We recently used Tree Doctors for tree trimming and tree removal. Our tree was growing out of our fence and thought the fence would be damaged due to the removal. It was removed with such care. So impressed by their service and professionalism. Would highly recommend them.

Was a bit disappointed with this company. The workers who came were amazing and courteous but scheduling and management were highly disorganized. We were told we would be told when they would arrive days in advance and I woke up to a text while they were already in my driveway. The stump was only 24 hours and I have to work. Had to call in sick and reschedule my shift last minute because of it. Not to mention the total we were quoted did not include tax. I should have researched more but wasn’t sure if the service was taxable and it should be included in the quote considering money being a problem for everyone and budgeting is important.

I hired tree doctors for tree removal and stump grinding for a tree in my front yard that was shading out all of my other landscaping. No permit was required due to the size of the tree.

The process was seamless from beginning to end. Gordon came out and looked at the tree and I was given a quote. I received an email alerting me when the tree removal was scheduled for. The crew came and expertly removed my tree. The tree was cut down, and cut into logs, chipped and yard was cleaned up, all within 30 mins.

A few weeks later, a different crew came by to grind the stump. They were also quick and clean, leaving a small pile of mulch over the site of the tree, which I then used to spread over my garden beds for winter prep.

I was emailed an invoice and was able to pay online, which was very convenient and secure, as I do not like to give my credit card information out over the phone to reps.

Overall, this process was extremely easy and they did such a great job. The price was fair and the crews were skilled and friendly.

If you need a tree removed, I would ONLY recommend Tree Doctors!

I received a dangerous tree order from the city of Toronto and had 30 days to remediate. I called Tree Doctors and a few other companies. Tree Doctors - promptly provided a quote and clearly communicated with me. I knew what a fair price for the work was and Tree Doctors quote was aligned with this. From the time I called them until the time the work was completed it was about 2 weeks and well within the required order to comply. Glen, Bruno, Lynn, and the entire Tree Doctors team were always responsive, polite, on time, communicative, and did the work as needed and agreed. I highly recommend Tree Doctors!

Glen did the estimate and was very prompt supplying it. The two guys that came, Sean and Martin, were very professional, friendly, considerate and willing to answer all my questions. Sean knew what he wanted to do to prune but still took a couple of small requests from me. They were both very careful not to damage any parts of my garden in our small yard and did a good clean up. Ou tree was well taken care of. This is the second time we have used Tree Doctors Services and will definitely call again in the future.

We required an arborist report and tree protection plan for our upcoming renovation in Toronto. Tree Doctors provided the best quote by far. They visited the property promptly and delivered the report within a week of contacting them. Serg was excellent, took his time in responding and provided valuable advice after delivering the report. Highly recommended for those requiring tree permits.

Just watched them throw their Tim Hortons garbage out of their truck while they were parked illegally.

Had an arborist report done to remove a leaning tree. Their specialist said the tree was healthy so we had to pay cash in lieu for trees not re-planted for taking down the one tree (a new city by-law in Mississauga). We moved ahead with the tree removal (did not use Tree Doctors) However when the tree was taken down the tree was clearly dead on the inside, and we were lucky it didn't go down during the wind storm last month. Had to chase and follow up with the arborist to update the report so hopefully we can go back to the city, but it was like they were avoiding us, had to call daily and made sure the changes were made reflected reality - (the specialist was saying it's normal for the tree to look like that for this kind of species? I'm no tree specialist but I highly doubt that, and it was clear they were trying to justify his mistake). It was just a pain having to deal with this on top with everything else we have going on. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1, because their receptionist was actually really helpful and communicative, so I really appreciated that.

I wish to thank Vlad, Vlad and Treshawn for the wonderful work they performed on my yard. They came on time and pruned the trees and once they had finished they asked me if it was to my satisfaction. The clean up afterwards was superb. Thank you for your care and expertise.

I am very satisfied and impressed with the crew cutting down my 40' blue spruce tree. They are properly equipped to do the work. They arrived on time and finished the work in an hour. After that, they cleaned up the whole area before leaving. An excellent job overall.

Highly recommend with no doubt, the employees of Tree Doctors did a great job, at the end they left everything super clean. They were punctual and really fast in removing the tree.

They gave me a quick reasonable estimate after a next day in person meeting. Then on the day of they did immaculate work and more clean up of the area than expected. They even blew the sawdust and debris from my yard! Highly recommend.

I'm the Facilities Manager for an Historic Church. I've retained Tree Doctors twice in the past 2 years to provide Arborist services as required by the city in order to excavate our foundations for waterproofing projects adjacent to city owned trees. In both projects, Tree Doctors prepared Tree Protection Plans, supervision of the excavation to ensure proper pruning of roots to protect the trees in the tree protection zone, and preparing reports to the city. They have conducted themselves professionally, worked around our schedule and responding to any concerns or issues promptly. The crew took down a huge tree in the corner of my yard. They did a wonderful job. Had the tree down in no time. They were professional and polite. Cleanup was thorough. Amazing job! They took a lot of branches off our tree to make it safe, but done so artfully it doesn't even look like it's been recently cut. Beautiful work! Real care & love for the trees and definitely will not chop up your trees or take off more than necessary. These guys are artists, the real thing.

Tree Doctors did a great job clearing our yard or overgrown brush, including taking down a self seeded tree we should have been dealt with a couple years back. Very quick turnaround on the quote, competitive pricing, job was done when they said it would be. Clean site.

