Tremendous Chinese Restaurant

Too oily and salty food, service is bad also. We took a dinner with whole family around 12 person. We order many food and meal, fried rice etc, same taste.

Had the hot plate Cantonese very crispy and good with the sauce and hot sauce of course, also ate the spicy shrimp no complaints

Don’t come here, it’s not for those who are used to good traditional Chinese / Cantonese cuisine. Ordered a meat and tofu hotpot that has no flavour, lots of undercooked chewy broccoli to fill the pot, and a big piece of pork they didn’t even bother to cut thinner.
Aside from that, rude unhelpful servers, told me to move the bowl rudely so that she can put the dish down, another giving us only 1 pair of chopsticks when there’s 3 of us, and not letting us take the table by the window while people who came after us are given that table.
Don’t come if you want a good dining experience. Just the manner of the waiters alone will turn you off.

I decided to go here for my late birthday dinner based on my previous experience several months ago. Boy, what a disappointment. The food was terrible. They must have had a change in chef. My wife was not too pleased on having to journey all the way from Guelph for dinner that was not satisfactory.

Wow… This restaurant charges you a 10% tip whether you like it or not and don’t inform you. This is unacceptable. It’s pretentious and misleading as you tip thinking it’s necessary. I’m actuality you’re tipping twice. For example if your bill is $25, it’ll become $27.50. Then you add let’s say 20% it becomes $33. Imagine your server never tells you about this added tip without your knowledge. If you bring it up they tell you it’s your responsibility to read the bill and don’t apologize. This is super shady. Never going back.

Wow! The deep fried shrimp dumplings were so tasty. What made them especially great was the thinness of the roll itself. Yum. Enjoyed and appreciated the carafe of jasmine tea left on the table.

Tremendous is a very run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant where they have most of the typical Chinese dishes available.

The pricing of the food is good even by not going with their set platter menu. With some thought about order placement, the price of the bill per person can amount to just around less than $15 each.

The restaurant's ambiance leaves much to be desired. It does not exclude any class or grandeur at all. Decor and Chinese theming are also very minimal.

At the back end of the dining area, there was a section partitioned off by some dividers where I believe there were some people playing mahjong. I can sort of make out hearing the mahjong pieces or tiles being moved around and shuffled.

I ordered a chow mein noodles to take out, the noodles were literally dry. Not cooked!
Not to mention how dirty the place is. Here's a fair! Warning! To you do not spend your money and time on this place. There are plenty of good options out there.

I’ve been ordering from here for awhile and the last few times have been extremely disappointing maybe it was because it was Father’s Day and they had a lot of orders but everything was disappointing and pretty much went into the garbage. We got a wrong item in the picture I have no idea what they sent but we ordered general Tao it’s never came with broccoli, the spicy shrimp and squid was hard and chewey it tasted like week old left over. The portions got smaller. Over it the quality of the food has gone down hill. Never again. Save your the money and go somewhere else

Just go for the lobster.we ordered the beef ribs and they drenched it in sauce.not regular sauce.but like soup.onions and green peppers.very little ribs.even the vegetable chow mein was drenched in sauce.it was not good! Very disappointing.

We went to dine in, the servers' attitude was very dull, we ordered shrimp fry rice, which was ok, the spicy shrimp and deep fried wings were over fried and extremely dry now we've been going to tremendous for over 10 years, and the quality of food has really been poor as of lately.

I wish I could give this restaurant a 0 star. The customer service is extremely terrible, they don't care about how customers feel, their main aim is to serve food and collect the money. I got burnt, hard and dry chicken and the manager did not care one bit. He told me I have to take it and pay for it regardless. I was in shock. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Best Chinese food in Mississauga! Highly recommend the shrimp rolls and shrimp in spicy salt.

I'm usually going to eat Chinese in the east end but to my ultimate surprise tremendous is here in the west this is as authentic as it gets amazing food all around 5 stars.

Great experience. From the luxury decor to the dead crab lying upside down in the tank. You can always expect a quality experience here. Don't judge a book by its cover but by the vest one wears. I was a vegan until I stepped in this place.now I'm a cattle farmer. The dragons eyes were lit tonight.so you know it's going to be a great night. Tremendous.you have my heart and my soul

I've been ordering from this place years now (usually pick up) and today was the worst experience that I had. I dont really tend to write reviews but I really wanted to flag the lady works at the front desk. I understood few cases in the past where they gave me wrong food or missing food (SHE was the person who answered for pick up order in these cases too) Today, when I first called for takeout, she said she wasnt able to hear my voice. We called her back with other phone and she was able to hear but when we started order menus she told again that she wasnt able to hear. We called back with other phone and she said she was okay hearing it but again when we started to call menu list she again told us that she couldnt hear because it was loud in the restaurant. It started became a bit awkard because she was answering all the questions except when we call out menu list. Okay, lets assume or it really was technical issue but i wasnt able to stand writing review due to her following action. She started to scream at us saying if you want to order, you come here and order, because I cant hear. We told her we want to order ahead for pick up because we quite live very distant to the restaurant. But she again screamed at us 'you come to restaurant if you want to order' Is this an attitude to your customer? I had no issue talking to other supervisor right after we tried call back. This is not first time experiencing such rudeness from her. I really dont think she should be in the front desk, she will defintely ruin your restaurant reputation.

Not bad for Mississauga. I am more lenient in the west. Cannot compare to Richmond Hill, Markham or Scarborough, but decent food and prices.

As the last store to close in this area, it is a good place for late night snacks. It’s really comfortable to come out to have morning tea at night, the siu mai is super delicious the price is not expensive

Food was okay dumplings were not bad

But the Head Manager behaviour was unacceptable and made me feel completely unwelcomed, there was a misconception and refused to help and was being extremely rude and blaming us for it. I couldn’t approach the staff because of their behaviour

After eating we discovered a hair and felt extremely disgusted by the hygiene of the facility and decided to leave because the stubborn owner

For your own safety I recommend please stay away from here!

The food is always exquisite. It’s everything you want an authentic Chinese restaurant to be and best of all it’s open late compared to the others. There’s always great service and the food is always fresh. The price is fair and it’s great if you go in a group and get a variety of dishes, once the bills split up it’s only around $20-25 for a belly full of delicious food. I’ll surely continue coming here in the future.

After the change of ownership. Everything went upto $3.50+ per dish
Service by the workers are still good but does not make up for the pricing. For that I rather go to Emerald by hwy 10 and Eglinton

Decent place! Repeated a few times! Love the bean sprout fried noodles! Good food for a decent price! The food can be inconsistent though! Typical Chinese restaurant atmosphere lol! But it’s nice! Best place ever? No! But will repeat as it’s open late!
