This place is a Butcher shop, I booked an appointment to have my wisdom teeth taken out and asked if they can do it and they replied "yes" I came in for the appointment and they tried to numb my gums but did not wait long enough and started the extraction, I told the doctor I was feeling the pain he started injecting more drug to numb my gums and started proceeding. I got a total of 6 to 7 injection and finally the dentist pulled out one of my teeth, he then told me I will have to go to a specialist to put me to sleep for the other one. I started to drive home when my mouth and jaw completely froze and was numb, this happened because the drugs took longer to take affect and the dentist did not wait he just started fast so he can get to his other appointment. I came home and saw a piece of my wisdom teeth still in, I have had a nightmare experience with this Butcher shop.

Also the (body builder) dentist was pushing on my head hard with one hand and pulling hard on the other to take the teeth out, he was wrestling with my face with his big protein shake filled arms

I didn’t know that the dentist could be a positive experience until I came here. Friendly, capable team who is great at what they do. Both cleanings have been done by Jack who deserves 5 stars. He goes over and above not just to give a great cleaning but to educate on how to have better dental health.

Everyone that I encountered today at Trillium Dental was friendly and helpful and put me at ease. It's been a few years since I'd been to the dentist (with the pandemic and all) so I was naturally worried about the state of my oral health.

Tory was my hygienist and she was understanding, friendly and good at what she does. Dr. Hussein was lovely. The receptionist (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) was super friendly as well.

Just a very welcoming and calming experience, especially for someone who had not so great experiences with dentists as a child. I may actually look forward to my next appointment.

I’ve been visiting the clinic for more than a year now and I have always been super satisfied with the treatment, respect and professionalism of all staff at this location. The dentist Mr Oies is a gem of a person. He completed my left side wisdom teeth removal in 30 minutes with local anesthesia and I did not have any problems with the removal process. He made sure I was aware of the steps and relieved me of any stress whatsoever. I appreciate it when the doc made me aware that no extra caution like a laughing gas or IV sedation is required as long as I’m okay with it. No press to spend extra for it is covered by the insurance. They know how to respect the interests of the patient. I highly recommend the clinic.

Such an amazing dental centre. Highly professional and accommodating, Dr. Shamji is the best. I’ve always been nervous at the dentist, here they’re so kind and understanding. The receptionists are so sweet and knowledgeable too. I forget the name of the dental assistant who always assists, but because of them I always leave feeling amazing. Genuinely the best dental office I’ve ever been to, if you’re thinking about coming to them, just do it!

Originally I was happy with the service that was being provided, I was passed between a couple different dentists at the office, every time I went in I would have them pull my remaining balance to my benefits to prevent them from exceeding my benefits package.
On my last visit I complained about having a cavity that was causing pain and the dentist was more focused on fixing a couple of small chips on my front teeth that were not bothering me, now my front teeth are extremely sensitive to both hot and cold, and the cavity was never fixed.
They went on to send me an invoice for the work that was not asked for and which was also outside my benefits.
Thanks for nothing.

I have had many cleanings in my 50 years and the gentleman who cleaned my teeth at Trillium was literally the most gentle cleaning I had in my entire life. No pain during or after. My teeth are pristine. If you are looking for regular dental care with a soft touch or for children Trillium is the place!

This is the most frustrating dental clinic I have been to. I had my tooth filled here and it broke 2 months later, so I went back for refilling and it broke again in 2 months. I have to come back 5 times in 5 months just for this one thing. The dentists are bragging about how fantastic their work is and constantly making excuses for this failure all the time. However, my previous filling last for 10 years. They introduced themselves as the best dental clinic in Kitchener but they definitely don’t deserve this at all.

Hands down, the best experience I've ever had at the dentist! I was very anxious about having my wisdom teeth removed again after having a terrible experience previously. After sharing my concerns with the receptionist, Dr. Hussein gave me a call back and talked me through the procedure and my options. Again, I was really nervous on the day! However, the procedure was quick and painless and Dr. Hussein ensured to keep checking in on me throughout the entire process! 10/10 would recommend!