Considering the situation, the cost was very reasonable, and lower than some other places we called. We are very happy with the work Tree Doctors performed for us, and we would definitely give them a call again if we needed any tree services.

Excellent, prompt service at a reasonable price. I had an emergency issue-a heavy branch split and hanging where it could injure a neighbor if it fell. The team showed up-in ten minutes! -gave me a quote and less than 90 minutes later, the problem was completely gone: the tree trimmed and the area cleared from both yards and hauled away. They did a super job. Nothing was damaged even though a couple of trees were huge and in a tight spot. One was wedged in between a fence and the house in a space you could barely walk through. These guys are professional. Will definitely call them again when needed.

We had called Tree Doctors to come install lights on our 40 foot Pine Tree in front of our house. We had originally called another company to come over who said they would be able to do the job but were not able to because they did not have the right equipment and they were rushing to get to the other job. Andrew showed up with his helper after Michelle scheduled them in and did an awesome job for us in less time that we anticipated. This was a special Christmas to us this year as we are having the whole family over for the holidays and wanted it to look really nice. They were mindful when they stripped down our tree and tossing down the branches as we have a white fence surrounding our house. They left zero-damage and cleaned up everything! Overall, we highly recommend them and their team are incredible!

I operate a residential construction company and have hired Tree Doctors for a variety of different services, including; Arborists Reports, Tree Protection Plans, Tree Removals and Stump Removals. The service has been second to none. Whether it has involved navigating the complexities presented by Urban Forestry, or the challenges of getting equipment into challenging properties, the service has been organized and effective. Another important component of their business being the fairness and competitiveness of their rates. Their job was thorough and their clean-up was complete. They also added a bit extra, pruning some side bushes for the same price and advising how branches should be cut if I were to do some of it myself.

After calling around for estimates and quotes, we settled on Tree Doctors to remedy a nasty situation caused by new neighbours who literally destroyed 50+ years of growth of our white cedar hedge.

The arborist, Miguel visited our property and conducted a telephone meeting as his original visit had to be rescheduled to a day I wasn't able to get off from work.

In speaking with him, I was impressed by his knowledge but also the sense that he cared about the state of our existing cedar hedges. Instead of encouraging us to go ahead with our initial plan of removing the damaged white cedar hedge, (stumps and all) that would have cost over 17K (based on all of the quotes we received), he recommended that we consider an alternative that included some light pruning to shape what little of the canopy remained, and perform a fall fertilization treatment which would help the cedars survive the winter and promote greater growth in the spring.

We appreciated the honest feedback and advice provided, and we're hopeful that with some more TLC we can enjoy some of the beauty of our white cedar hedge that was lost down the road.

My only criticism would be that their office take the initiative to contact their customers if they know a scheduled appointment can't be honoured. Towards the end of the four hour window, I had called the head office to find out what was happening as the arborist hadn't arrived and it wasn't until then I was told that due to a delay, that the arborist wouldn't be able to come.

Despite this hiccup, we were still extremely pleased and impressed with Miguel as he was quick to respond to all of our concerns and questions, after his visit.

Tree Doctors completed a pruning job on a mature tree overhanging my home. David and crew safely rigged down wood and branches, taking great care around my roof and skylight. Safe and professional work. Thanks Tree Doctors!

The wind blew a lot of dead branches out of my trees and they caused some damage to the property. I was worried that more would come, so I called The Tree Doctors for help pruning the tree and getting all of the dead branches out. Olga was very friendly and eager to set me up with a free estimate for the services. Later that week Bruno showed up with his crew and they did an outstanding job cutting all of the dead branches from my tree, and they even collected the ones on the ground and hauled them all away for me. Overall had a good experience working with this company, and would recommend them to anyone.

Terrible customer service! I called ahead to schedule a pick up for firewood, then called an hour before actually going to pick up as requested, only to be shrugged off on arrival as they were just “too busy” to pull out the wood for us to load in our truck. I was then told I would get a call in 10 mins from the manager, which was about 3 hours ago. If you’re looking to buy firewood, take your business to any one of the other reputable suppliers in the area that value customer service and that have proved to have superior seasoned hardwood for less money anyways.

Awesome! I needed help getting some lights put up on my trees, so I called and spoke with Stacey at Tree Doctors. She was very excited to talk to me about the options they had for me. Not only did they hang the lights up for me, but they even supplied the lights! David and his crew were lovely to talk to, and they made my trees look beautiful for the holidays. I am in love with how good the lights look! Very happy customer, will gladly recommend their service to my friends.

I had a couple dead trees in my yard that I needed to have removed. I spoke with Mechelle from Tree Doctors and was very helpful, and explained that they would give me a free estimate for the job. Adam came and gave me an estimate for the tree removals, and informed me that they could even plant new trees in their place! The crew was very experienced and professional. Great firewood. I’ve shopped around for quality firewood that burns well, doesn’t smoke a whole lot and is easy to get started. I ordered some wood from the tree doctors after speaking with Olga. Not disappointed. I’ll be purchasing from tree doctors again.

Once again I decided to have the Tree Doctors come out to decorate the trees around my house for the Holidays! I spoke with Mechelle this time, and she was extremely friendly, and willing to go over the services they had to offer. Within no time a crew was at my house with their equipment and installing lights all the way up my trees. They are very bright and pretty lights. Couldn’t be happier!
