Trek Bicycle Queen West

Trek is my favourite brand for bikes - comfortable and reliable, high quality and good looking! The services there are genuine, not pushy, and explained specifications in detail. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone for a Trek bike at this store!

UPDATE: Josh from the Trek store reached out to me and made things right. I appreciate how quickly the matter was resolved and I have already picked up the new pair of shoes and can continue with my biking without any concerns. Thank you Trek Queen West.

Old Feedback: Top of the line Bontrager xxx road shoes. Cost me almost $580. After only riding one season, the carbon looks like this. I weigh 58 kgs for reference. I ride on roads only. I took it to the store, and one of the employees had a detailed look at it for 15 minutes and agreed that the carbon did not look good and agreed to warranty it. I even told the employee that the carbon had a lot of play while climbing, sprinting and was not as stiff as it was originally. My concern was that the carbon was compromised and the employee had agreed after he visually inspected it for a good 15 minutes. The employee looked genuinely concerned about the condition of the carbon. The employee then proceeded to the cash register and ordered the replacement shoe for me and said that I would receive it in about a week or so at their location. The next day, the trek store calls me back saying that the employee was not knowledgeable about carbon and did not have the authority to authorize the warranty. So instead of going back to the store, they agreed to receive pictures of the shoes instead and they would further investigate the matter with someone who is more knowledgeable at the store. After a few days, I get a call back from the store, saying that, after their consultations, I would not be offered a replacement under warranty as they see it as normal wear and tear and the laminant being broken is considered cosmetic damage and cannot be warranted. I understand wear and tear, but a top of the line carbon shoe should not look like this even before one season has ended. I was disappointed when the store would not honour the first employee’s exchange under warranty promise to me. Surprisingly, there was no apology from the store regarding the miscommunication of the warranty promise made to me. I understand that the store has to abide by their guidelines and policy for warranty. They had several other sizes on sale for the exact model for $170. I was disappointed that the store did not make any attempt to even explore other options. At the end of the day, it’s not even about the shoe or even the money, it’s how one honours a promise made, no alternative options offered, and no apologies made for their employee giving the wrong information.

Great place to buy a bike. Prompt service. I ordered a bike that was sold out and it came earlier than expected. They strive for the best customer service. The service reps are quite knowledgeable and sociable. Keep it up, Trek Queen Street!

Update: The service at this place is hit or miss, depending on who you get. Reality is other places have superior service. You only come to Trek Queen now because the product is good.

Its now up to Canada Post to ensure my parts arrive in Kamloops on Friday in time for me to Race IMC next week.

I think I can find cheaper stuff elsewhere, but I do like the experience of coming in and being able to discuss options with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Customer service is what makes me come back to this store!

I had a great experience testing and eventually purchasing a bike from Trek. Jake from the team was super helpful in guiding me in finding the bike that was right for me. I highly recommend this store and brand!

Getting my complimentary tune-up is a bit of a disappointment since I will have bring in my bike for an assessment, then book an appt probably a week later and then potentially leave it overnight for the repairs which equals three round trips to the store.

Had a wonderful experience recently purchasing a touring bike from them with some upgrades. The bike was setup and upgraded within a very short period, considering how busy they are at this time of the year (spring), and every person that I dealt with during several visits, were very courteous and helpful - highly recommended!

I have dealt with Trek Queen West for many years, when they took over from Duke's Cycle. The service is excellent - friendly, fast and competent. Alas, I have recently moved away from Toronto and will miss the team at Trek Queen West. Special thanks to Wez for finally diagnosing the mystery noise in my Checkpoint and arranging for the warranty replacement. And special thanks to Steffan for his advice over the years and for going above and beyond the call of duty to help us with transporting our bikes for our cross-country move.

I bought my fx1 disc bike in rage red here a week ago! Best service hands down I’ve gotten in a very very long time. Jake is amazing! If you want incredible advice and bike wisdom.he’s your guy! I had a small glitch with a tire when I picked up my bike and rode it home the first night. I called Trek and Jake offered to come by my place after his shift ended to fix my tire. He came by as promised and fixed my flat and replaced the faulty tube. He went out of his way for me! I couldn’t believe the amazing service he provided. I rave and gloat about Trek on Queen St West and Jake to everyone now! Thanks Jake and Trek! You made my new bike experi fantastic! ️

My wife and I purchased 2 Domane SL 6s w/105 Di2 and Carbon Wheel, plus accessories, in May/2023. We love Trek's design, the Iso Speed and the Internal downtube storage. Before making our final decision, we visited several stores in the Toronto and Oakville area. We must say that Trek's Toronto Queen West is in the excellent hands of Steffan Kraiker and Jake Williams. Both provided outstanding customer service (to me and, as I observed, to some problematic customers at the store). We dealt with Steffan and Jake on separate occasions, and both proved to be knowledgeable, courteous and willing to make it a great shopping experience for my wife and me. And for that, we are extremely grateful. As for constructive feedback, the tire pressure on both bikes seemed low (~40psi), and the seats were too high for us. I'd have appreciated a little more information (how/when to charge the Di2, for example) —no deal breaker as I could find that information online. Overall, a great experience.

Had the *best* experience at this store! Was biking down to the Jay's game - got a flat on route - walked on over to Trek and Josh was so incredibly kind and helpful. He was able to fix it up right then and there (hugh piece of glass!). Josh, can't thank you enough. You were the catalyst to a fun evening at the Skydome! A generally very welcoming environment at this store. Would/will return.