I decided to come to Trillium Dental because they had flexible hours that fit my schedule (week day evenings, and Saturdays). I’ve been going to them for few years now for various services and am so glad I made that decision. Dr. Hussein is the best dentist I have gone to… he is talented, efficient and personable. I always have a positive experience whether I’m visiting for a cleaning, orthodontic issues, or even cavity fillings - which says a lot! I recently completed an Invisalign procedure with Dr. Hussein and I’m blown away with the results. He has his clients best interest in mind and it’s clear in his interactions with his patients. I have been going to Trillium Dental Centre for the pas year and a half now. This has been the best dentist I have ever been too. Dr. Hussein was able to preform and complicated wisdom tooth extraction with ease. I was told by other dentists I would require surgery. Doctor Hussein was successful, and saved me a lot of money in the process. My hygienist Tory is very diligent with her cleaning. I always enjoy coming into the office knowing she is working on my teeth. I am beyond grateful to be a patient of Dr. Hussein and Tory.

Doctor Hussein, is a fantastic dentist he has been our dentist for over 5 years now and I have 2 high functioning Autistic children that never liked a dentist, and they will go see him. He's kind and patient with them and takes time to explain what is going on to them etc.

Jacques is the most caring hygienist I ever met. Careful, gentle and thorough.
Dr. Hossain is very caring appropriate and well mannered.

I have been going to different dentists for over 30 years but this has to be by far the best dentist experience. Dr. Shamsi was able to handle a complicated wisdom tooth extraction. He is the pro; the most experienced dentist I have come across so far. Tina was supporting me throughout the process; she is superb at her job. Also, I was able to secure the appointment that very day. The front desk staff are also super supportive of the entire process. From booking an appointment to the procedure snd aftercare - everything was absolutely amazing. Highly highly recommend! Five stars!

I went to trillium to remove my wisdom tooth, I wasn’t sure to go to this process, but it was done so smoothly by Dr Hussein, he is professional and did his job perfectly. I would highly recommend due their quality service and professionalism.

A great place for your dental care. From the second I walked into the business and to the second I leave. The receptionists are very attentive. The wait time is very short.
I suffer from major anxiety of needles.
The assistants are very welcoming and very patient with listening to my concerns. And when the dentist comes into the room, he comes with even more assurance that he understands my concerns and will tend to me with compassion and detailed care. Each step they make, they inform in great care and details. During the procedures, the dentist and assistant reassures me that I am doing well. And before I know it, the procedure (s) is complete. This company has reduced my anxiety level quite a lot at each visit and I’m not fearing when I need to book an appointment. They’re very knowledgeable, compassionate, supportive, patient, understanding and caring.
When you suffer from major anxiety, it is important and a blessing to receive these kind of graceful treatments.

Absolutely fantastic! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Traumatic experience as a child to adolescent as well as orthodontist. They understood and made me feel comfortable. Told me if I needed a break they would stop and give me one. They explained what was going to happen. Asked if I was alright throughout the procedure. I had them turn TV volume up and play music so I could try and focus on something else. Thank you

Dr. Oies Hussein is an exceptional dentist and I would 110% recommend Trillium. He is very enthusiastic, passionate, professional and even makes going to the dentist something to look forward to. I was nervous about my wisdom tooth extraction, based on a negative experience from a different establishment but Dr Hussein was extremely accommodating and kept asking me if I was alright throughout the whole procedure and I didn’t feel a thing. The dental assistant and receptionist were also very friendly and kind. I have been to a lot of dentists, he is by far my favourite:)

The extraction was very fast and painless. Everyone was very kind and caring. The office called the next day to see how I was doing. There were no issues with the insurance or any unexpected extra charges that were not covered. My partner was welcome to wait in the waiting room.

