Concerning. Huge privacy issue. How is it that I’m able to see someone else’s name and address, also their CC with another bank (statements and status). Seeing all this on my online banking, under check credit score. How is it that something like this could happen because similar name or same date of birth? Why is it that companies like transunion are not held accountable for these errors? Something as important as credit report… to get a car, a home, get a loan… start a business. Trying to reach out and it’s not looking good.

Misleading website and constant access errors. Equifax should be the sole provider until a replacement for TransUnion is found.

Found a transaction from them on my CC, called them, the automated message says “you can become a member unknowingly” - how, I wonder? Customer service was super u helpful and hung up on me.

Honestly if I could pay you guys to believe me I would. A sin is tied to your name letting other people handle it messes up your career, banks won’t approve you because of the people who are place in the wrong positions. Their system is extremely wrong with giving scores Equifax is the way to go

I m done and lost all hopes, from last year and a half, i hv been calling them to check my information coz no one approves me of car loan. Apparently, they cannot pull uo any credit history on my behalf but i hv been doing everything right paying alk my bills timely. Whenever i call them they told me to send them a hand written letter stating the issue, but never got a single revert. Nothing ever happened? They hv messed up my credig score. I curse them.

They do things in their own terms, I tried yo cancel its impossible, they hang up, or simply thatcservoce is not available. So I'm stuck paying a monthly fee

Read a dozen+ reviews, and my interaction with TU reflects a general consensus that it's one of the worst experience one can have nowadays in on-line customer service and the Institution itself (lack of satisfactory results of inquiries, disputes, interventions etc.)
After registering (and being charged) couldn't access my acc because it is suspended as they cannot validate my identity, you must have heard it hundred times.
Spent hrs listening to outgoing messages, talking to dozens semi-competent ppl (with an accents posing additional hardship-but that's ok, I have an accent too), trying not to lose my temper after going through verification process every time I called (despite having case #).
Eventually my case got escalated and I'm supposed to receive a call from Escalation Team within 48hrs, so now I need to walk with my phone buds in for two days not to miss it, with very faint hope it would bring positive results.
I sign up with Equifax with no hitch, by apparently I need TransUnion to clear a hurdle with a car renting application.

My bigger question that echoes other voices here, is how come they operate with such an incompetence mixed with impudence, after messing up so badly?
Why so many financial/credit/other institution still base they decisions on feedback from them, despite a quagmire they create for so many?
Why there is no legal action to stop/rectify such an abuse fiduciary duties to the public?

Signup with TransUnion recommended by BDC and had terrible terrible terrible experience! When I called they always said that their system was down and they could not help. They told me to wait and check back again, again, again. The same thing repeated, repeated.for a few days but their system was still down, down, down. When they charged my credit card for the membership in my membership reviewal day, their system works! After they charged my credit card, there is no payment notification email. Added on star because it will not post my review if I don't choose one star!

Worst customer service. I've been trying 3 years now to get them to correct my information because of someone applying for credit cards in my name. Its still unresolved with all the proof I could give.

Horrible interface. All I needed was a credit report with my score on top of it but oh no, I had to go to two different webpages and hit control + p to print it out and in the end the page with my credit score doesn't even show my name on it. So I give that to the landlord and I get a call that this score doesn't have your name on it!
I mean such a simple thing to implement on their portal to export the whole report and score in one PDF file and they can't do it.

I paid for my credit report 3 days ago and I am not able to access my account or online report. I have wrong accounts under my name and wrong address. I am calling different phone numbers and every-time I get connected to India and all they do is transfer me around. Is this a Genuine credit report company? I have other credits card that I never heard I had.

Please can someone tell me if they are scam or not?

Completely useless. They don't provide any services on time and no service at all. After gathering all the information and data they just said its not in their systems. As mentioned in their website, on the same address I have mailed to them my important documents and now they have changed this address to something else and they want me to again send the documents there. I came to know that address got changed from Burlington to Hamilton when I call them to get an update over my issue. I am paying for the mailing not they and they don't bother about anything. Now if I again send me documents, pay extra fees for mail and what if Transunion again say that again their address got changed?
Why public have to suffer if your address changed or whatever?
TransUnion responsible for that and they have to deal with this not us. They have to collect documents from their addresses.

Its a ridiculous system I have to deal with.

CAN SOMEONE SUGGEST SOMETHING OR ANY PROVIDE ANY HELP?

Please don't pay for transunion
Reasons.
1) They don't provide you a detailed credit report with your name and credit score on it
2) No realtor or house owners consider transunion incomplete credit report.

Absolutely useless and I can't wait for a class action lawsuit. I'm a victim of fraud, with open police investigation. They will not let me file a dispute within the website because it keeps popping up errors. They will not direct me to the IT department. I've been trying to dispute for well over a month. Equifax is amazing had absolutely no problems. The government needs to sever ties with this company immediately.

Cette compagnie m'a offert le pire service à la clientèle de ma vie! Ils m'ont raccroché la ligne au nez plusieurs fois lorsque j'ai tenté des joindre pour réguler les informations sur mon compte. Ils me renvoyaient à un formulaire en-ligne qui ne fonctionnait pas ou me mettait dans une boucle sans fin.

Pour les appels non-raccrochés, un sondage de satisfaction était disponible à la fin, mais la ligne se coupait si vite que je n'avais même pas le temps de me rendre à mon clavier pour répondre.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi des institutions financières voudraient se fier aux informations provenant de cette compagnie médiocre. J'aimerais bien leur donner 0 étoile mais cela n'est pas possible ici, malheureusement.
