Tree Valley Garden Centre

There were lots of selection when it came to outdoor plants, flowers and planters but very little selection on indoor plants. When I found one I wanted to buy, all the plants looked like they were in need of TLC. Not the healthiest looking plants and prices for those plants weren’t cheap either. I picked up a few and upon closer inspection, saw a lot of small soil bugs, likely from overwatering as the soil was drenched.
I enjoy checking out nurseries and I usually walk away with multiple new plants but I left empty-handed.

Brought my parents here last Sept, 2022 and they truly enjoyed the car ride as well as seeing all the different species of plants on sale and on display, many beautiful flowers were all blooming and we were surrounded by vibrant and beautiful colours. Even if you arn't going to buy anything, it's still a nice day out just to admire the wonderful creations of nature.

Visited today and what a beautiful and very varied Garden Nursery! Karen was so pleasant and helped me load my car! All of the staff was so kind and I’m definitely coming back for more beautiful healthy plants!

Great variety, healthy stock, fair prices and knowledgeable staff. It's my first choice as a professional landscaper, has been for 20 years.

The most unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered. They lack communication skills. I’ve visited numerous landscaping businesses and these guys treat you like they actually do not want business. Please be cautious!

They have great selection of plants. Reasonably priced. Staffs are knowledgeable and very helpful. Overall good experience. We've bought lots of plants. I will go back to get more plants to finish the project.

The owner and his daughter are beyond “ignorant”. They are by far the rudest individuals we have ever dealt with. The way they behaved toward their customers, they should be ashamed of themselves. We will make sure to spread the word. Yelling at customers, speaking disrespectfully to older people and using bad language with customers is unacceptable. Disgusting!

Great prices, clear walkways, fully stocked with anything/everything green, red, yellow, pink, … etc.

Tree Valley is huge and if you don’t ask you may not find what your looking for. That said you’ll find something else even MORE BEAUTIFUL
DILPREET’s professionalism saved us time and possibly a costly mistake with aggressive roots!
We bought a couple of large Red Bud’s and some pretty stuff (? !). I dunno what the pretty stuff is called, I just dig the holes for the wife

Do not patronize this store again, because there is no warranty for the goods here. There is a problem. They will not provide service. It is a lousy store. If you want to patronize, go to Home Depot. Good service is guaranteed

Very good choices.some are very low price.lots of 1g perennials are $11.some prices r the same as big box stores.worth a visit for sure.

After 10 years of giving them a business 16 years old rude girl telling: you not in the system. When asking any questions she tells you, you want answer? You have to pay more.this place runs by few immature girls. Not the place for professionals, There are hundreds of suppliers in the area. Hell to you and your garden center

Great knowledgeable staff. Their plant inventory is well kept and organized and their pricing is fair.

Lots of selection, good quality locally grown plants, a bit cheaper than in the city, but everything is just so expansive these days.

I git a tree and it gone bad, no guidance to recover and no warranty. Sheridan did help me to take steps at least to bring life back to this plant. Even though I didn't buy from them, service and warranty is a joke

The variety, pricing and customer service at Tree Valley are incredible. I live in Toronto and stumbled upon the garden centre in 2021 when driving up north. I recently had to follow up regarding my large purchase from that trip and the customer service regarding the warranty was fantastic, so I'll be going back before this summer is up. It's definitely worth the drive!

Terrible customer service! The staff really just doesn’t care! I asked a guy about soils and before I can ask a follow up question he had already walked away. I had to run after him. I asked a girl if she could help me carry the plants onto the car because we bought a lot and we couldn’t carry it, she had the most impatient attitude and didn’t even bother trying to hide it. This would have would have been a normal request at sheridans or valley view and the staff there would have gladly helped.

Rude old lady at the cashier. I didn't know their closing time but doors were open. She refused to cash me out. She could have said 'Sorry, we are closed'. Anyways I will be shopping somewhere else.

Price a bit higher compared to homedepot but they have a variety of flowers, trees, seeds and etc. Helpful staff as well.

Majority of the staff members here are quite rude. I was asked to return in 2 days with pictures of my garden, which I happily did and found the sales associate Paul. Even though I followed his instructions and came back, he couldn’t be bothered to give me any attention whatsoever or help me select plants/trees. He left in the middle of a sentence to go help another customer. I waited over 30 minutes for him to return and help us (as he promised). He did not. I should have known when he was making snarky comments about other customers and bragging about ignoring them that he shouldn’t be trusted.

I ended up purchasing over $3000 worth of trees, perennials and cedars from Valleyview Gardens and Sheridan Nurseries. After reading the reviews on here, I’m very happy I didn’t spend a dollar of my money here.

This is the worst place to buy plants specially trees. They will never honour the warranty that they claim to provide at the time of sales. I was given run around after run around and then was told that I planned the tree wrong. My advise is to stay away from this place.

Absolutely inaccurate information is used to reply to my initial post. It is inaccurate that there has been an over a foot of soil. I am neither in-experienced nor stupid. Many other trees including one from Tree valley purchased at the same time are thriving in my front and back yard.
I stand by my assertion that we need to stay away from this place. There are many others who are trying to serve community and are not only after our pockets.

Horrible customer service. All I wanted to know was where the strawberries where, was waiting in line for so long just to ask a question. Even the lady behind me agreed that it’s slow here. The workers seemed rushed and not helpful. I will not be returning to this nursery.

My friend recommended it and it’s my first time here to buy the beautiful peony and rose. There are so many different types of plants and flowers. Love it and definitely will come back again.
