Trade Secrets Pickering Town Centre

I came in for a haircut. Asked for a trim and long layers in the back. Ended up with extremely short layers all over my head, including around my face. I'm very disappointed and now have to struggle to style my hair so it looks decent. Would not recommend this salon at all.

Expensive for a bad job. Charged me $10 just for upper lip. The wax was boiling hot and I still had hair after. The lady also left lots of aloe on my face so I asked for a napkin to wipe off! She gave me a tissue which left tissue residue on my face, and it itches! Will never go back.

Came here recently to do my eyebrows for a special day the one worker that was there iffet. Did my eyebrows perfect my parents was happy:) Highly recommend getting brows done here.

I went in to get my eyebrows down and the worker there told me to come back in 15 mins, as it looked like she just started on a "client" I came back as instructed and she was still working on the "client" she then said I could sit down. Turns out the person was a friend. I waited an extra 10 mins while she had a personal conversation with her friend and completely ignore me. The hairdresser gave her three warning and she still continued to chat with her friend. I would never refer anyone to go here absolutely horrible.

So I waited a couple days after getting a haircut from this place to post my review because. I know that it takes a few days for the hair to settle down after being cut and for you to get used to the new haircut. Normally I would never ever tell anybody to not get serviced by somebody because I would not want to harm their livelihood. However, I had such an extremely horrible experience at this place by Balqis that I would actually never recommend anyone to go to her for a haircut. It was a horrible experience. I wish I can go back in time and never go to her. The amount of hair that she showed me she was going to cut with about six inches, the amount that she actually took off was about 18, that is a huge difference. My hair looks absolutely horrible. I hate it I just can't stand it. I am so incredibly upset I even told her at the beginning that please make sure that it's not too short that I'm able to put it up in a bun. When she was done I told her I can't even put it up in a bun. She held it up in a pony saying see look you can. I'm looking at her thinking are you for real. Are you an actual hairdresser. Do you understand the difference between a pony and a bun.

I went to the Pickering town centre location to get my upper lip done and was unsatisfied with the result. The skin on my lip was peeled off by the wax as I think the girl that did it was not properly trained. Please train your staff properly as I do not want this to happen to other customers.

I received a haircut on Sunday, October 17th. At the time, my hair was touching my butt. I asked for a trim and long layers. My hair was significantly cut to the shortest it has ever been in 6 years. To say I was in shock is an understatement. Throughout the process, the stylist assured me it was not short. He made a bunch of comments on my hair and seemed to be cutting without any process. After straightening my hair, I can see that the “layers” are scattered everywhere and look absolutely terrible when straightened. Extremely disappointed as it was a $60 haircut for a trim mainly. If the stylist did not know how to work on my hair texture (Indian), he should not have touched my hair.

I was treated very rudely by the sales staff person on Sunday, December 15 at 5: 50 p.m. When l inquired about the sparkly hair spray that your store has provided for many years, particularly during the Christmas and New Years season, l was spoken to in an abrupt and dismissive manner and tone. I didn't believe the person, partly because the closing gated door was partially lowered ten minutes before closing time and partly because l have never received such rude treatment in the eighteen years that l have been a customer at your store. Your employee seemed to be anxious to get out out of the store. One minute later as l passed by on my way to the mall exit, she had her coat on and it was apparent that she had already closed the cash desk prior to my entry into the store at 5: 50 p.m. Appearances would indicate that she had no intention of selling me anything, which led me to believe that she wasn't bring truthful with me. I have purchased this particular product for crazy hair days and Hallowe'en at my school, and during this festive time of year. There are other stores like Beauty Supply and Chatters who are interested in serving their customers in new and innovative ways, who treat their customers politely, so l will take my business elsewhere.

George did my hair and he was wonderful. It looks fantastic and much healthier. George was absolutely lovely. He listened carefully to my wishes and went above and beyond to make sure my hair looked great. I would highly recommend him as a stylist, firstly for his great styling skills and secondly for his kind and friendly demeanour. Thank you George! I will definitely be returning.

Nice friendly staff. Store is packed with product, but you'd expect that from this type of store.is clean too, which is nice.

Trade secrets how do you hire such incompetent people! First off i asked the sales person what hair straightner she had and she showed me where it was and proceeded to run her fingers through my hair randomly who does that. Then I saw signs all over the store that said spend 65+ on any purchase and receive a mini straightner free. When i ask her about it she says thats for next month so why are you putting up all the signs early very misleading. Its a matter of time you before you guys go out of business when theres so many better places to go with better customer service.good riddance

My wife went into this Pickering location and the lady literally RIPPED THE FLESH off her face with her threading.my wife was very clear to the worker that she wanted an experienced person, this woman identified herself as a professional.
This was a day prior to our vacation and my wife’s eyes began to swell and droop because of the damage. I have posted pictures and will attach the email my wife sent to head office with no response from anyone.
My wife now has visible scars on her face.

I wanted to inform you about a terrible experience I had at your pickering Town centre location. I’m so sorry this is a negative email, but I think it’s important for you to know. My husband surprised me for my 40th birthday with a trip to Mexico. As it was last minute, I went to the mall to get my eyebrows threaded. I’ve been getting waxed and threaded for over 25 years (I’m Indian and that’s what we do). The woman who is a hairdresser there, claims to also do threading. I can thread myself (and I have proper threading thread from India), but it’s difficult to do my eyebrows by myself. Anyway, she cut my skin in several places. My one eye was swollen and my eyelid was drooping over my eye. The next day we flew to Mexico. The cuts turned scabs and hurt a lot. I was unable to put makeup on or clean my face properly. I’m not sure what kind of hairdresser she is, but she shouldn’t be doing threading. My dad is a hairdresser as is my dad’s sister. I’ve grown up in this industry. I was shocked to have experienced this. I have taken photos of you wish you see them.
