Treasure Hunt

Honestly a pretty great place. Good employees, good area and lots of stuff. The place is called Treasure Hunt so of course you're not going to find something every single time. If you shop through each aisle, it's possible to find something. Only negative criticism is that sometimes the sticker placement on items is horrible and a pain to get off and fitting rooms aren't really clean.

Sold us a queen bed frame and "queen" mattress and the measurements were mismatched when I tried to put it on, and refused to help resolve the issue despite it not having been used either on the grounds of it being over 30 days, which was how long the delivery took

This was the most disappointing experience. It was akin to a dirty garage sale… not even slightly what I expected. We entered, did a loop, and left immediately - there was nothing worth looking at. (We went hoping to find some cute home decor or accessories). Don’t waste your time.

They advertise massive discounts but then set ridiculous original prices so the final price really isn't a deal. Lots of damaged and opened packaging.
Gets a second star because if you're patient, there are rare deals that can be found.

Absolutely ridiculous. Everything is put out all haphazardly, garbage everywhere, and the staff is very rude. I do not recommend this location for Treasure Hunt. Not to mention, the customer service is very poor.

One of the best places to grab the cheapest items you want! I bought safety shoes from Walmart for 90$ and i found the same shoes for 20$ in here.

Super nice and friendly staff, so that’s 5 stars, but the place itself isn’t as good of a value as say Krazy Binz can be. Some of the prices marked on stuff are really expensive and though it’s like 50% off of those in certain sections, it’s not that cheap. Worth checking out as they do have a variety of things, but not everything is worth buying.

Thought I'd check out this store. Sad to say most of it is junk. Items bought by the company that other companies were probably going to scrap. I get selling slightly damaged items, however, when integral parts are missing or the slight damage completely makes the item useless I don't know why they would try selling to customers. Will not ever be back and don't recommend this place. Not to mention the staff are rude.

Watch for prices.
Some of the item are more than Walmart prices.

These lamps in the images are 50% off, still they are twice as expensive as Walmart or other grocery stores.

Such a awful experience. They say there prices are half off but they are ridiculously overpriced. Customer service is also awful. Don’t waste anytime here not worth the time.

The tag listed the price at 1.99 from walmart. At the register they said their price was $5.250% mark up. Do your dd.

A year or 2 years ago, this place was quite good with tons of selections from clothing, toys, blankets and lots of things. This year was the worst. It's so sad how this place has came up. Selection has gone down the hill, mostly broken things being sold. Some clothing that even has stains on are being sold for $9 even if its sold for 40-50% off.some are used. Very disappointed.

This store used to be one of my favourites to bargain hunt, but since it’s been in the new location it is horrible. It’s disgusting, bathrooms are gross, product is just thrown all over the shelves haphazardly, and worst of all they prices on the stickers are overpriced, they want you to think you are getting a good deal but it definitely is not.

They advertise everything as 50% off, but their prices are triple (or more!) of what you'll pay elsewhere and it's all final sale so there's no recourse if the item is missing components or doesn't work. Example: wireless charging docks for phones were $80. But even after the 50% off "discount" its still twice what you'll pay on Amazon or other sites. And no returns!

They need to learn how to talk to customers, pathetic staff, rude behavior. One lady named Fernaz or Fernas.was so rude and started misbehave. The way of her talking was not professional at all. If you hire these type of people as your staff.soon you will lose your customers.
The other branches are way better than this one.

Place is a dump. Low quality old items that you would find at a bad garage sale.waste of a drive.

Had high hope for this place. Felt like a collection of left over stuff that fell off the back of a truck.

Also.and this probably would help you tons. Try cleaning up the place. Nothing was in order when going through clothing. Said med sz but tag lg.and it was in the xl section. Im not talking one or two pieces of clothes. All of them were so mixed up. I gave up and went to Value Village. Which i suggestion heavily. Sorry TH.

Terrible customer service! I last went on December 7th recently. I was the last customer and was charged for everything i bought. However, one of my items was missing so i called them because i live far away and they said there is nothing they could do about it.i told them they can check the cctv camera to make sure i didn't take it and they said they will check and call back.its been almost a week and they haven't replied.i tried speaking with the supervisor but they still haven't replied or updated. Non co-operative staff. Make sure you have everything before you leave!

They Sell items that cannot be tested in store (claim it’s a safety hazard but safe to test at home) if this is the case they should be testing the items themselves before selling anything to the public. Cashiers are rude when you are returning an item because it’s an inconvenience (what about the inconvenience to the customer that has to take the item home to test and then return it)

They pack broken items and sell them. Do not buy any thing without checking it, the staff treat with the customers very rudly, bad customer service

Only downside is people smelling like really bad BO. Other than that, really nice place. Can always find something.

