Absolutely terrible service. I was charged for my room and then charged for the room an additional two times by the Travelodge in Kapuskasing. When I called to resolve the situation, I was told there is a new system, it was a mistake. My money would be back in 3-5 business days. I was instantly charged for a third time. And have tried repeatedly to call them back. When I do call them back, someone answers the phone and leaves it off the hook without saying anything. The first time I thought it was a mistake, so tried again. It happened at least 5-6 times. I don't know about you, but I don't have an additional 500$ during the holiday season. I don't have an additional 500$ on a good day.
Great, quite location. Very nice and clean room. Amazing, accommodating customer service at the front desk. Pet friendly with a big walking area around. Hot breakfast provided. Affordable.
I was greeted warmly as I entered the lobby last night. As usual, the service was excellent. This morning, Kainath saw me and came over to greet me even though she wasn't on shift. It shows that the staff is friendly on or off shift. I always look forward spending the night here.
This hotel’s in town location is perfect and quiet tucked away from highway traffic noise. The rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast foods included hot waffles, eggs and sausage as well as numerous other options to suit every taste. The 10% discount at O’Briens restaurant was a welcome bonus. The food and service there was great! The staff are kind and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
Very friendly staff that go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Always our go to place to stay when we’re in the area. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.
The Female front desk agent in the morning with glasses that checked me into my reservation was exceptional to deal with and provided fast friendly and excellent service. Room was clean and cozy with all the amenities and comfort you could want. Also the breakfast had quite a great selection and quality.
It's a bit off the highway, but they allow pets and they have a big picnic area right behind them. The rooms have supportive but soft beds, and some very comfy carpeting.
The girl who tried to check us in was very stupid girl was not at the workplace for 20 minutes, I had to look for her her name was Karen she refused to show me the number and told me to leave
Wasn’t sure at first. The place looked a little dodgy from the outside but was very surprised after entering the lobby. All the rooms and interior of the building appear to be newly renovated and after checking-in the attendant handed my colleague and I each a cold beer! After working in 33degrees weather all day under a hot sun and biting black flies, nothing could possibly taste better than a free cold one!
Froze all night! The cold air (20 C below zero) was coming in through the air conditioner that the motel did not take out for the winter! They should have sealed the air conditioner with plastic to prevent the cold air from coming into the room. The wooden box that covers the air conditioner does not stop that cold wind from coming inside the room. The cold air current was so strong that it was moving the curtain! I absolutely froze all night! Could not sleep more than three hours due to the cold temperature. The bed mattress was cold, the floor was freezing cold, the air inside the room was freezing cold, the bathroom was freezing cold. The agent at the front desk said their old boiler system took a lot of time to heat the rooms and that nothing could be done to heat my room. Their thermostat is pre-regulated, pre-controlled by the owner, so even if I raised the thermostat, the room did not receive more heat. DO NOT STAY at Kapuskasing Travelodge in winter! You will freeze if you do!
We have stayed here a few times now and we would definitely recommend it. Friendly service, great prices and pet friendly. The only thing which would make it better is putting a Kleenex box in the room.
