DONT TRUST THIS INSURANCE COMPANY!
I bought a supervisa insurance paid 2months advance before my parents arrived. My parents got a work permit upon arrival so they were given Alberta health card. I requested a refund for payments I made on both policy since JULY but they gave me so much excuses and let me wait for 6 weeks only to tell me there’s no refund! IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY WITH VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! IF YOU DONT REFUND MY MONEY I WILL REALLY FILE A COMPLAINT!

My experience with Travel Shield was excellent. They were responsive, helpful, and guided me through the health insurance process for my parents super visa. I appreciate their friendly and efficient services.

I paid 1154 CAD all at once for my father who wanted to stay for 6 months in Canada, and when I claimed something around 300 in March and I'm still waiting.
Every time I call they say it's under the process!
Is it a Science Rocket that you are still processing it? !

I am very disappointed with them. I’ve a claim submitted since October and we’re now in end March. Whenever I call the person don’t have any recollection of my previous calls. It has been very frustrating over the last months. I was happy with their service 2 years ago, but since they started using global excel, it has been very hard. I had purchased insurance with them over the last 3 years, but unfortunately this will be my last one because I rather pay more but have a better service.

Some days they keep me on hold for over an hour and hang out. Last time, the agent opened a case under someone else policy just because instead of ours.

If you like a reliable insurance don’t purchase this one!

Insurances specially for super visa, travel tourist, health insurance please contact them. I am preferring jass (Associate) she is so helpful you can do changes anytime with policy. Get quotes from somewhere else they will beat 100%.

Very bad experience steer clear, don’t bother claiming they will find any reason to make it difficult for you. Long time customer and claimed once, they take your money and run!

Yea obviously 3 star review, no wonder! And wonderful how they attack people who have had previous experience with them! Not one but more than one reviewer with fraud and scam! Customer is always right you should take that saying to put ur review up!

They don’t even deserve the one star honestly; 100% scam and fraud. Customer service horrible, nothing match between their word’s and policy. Never recommended even to my enemy.

Horrible customer service. They talk over you, interrupt you, don’t reply emails. Whenever you change the policy effective date they actually cancel your policy and create a new one under a new number so that if ever you want to change the date again, they will tell you the policy is cancelled and charge you everytime. I’d rather pay more somewhere else. Stay away if you want to avoid hassle.

This is worsts company under my experience I have claimed $26000 all most 7months done they harissas I got every week hospital call me I call 100 time but they don’t answer or call back I do not recommend do not waste your money and time

Bought 4-5 Super Visa policies through them for my mother during last 5 years. Price is cheaper then competitors, customer service is the best. My mother visited couple doctors with minor concerns - as far as I remember insurance companies have reimbursed her. All policies followed the agreement and were reimbursed for early cancellation. One day I was looking for a quote from my other insurance agent and cheapest he could find was over $500 what they could offer. Guess what, he asked me for their contact =) I am very happy with the service provided.

Super visa was not approved but was given visitor visa instead. They charged cancellation fee (250$) for policy cancellation as I could not provide super visa refusal letter. When the policy says its super visa insurance how can you charge cancellation fee if the super visa is not issued. They really know how to play with words.

Really good & friendly service. I have taken Super visa insurance for my mon and the insurance pricing is comparatively good. I would recommend Travel shied insurance.
