Was looking for a spot for dinner right after work. Restaurant was busy and looked promising. Ombiance appeared to be pleasant as it was a hot spot for a quick bite after work or shoppers.
Wait staff pleasant and attentive. Food.not so much. I had ordered pan seared lasagna, lots of hard noodles, little meat and lots of tomatoes sauce. My cousin had seafood linguine that came in a cereal bowl. Both meals over priced.
Short Wine list by the glass and we'll over priced for the selection they had.
Not a huge fan and wouldn't recommend for dinner or even drinks.
Not hoping back!

Everything we've had there has been delicious. The pesto bread and calamari are our favorite appetizers. The Gnocchi, Lasagna and chocolate cake are also delicious. Serving staff are friendly and keep your water topped up. Great place. We go any time we are down in the city.

The reception was the least friendly I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The hostess didn’t even try to smile or be welcoming. Just left for good 5 minutes without any explanations while we were waiting for the table. The waiters and the food slightly improved the experience but I wouldn’t go there again

Food was really bland and boring compared to before. Bolognaise wasn't good, pizza was comparable to pizza pizza, and the carpaccio was unevenly seasoned (some bites were bland, some were really salty) (beef tasted fresh at least). The Blueberry fresco was just lemon, soda water and 4-5 blueberries. Really disappointed as I was a regular here and the quality has dropped a whole lot. On the bright side, service is very friendly and quick. Water is refilled very often and waiter checks on you a lot to make sure everything is okay. Otherwise, food isn't worth it at all.

Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The food was exactly what I wanted and the waitress Cathy was so inviting and made my experience a solid 10/10

I went here with my parents and brother. My mom was the first to get her food, about 10 minutes later we asked the server if the rest of our food was on its way and why we weren’t all brought our meals at the same time. Her answer was that the restaurant was busy. Meanwhile looking around it seemed to be only at half capacity.

My mom finished her meal, and at that point we got up and walked out. Of course offered to pay for the one dish we did get. However the manager apologized and let us go without paying. Only reason I didn’t give a one star is because the manager seemed like a solid dude.

The point of going out is to enjoy a meal together, and when they can’t even bring the bread with or drinks before they bring a single pasta dish something is wrong. I hate to write negative reviews, and am typically a tolerant person, but this practically ruined our evening.

Food is good, service is good. It's a bit pricey though, especially if you have a large group

Wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be given that it was difficult to get a reservation. We were put upstairs in the back corner with one other thruple sat beside us. The pizza was quite good although most of the hot spice on the Napoli was put in the centre of the pizza. It was also a good half hour wait if not more. We were told there was a rush on Peters and that’s why it was such a delay. I certainly would return.

Wow! Where do I begin… Working and Living downtown can become very hectic and chaotic. Earlier this week I saw this restaurant while I was looking for somewhen to journal. It started to rain a little bit so I took cover at their patio bar. The hostesses were super welcoming and nice, but it was when I got seated. As soon as my server came I can see that she is scanning me and looking at me up and down. I was very nice and respectful and asked her to recommend a wine, eventually I just went with a Pinot Grigio. As I sat there the whole time no said anything to me…No one check on me or anything. And when the server finally did come to me her words went along the line of “So are you gonna eat? ” Mind you the restaurant was empty so I didn’t see the rush. I kindly asked for the bill and left. I also work with a few of Fine Dining restaurants downtown, so I have an idea on how guest should be treated.

It’s a beautiful venue. Hostess were supper nice and respectful. But that one server…. I don’t know if it was because I was a BIPOC, but I felt judged to be there. It was my first off day in about two weeks from going to
restaurants. And it would’ve been nice to not be judge.

Service was amazing as we were asked if we were doing ok many times and service was extremely polite, the food tasted amazing can't wait to go back!

Wasn’t a fan of this place at all. The burger which was supposed to be a medium rare was completely underdone. Meatballs were full of cartilage and inedible. Caesar salad was ok, and by far their only redeeming qualities were the pizza and location. Better spots in the area.

Came here from out of town, service wasn’t good, overpriced food for small portions and flavourless food also a very loud atmosphere wouldn’t recommend. Parking is terrible and the restaurant is very hard to find coming from out of town. Do not recommend the arancini balls

Went for lunch & was really excited for the food which was just ok. Service was pretty good, even though we were put upstairs in a literal corner The decor is pretty nice. Would recommend CIMA in Hamilton for a better bang for your buck & experience. Gnocchi was okay, charcuterie was simple but delicious. Thanks for having us though!

I liked the food, we ordered pepperoni and lasagna. We liked both, the service was wonderful

Went last week to have an anniversary dinner. Made a reservation for 5: 15 got there at 5: 09. We were dressed pretty casual as we were walking around the city for the day. Immediately we got looked down upon for not being dressed in fancy clothing. We sat down, table was wobbly and when we asked to sit outside because got a Monday afternoon it was pretty empty. Our request got declined. I just got one drink and left immediately. I’ve never gone into a restaurant and just felt judgment all around. Never coming back here again.

My wife and I love this place. The food is amazing, the staff are even better. We've never once felt rushed during our meal and have never had a bad experience here.

A cozy and quiet place in the very center of the city, pleased us with delicious cuisine and perfect service. Thank you very much Louis for your sensitivity and attentiveness to requests and trifles.

Edwin was my server for today and I must say he has absolutely exceptional. His work ethic was very fast but still made time to make me feel like I was still heard. Would 10/10 come back

Didn’t like the pizza that much (we ordered margarita.the problem was in the sauce, it wasn’t delicious & light. Although the dough was perfect)

& the fries was over cooked (almost burnt) + the arugula salad was good.

The waiter who served us so friendly & helpful.

We were seated almost immediately. The service was good. I ordered pasta carbonara and pizza prosciutto. Carbonara felt strange - more like a set of independent ingredients. Maybe due to a lack of any sauce. Also, the bacon was too salty. Pizza was crusty and good overall, but I still left with a sense of unacomplishment.

My spouse toonk linguini di mare and it was good. Ready to recommend.

My first experience was really bad. I had visited this place for lunch and by seeing the reviews I was exited but when my order arrived it was pure disappointment as my pizza was burnt and when eating I was all having the essence of burning. Fries and pasta was upto mark. Looking at the ambiance and price I was expecting the best but it was opp.

Everything was perfect from drinks to Main course.
We ordered Fries, Gnocchi and Mushroom Pizza and everything was great

I loved the wine! I ordered orecchiette pugliese as the main course, definitely not my favorite. The pasta was chewy and not easy to digest. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with sensitive digestive system.