Its worst treasure hunt among all others. Staff is worst. Employer named Tammy treats client like she has no manners. We just bought bed and it was in 2 separate boxes so manager as well as Tammy asked to pay double prices as they scan 2 boxes but item is only 1.they have lots of stuff bcz 5hey dont do deal even half the stuff is not in boxes so after 50% off it ends up like full price in Walmart. They dont want it to go so they keep getting junk and none of there electronics works so now they did put not to open. They dont take electronics back in 5 days like other treasure hunt. Lots of merchandise. A bit messy and only 1 cashier helping and chatting with her customer when I and another shopper were waiting in line. A few employees walking around behind cashier. They noticed we were there, but did not help.

I wish I took a photo but they have an office slightly above the change rooms with window views towards the entire main area, including a clear view of people trying on clothing. I felt incredibly uncomfortable seeing that when I was trying some tops on. I also noticed there’s a camera in eyes view within the change room as well.not sure if it’s a 360 view but I’m sure if it was, I’m sure they could get a clear view of people changing as well! Shocking.

Aside from that, the place is an absolute dump. I have found some brand new products for super cheap but it’s very slim to none. There are other treasure hunt locations out of town that are in MUCH better condition.and I suggest going to one of them instead.

This is a bargain hunter's dream. The inventory is constantly changing and no one really knows what brand names they will find when they arrive at the store. Remember, a liquidator helps provide solution to inventory problems by buying and marketing merchandise from businesses that are in distress situations, like fire, insurance or freight claims, bankruptcies, receivership, buybacks, overproduction or cancelled orders. A business doesn't make a profit selling to Treasure Hunt, but at least get something back rather than not getting anything at all. I've read here that sometimes the prices for some items are just as high as in other surrounding stores like Walmart or Winners. That's because liquidators like Treasure Hunt recognize the importance of brand and label control, so it tries to be sensitive to prices charged by other retailers operating in the same community. Like for example, if TH acquires 30 new brand-name jeans because of a cancelled order, it will try and sell them at prices competitive with other retailers. Regarding the condition of the store or that merchandise is all over the place or broken or missing parts, I'd bet it has to do with how the shoppers treat the stuff. Staff will be minimum to keep prices low, so don't expect things in order all the time (and l'm sure the staff try their best). Lf you don't mind this, great, you can get deals of up to 70% off retail. Who doesn't like saving money? If it bothers you, nobody's stopping you to shop elsewhere.

Store worker though it was appropriate to yell at a 7 year old for standing on a treadmill that was not blocked or a sign to keep off. Only a sign on a post several feet away. When I confronted her she began to yell at me that my child should of read the sign she could not see from the treadmill. Still trying to get contact management.

This place is always so junky with stuff all over the place. Toys in the aisles, clothes on the floor, food that is expired. TREASURE HUNT? Very high prices for products that were returned to places like Walmart, Costco etc that do not work when you get them home. You can buy the same product in Walmart cheaper when on special and can return the product to the store and get your money back if it does not work. Staff are only working with what corporate dictates to them, Customers have verbally abused the staff which is not fair. Visited again last night and the MANAGEMENT was so rude to customers she even had the cashier shaking.

Treasure Hunt in Cambridge is a warehouse type store which has a revolving inventory of products. It is quite large with a good selection of clothing and small appliances. It also has toys, tools, bedding, matresses, and a host of other products.

The prices can be good. However, items can be expensive, even more so than some large department stores. The store is quite cluttered and messy.

In my experience the staff members are friendly and helpful.

The store is a worthwhile venture, but shop with discernment.

Gave it a 3 because it is what it is. The store is not kept well, and boxes for products are mangled; but everything is dirt cheap, which makes up for that in a way. Plus it's fun to browse around and find a good deal.

What a dump! Their version of having items out is to have bin after bin of whatever items they can find thrown in there. Aisles are blocked with random junk that is just laying around. If you do manage to find something despite the terrible set up buyer beware. Everything I have purchased that required batteries had had to be returned. Annoying to have to make a trip back. Most of what I saw on the shelves and in those bins looks broken. I shop there less and less. I keep hoping they will clean up their store. It just seems to be getting worse. Also, what's with a store that big not letting customers use the washroom? Whoever manages this store is doing a terrible job.

That was the worst shopping experience that I have had in a very long time. Is it a store or a very poorly run daycare? Kids in, on, and under everything. Boxes, bags and hangers everywhere. Parents clearly putting things in their jackets while children run wild distracting everyone. We will not be back. I love the hunt, but that is dangerous. As a grandmother of 6, I know kids and that was planned chaos. There is absolutely no way that that many kids all decided to act like animals all at the same time. This is the reason the prices have gone up.we are paying for all the stock they lose to these people.
