Very pleasant Italian restaurant in the middle of Yorkville, Toronto.
Good food, good service, good atmosphere. A little expensive though but it worth it at least once.
It has two stories, washroom is located upstairs.

Love their atmosphere and I always order Mafaldi Funghi dish. One of the best pastas I’ve ever had

Server took plate from table too quick. Even she tried to remove plate before customer finish eating. My next customer was also complaining. Also, the server asked me to pay bill before serve my dessert and coffee. I asked other server if other customers are waiting table? But she said no.

“BE CAREFUL “firstly The food is great.we were the group of 7 and, in the bill we asked the servant did you included the tip and he said NO, however the Resturant was dark and we didn’t check and we paid 18-20% tips, after we left restaurant and checked the bill, we saw the tips was already included,
Yupp the servant made more money than restaurant,

I went last evening to dine in this cozy Italian restaurant. The pasta was what we tried and it was fresh and tasty. I ordered the pasta dish with shrimp and an expresso martini. The servers are polite and idk how they work in a tight space but they did a great job.

Good italian food, but nothing that knocked my socks off. Poor service - served our app to a neighboring table and didn't apologize.

Been going there for years. Never disappoints. Fungi Di Mafieldi and Risotto Nervosa both are top dishes and must try.

Appetizers were good. My gf and I shared the baked Asiago cheese with crustini and the kale salad. The risotto entree was also amazing for my gf, however the nduja pizza was cooked poorly. Although the flavors were there, it flopped when you try to pick it up and was runny in the middle center. The nduja was tasty but barely had any on top of the pizza. But it was unfortunate the fact that it wasn’t cooked long enough and when we asked to put it back in longer they ended up just making a new one the exact same way prior.

One of worse experiences. Flies everywhere and on our food. And i tried to ask for help and no response. I tried use essential oil and immediately waitress came asked us to put away scent. What to do with those flies while trying to land on my food? !
Never come again! Unless you wanna share your food with flies dip.

We sat on the patio and it was pleasantly lively, and the food was delicious.

However it took a very long time was our waiter to take our order, and an even longer time for them to bring each dish out. We saw many other tables that were seated after us all get their meals first, finish and even pay as we continued to wait. We didn’t want to pester the waiter but we kindly asked twice only to be told that it was coming soon. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes to get the appetizer, then another 45 to get our entrees. This was after waiting nearly 30 minutes for someone to take our order. I was ready to cancel and leave after the appetizer but they kept saying it was coming soon. It was frustrating nonetheless.

The food was amazing but I’m not sure why we received such bad service. The waiter clearly knew how long he had kept us too.

Food is good. But arranging all Asian customers in a small room on the second floor while first floor still has plenty of seats that makes me very uncomfortable.

Their mushroom truffle pasta is seriously *chef's kiss*. I've tried similar dishes at other restaurants but this one left the strongest impression on me. The careful balance of truffle, not overpowering but rather a delicate whisper that added depth and a symphony of flavors to every forkful. I can't stop thinking about its beautiful taste and I can't wait to come back here again.

Small outside not very comfortable to sit.
The food is delicious and the service is friendly and prompt. Always get their mushroom pasta and kale salad plus their Aperol spritz is the absolute best.

The place it’s cozy, small, cute. Very well located in an area that feels like you are on vacation in Europe. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious! I’ve tried the Cacio & Pepe, Lasagna, and other pastas that I forgot the name. Tried the chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream, the tiramisu… Everything is delicious! Mouthwatering just by writing this. I will be always coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know!

Everything is ridiculously expensive for the portions and quality.
We ordered the bruschetta, $14 for literally 2 slices of bread, and 3 tomatoes chopped on top.
We also ordered Mortadella pizza, which was very nice, though it had something super salty on top that was off-putting.
The Spaghetti Alla Norma was awful. Had 3 chops of eggplants and lacked season salt and pepper. It was the definition of lunch of suffering!
Every time the waiter wanted to pour us water, he spilled half of it on the table. The service was absolutely meh, and at the end, he stopped us about the amount of tip and asked for an explanation! I mean, WHAT? !
There were flies and a lot of noise from the kitchen and other servers joking around like a cheap diner.
Overall, so not worth the hype. Overpriced. Rude and untidy staff. Bad food.

