Travelodge by Wyndham Niagara Falls Fallsview

I really had a bad experience and I do not wish anyone to pass it. At the reception, the receptionist named Ammy denied me the use of the swimming pool, despite that I am vaccinated, she did not respect that it was my birthday (December 26) and that I have been a customer of this hotel for 7 years. I felt discriminated and unwelcome. Her lack of customer service skill are deplorable. I do not recommend anyone to book at this hotel.

Excellent staff made this trip extra special. The service at breakfast was amazing, the welcome desk was amazing and they helped me find an item I left behind and got it ready for pickup by courier. The hotel is a bit out dated but the location and price is worth it.

It was nice and clean room, view was nice from balcony. Bath tub didnt drain well but other than that no issues.

The front desk receptionist was very rude, not friendly with kids and during the night my wife have seen bed bugs walking on the pillow, So we had to wash all bed sheets and covers to sleep.

Overall the location is great but I would not come back again.

The rooms and hotel are very outdated, the service at the front desk was courteous but could do nothing for the problematical wifi, plumbing, or heaters. The room was freezing cold, the room had to be changed by our request as the shower was not draining. The wifi was horrible and the paid parking was a challenge. Not worth the rates at all! Do not spend money at this location everything inside is falling apart!

This isn't the Hilton or Sheraton. If you book this hotel, be prepared to step into the 90s, mirrored walls and all. We paid $290 last minute on a weekend so I can't complain too much. The service was great and the view was okay-ish! Just manage expectations!

I stayed there for 4 nights, the room was okay but they didn’t change the towels and the bedsheets.
The location is amazing, close to everything you need

Les chambres sont assez vieilles mais correctes. En revanche, peu de prises et ne fonctionnent pas toutes.

Excellent budget choice for a family 2 night get away to the falls. Great location to Clifton Hill and the Falls. Stayed here twice in one month. It’s definitely not fancy, but if you are looking for a clean room with friendly staff and a short walk to all the action. I recommend checking this place out.

Great service, the location is excellent. It would have been a 5 star review except that in the middle of the night, there was a loud sound from the walls, it sounded like an animal was squashed between the walls and was trying to get out. Couldn't sleep peacefully. The sound disappeared in the morning

Very old and run down. Wallpaper peeling from the walls and stains on walls.
Bathroom dirty and under stocked in soaps and towels.
Gym closed- no mention of this on website. Looked for a hotel with gym on purpose.
Door key pad stopped working a few hours after checking in so had to go get desk staff every time I wanted in my room.
Wifi terrible. Didn’t work most of our stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Travellidge Niagara Falls hotel and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel itself is quite nice, with well-maintained rooms that were clean and comfortable.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast provided at the hotel. It was truly outstanding.

Very out dated. Not very clean. Staff wasn't very knowledgeable. Booked romance package then when I got there they told me they didn't have anything I was promised. Worst bed I've ever slept in. Extremely uncomfortable. Only decent part was location and pool was big and pretty clean.

Wouldn't recommend!

We booked two rooms in this hotel and both look like they hadn't been updated since the 70s. The wallpaper was peeling, the tiles in the the bathroom were broken, and there were gaping holes in the drywall in the shower and room. Various plugs and lights also didn't work, and house keeping was not included (we also found hair in the bathroom so the previous cleaning wasn't done well either). This hotel should not be allowed to carry the "Travelodge" name as it does a major disservice to the brand, and you would be better of staying at a cheaper roadside motel. For all this, we paid $300/night due to demand for rooms near the Falls.

It's worth it just because it's a 10 minute walk to the falls. Decent rooms. Indecent terraces. Swimming pool so and so. Parking available for CAD 15 per day

Go run, save your money and time away from here! Gave them a heads up that we’re checking in late, and they gave us a room on 205 that literally smells like
DEAD RAT and URINE!

So we asked for another room and they gave us room on 315 which are the keys are not working, called them on the phone that keys are not working and the lady on the front desk hung up twice ended up that we had to run down again twice to try to get the keys fix! They had to send the security again and when he opened the door, turns out that THE ROOM ALREADY HAS PEOPLE CHECKED IN AND SLEEPING! Talk about privacy? You’re not gonna get it here! What a nightmare! Only the security is doing the work and apologized. It took almost an hour for them to get a room for us.

The lady on the front desk is not supposed to be there, looks like she just woke up and doesnt want to get bothered, poor customer service! What a terrible and filthy place to check rin!

Though the motel doesn’t look very appealing from the outside, we found the place to be clean with well appointed rooms. A nice place, close to the falls and attractions for a reasonable price.

Rooms need updating, but otherwise the rest was excellent. Third time visiting this hotel.

Hotel is good but the girl Ms. Avneet at Concierge kept our Canadian dollars as she said that she doesn't have change as we booked our helicopter ride from her and even after reminding her she didn't returned our money. And as you know when you are traveling to foreign country every single pie is valuable.

If you are looking for an upscale, updated, new, fresh, clean, 5-star hotel, this is NOT the hotel for you. If you are looking for a beautiful view, close to all attractions, on a budget, and don’t have high expectations, this is the hotel for you. The hotel is outdated and rundown. Has a weird old smell throughout the building. The rugs are retro and dirty. Walking barefoot in our room grossed me out. They say no smoking but my balcony was covered in cigarette butts & joint roaches when we arrived. We would smell marijuana constantly just sitting on our balcony but at least we never smelled it in our rooms or the building. There is no maid services. We had to make trips to the desk to ask for everything we needed. (Towels, toilet paper, tissues, cups, etc.) Parking is super scarce, especially at night when tourist use the hotel parking as a paid parking. We were charged $15 a night to use their parking lot. One night we were almost unable to find a spot because of all the tourists parking in the hotel parking lot. Our air conditioner was on max and we never came back to a cold room. It seems like you have control over your room temperature but I think the hotel controls it. The hallway was colder than our room. It always felt stuffy after returning. They have a breakfast buffet in the morning. We always smelled the bacon but never was intrigued to look or try it. I gave this hotel 3 stars because of the location and view. If it didn’t have that it would of been a 1 star. Hopefully they update and renovate this hotel soon. So much potential for this location.

We stayed there for 2 nights and honestly the staff was so amazing. Specially the front desk, Even one of the girl naming Avi️ helped us, as we cannot speak english well! She talked to us in french language. The local bus stops are really nearby the hotel. However, staff is so amazing and the place is too good, and balcony doesn’t gives a fallsview but a riverside view for sure. So, I recommend to people its a lovely place

I recently stayed at Travelodge by Wyndham with two adults and three kids. The pros were the spacious room and the convenient location near the falls, Clifton Hill, and other attractions. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, as there were spider webs and dust in every corner. The ceiling, walls, carpet, and curtains were extremely dirty, and the furniture and bathroom tools seemed outdated. Additionally, there was constant noise at night, making it challenging to sleep due to vibrations, vibrating windows, loud AirCond, and a room door that didn't close tightly, allowing light to come through the gaps. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but considering the amount I paid, I expected better cleanliness and comfort.

Only positive thing I will say about this place is its good location.

The management in charge of running this place are aliens.

Toilet and bathtub got flooded in my room.

No drinking water is supplied.

No hot water in the hot tub/jacuzzi.

Pool water way too cold.

No one ever came in to clean my room or check it and fix the flooding bathtub.

Exercise room closed down

Game room closed down.

Bald headed Moron staff member decides also to close the only facilities left open early in order to "put dangerous chem8cals that can kill you" (that's a quote)
