next time before you go in the rush time. Please be patient to listen to what your customers say.

Good place for clay pot rice and desserts. You will be sitting in wooden stools so it isn't very comfortable.

This place has been around for years and their mango desserts have always been featured here as the star of the show. What impressed me was the homemade grass jelly. The mango pomelo sago with grass jelly (楊枝金露涼粉爽) is pictured here. Would order this again and again.

They also offer savory Hong Kong style snacks like street rice noodles (街邊腸粉) and stewed desserts.

Don't expect to be able to sit long on a busy night (very much understandably so) - fortunately if catching up with friends you can take advantage of the benches throughout FMP.

Horrible dessert experience, it tasted so bad that we only sip one and cannot continue, won’t come back again.
17 June 2022 8:51
Great little spot that serves HK bites & desserts.

They’ve revamped their menu & now include multiple pages of items from fresh fruits, shakes, savoury snacks & desserts.

It’s a small place, so expect to wait a bit during peak hours.

Cash is king, but now they also accept Interac.

Terrible desserts. Ordered the black sesame, almond and walnut sweet soups that were pretty much just corn starch slurries.dissapointing

We got Homemade Grass Jelly w/ Sea Coconut Jelly & Fresh Fruit and Steamed Rice Noodle Roll. The Grass Jelly came loaded with Fruits like Watermelon, Papaya, Kiwi, Cantaloupe, Strawberries & Coconut Jelly on a bed of Grass Jelly topped with Coconut Milk! The Fruits were sweet, came in a good variety, the Coconut Milk added great sweetness to the Grass Jelly, it was so delicious! Steamed Rice Noodle Roll was also amazing, the Rice Noodle Roll were soft and chewy, the sauces made it so amazing, it also came in such a good portion for the price!

Comfort Hong Kong style food and desserts! Always a great place to go at night or even lunch since they have a large variety ofnstone pot rice and snacks.

This little dessert shop is very popular. Has a great selection of traditional and modern Chinese Desserts, as well as snacks and meal options. Shaved ice was very refreshing and the clay pot rice was also very flavourful.

Tracy Dessert is always a solid choice for traditional Hong Kong style snacks and desserts. In particular, we always get the Snowflake Ice. They give a generous portion and you can select your own fruit combinations.

They are cash only so be prepared before you go.

Authentic Chinese food! I especially love the hot pot rice and shaved ice. The prices are low for how much they give you.
24 February 2021 23:28
Both the mango sago, and fresh fruit sagos are always amazing. My bf and I love coming here for their fresh fruit desserts, even if it's just for takeout.

They've always served fruit with absolutely perfect ripeness, and never skimped on how much fruit they give. But the prices are still great.

Would highly recommend the fresh fruit sago with coconut jelly and substitute the coconut milk sago base for mango sago base.

Hands down the best Asian fresh fruit dessert place in the GTA.

Went there to try their Rice Pot had the spareribs. The flavour was delicious and the meal was great. I also tried the side dishes it was also very flavourful. I will be returning to try the desserts that have looked very tasteful.

Went there several times and finally got enough this time so I need to write a review. My friend and I forgot to bring cash this time. So I asked my friend stay then I went to the nearby ATM for cash. When I came back, all of our food was taken away by their staff without asking my friend if we would like to pack our food or not (We originally are planing to pack). My friend was so shocked by the rude service. As a frequent customer, I would not consider go back again even the food tastes good. We are not paying money for such poor service. They never smile, they serve you like you owe them money.

Went here for dinner too and really good. About 14 dollars for a steamed clay pot rice that serves 2 and made pretty well.