100% Authentic italian food and atmosphere good quantity serve and nice staff we went there for our 5th wedding anniversary and we had a memorable moment they gave us a special high bar table just for too with a nice Yorkville view they skip us from the big line. Love this place! Take your love onr your mom your dad your child they will love it too. Best pizza lasagna best tiramisu good size to share

Came here for the famous truffle pasta. It is indeed very flavorful but I think the noodles are a bit too al dente. The margarita pizza is on point but somehow the dough is quite dry. The space upstairs is really crowded that you need to be extra careful not to bump into other’s tables when passing by. Overall it is good flavor but if you came here with high expectations like me, you might be disappointed.

Very nice place, but service was very slow and the waiter we had was okay, the food came after 45 mins. I ordered the nervosa risotto it was very mid and I got more full for the beer and it wasn’t very hot

The truffle mushroom pasta and nervosa risotto were so perfect and fulfilling, definitely recommend them. Pizza was also fresh and tasty. Overall easy 5 stars!

The pesto pasta was a tad too bitter for me. The mushroom pasta was better, but felt there’s something missing.

Your hostess is terrible. I've had 2 bad experiences from them. Their wait list is not correct, we were waiting for almost 1 hour. Some people came after us and were seated before us. I asked her but she was so rude and she said their came early. I saw them after us. When they were giving phone number I was there.

Our favourite pizza restaurant in Toronto. Their pizza is top notch but other items on the menu are great as well. Always friendly servers that want to help with any needs you have.

Ordered the lasagna which was delicious and fresh tasting. Whole table throughly enjoyed their mains and dessert.

Tables go quick!

I have been dining at Nervosa for years, and I think yesterday was my last time for a while.
I love this place and wanted to bring my boyfriend as I’ve been raving about it to him.
First off, the server seemed very inattentive and like we were wasting his time, very rushed.
Our appetizer never arrived, but he was apologetic, mistakes happen.
We were sat next to a table of kids, who shattered a glass on me during their meal. Not the fault of the restaurant staff, but I didn’t have a single server; manager; anyone ask if I was okay after having glass on my legs, or help at all. My boyfriend started cleaning up the glass himself before someone at least sweeped it up. Apart from a busser helping to sweep, we were completely ignored.
I work in service too so I understand these things, but it was an overall bad time.
We promptly paid the bill and left. I was really disappointed by my experience this time.sucks because I really liked this place.

Very nice atmosphere and pretty restaurant. Had the Funghi pasta but was flavourless and room temperature though. Overhyped

Bravo! Yes Chef!

First time there, ordered Pesto entree and a side of free range organic chicken. Pesto sauce and pasta was fantastic and a full plate. The clean meat chicken breast was served hot in a hot dish. The two combined was perfect and I wanted to lick the plate. But I restrained myself in public. My Mama had the lasagna and a glass of red. We shared some food, and the lasagna was also very good! Very thin noodles, and lots of full filling and flavor, all served hot!

We sat inside on the first floor dining room, with lots of busy activity as you can see the kitchen and all the staff busy at work. They had a great fun vibe going, and you could see them working together to keep things moving. The restaurant was full, and lots fun energy buzzing around. Big windows were open to the pretty Yorkville streets, lots of fresh air breezing through.

This was our first visit today. We started with the Funghi pizza, which was absolutely fabulous! This pizza is a must try if you like roasted mushrooms on a bed of delicious cheese.mmmm thin crust too! Then we had the Lasagna which was beautifully presented and very tasty, but should have been hotter. Unfortunately it was served warm, but the upside is a great authentic delicious Italian recipe.
We were sitting inside on the 2nd floor. The server was very pleasant and attentive. So overall, it was a very nice dinner!
You should try them if you are in the vicinity.
