Trattoria Timone Ristorante

I just got back from hosting my children’s baptism celebratory dinner at Trattoria Timone. Everything was fabulous, top notch.

Kasia helped me plan the event. She was extremely responsive, kind and accommodating. Exactly what an event coordinator should be.

The food was outstanding and the service was a 10/10. We went with a pre-fixed menu and added a pasta course. Everything that came out was so delicious I forgot to take pictures, except for the main course because I was in awe when it arrived.

Thanks to Kasia and the wonderful staff at the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back and recommending your location for events!

Nice classy atmosphere. The service and food were ok. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and the flavour was a little dull.

My husband made dinner reservations here with his staff (14 of us). He owns a local optical store. We ordered apps and wine to start. I was happy at first with the service.we were located in the split room at the back it was cozy for our party. As the bruschetta, crab cakes and salads came in we were waiting for the wine to be poured. They decided to open the 3 bottles that we ordered randomly along the table. As the server came to me to taste the wine. I was in the middle of my first bite she asked if I wanted to taste. I said sure. I was going to have the bite. Her comment to me was "Are you going to pretend that you know what you are doing? " I was so taken back. I am usually witty in these situations. This time instant embarrassment came over me. I couldn't believe a server would make such a comment. I kept this to myself and let the night proceed. Two lessons learned tonight. (1) she should have kept her lousy comment to herself (2) I will never be having a meal there again. After all of us ordering entrees, desserts and coffee even sambuca shots. This will be our last visit there. Thank you to her for what was supposed to be a great experience with my husband's team. A disappointing one for me.

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants in Mississauga and the staff is amazing. Keith helped us out and he was great! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Great food, great service, great drinks and speed. Food I had wasn't seasoned enough, but it may have just been the style. Italian food is often simplistic.

The food from trattoria Timone is amazing!
However, the service is where they are lacking.
Even though they requested we be on time for our table, we waited an additional 20 minutes for our table and saw 2 other parties seated before us even when they came after us.
When I approached the hostess, she said she was in the process of calling me. However, no call came through and she had previously told me to wait outside and she would come and get me. So not sure why she wouldn’t follow through with that.
The service was ok. Nothing special even though we were celebrating a birthday. However, their saving grace is the food. It is amazing. Especially their seafood. It is a shame about the service. Especially since their food is so good

The food the service- everything is perfect. The prices are quite high and you have to order a minimum meal package right now, but it is definitely worth it!

Best seafood! So worth the drive. They have a great menu, though it smaller now during covid. The seafood salad is amazing! Grilled lobster, shrimp, scallops and calamari. It's fantastic, tender and perfectly seasoned. Great date night place!

I had an early dinner with my sister for her birthday on the patio. Service was great and the food was amazing. This was my second visit. Well worth the price!

Delicious food have never eaten inside the restaurant but has been one of our go to Italian spots through the pandemic for take out. Highly recommend the seafood linguine!