I recently finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Aadil Shamji and his team, and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, Dr. Shamji managed my treatment with a specific focus on my needs as a client. I asked him all kinds of questions and he not only welcomed them, but also gave me the information I needed to reassure me that my treatment was going according to plan. Although I began with an Invisalign Express treatment plan, I was not entirely satisfied with the initial result, so Dr. Shamji went above and beyond to coordinate getting me more trays at a very minimal cost. The whole team is amazing in terms of their organization and ability to maintain customer satisfaction. Special thanks to Kristina for coordinating with Invisalign, for the tips and tricks she provided me with during treatment, and for the goodies she threw in at the end of my treatment. The one dental hygienist I saw for a cleaning was lovely and left my teeth sparkling clean, but, regrettably, I forgot their name. Lastly, everyone at the front desk was very polite, but Medhavi stood out as she made scheduling all my appointments an absolute breeze and was a pleasure to interact with. Thank you sincerely to the whole team for putting a smile on my face every time I came in - a smile that I am now much more confident with!

Receptionists are very kind and efficient! Dentist seems really passionate and is a stand-up guy, explains everything and understands financial constraints and won't try to talk you into something you can't afford.

Notes:

- I personally had a tooth extracted and not only was it under 5 minutes for the whole thing, but he even got the tooth out without shattering it and could tell I was a bit nervous so he talked me through it.
- Had several x-rays done and decided only 2 of them were useful so HE DIDNT CHARGE ME for the others

The most unorganized waste of time establishment I’ve ever been to, they cancelled two of my previous appointments on the day of the appointment back to back and then weeks later they contacted me stating that they had an opening and when I got to my appointment they tell me that it’s not today but in a few days time like why would you not mention that before hand. Very unprofessional these appointments were all during the week they have no regards for peoples time and personal schedule I had to reorganize my whole day around all these appointments only for them to cancel last minute and they don’t care! Do not go to trillium they are unprofessional

So glad to have found Trillium after searching for a reliable dental office for the past six years. I saw them for a long-overdue wisdom tooth extraction followed by a root canal. Drs. Lalji and Hussein could not have been kinder and more professional, ensuring I was comfortable throughout both procedures. I even walked out of the extraction laughing. It’s obvious that this dental office is patient-centric and, as a patient, that makes a world of difference.

Trillium is a great dental centre! I chose them at first because they had extended hours (open evenings and weekends) and had many staff that could accommodate different schedules. I did Invisalign treatment with Dr. Hussein and he was fantastic. Explained everything as we went, tried to make it as easy of a process as it could be. The dental assistants, hygienists and admin staff were all lovely to interact with and always super helpful. They even mailed me my final retainers when I had moved before treatment was over!

Scheduleding is prompt, information is relayed to patients in an effective way, painless and quick extraction on my wisdom tooth with 10/10 follow up

A month past, and my family keeps treating teeth with Dr. Shamji. My children are very receptive to dental treatment, especially my little daughter, who is 5 years old. Dr. Shamji treated each of us very attentively and with great professionalism, especially our little patient. Now my children want to have their teeth treated only in this clinic, and only with Dr. Shamji.

Had to get a filling redone and it was honestly the quickest and easiest process! The doctor made me feel super comfortable and there was barely any pain or discomfort at all! The numbing agent really did its job if i do say so myself:)

From the moment I contacted Trillium I was impressed with the customer service I received. I met with Dr. Hussein and his chair side manner and skills were excellent!
I am a nervous nellie and all my questions were answered and the team was very efficient with a major extraction that had to dealt with.
I am now booked for routine dentistry and they have a new client in me, and will book my husband here as well.

Hidden fees, didn’t want to do a simpler, more cost effective procedure. Even though they were aware of what I wanted before I came in. Just in it for the money. Doesn’t care about their client’s needs. Avoid this place.

Never did I imagine an experience at the dentist to be a memorable one filled with compassion and patient-centric care, opposed to one that is impersonal, judgemental, and “routine”. I was visiting my family in the city and needed to schedule a check-in at short notice. From the moment I called in to ask for availability to the time I walked out the door after, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional care and kindness I received. The attention to detail from easy-to-fill forms online and clear concise text reminder to the visual review of the x-rays was evident. Each step was carefully explained to me in a way I am able to understand, which helped me stay curious and invested in my treatment plan. Each person that was part of my treatment was respectful, patient, and always made sure I was comfortable along the way. Words can’t express how appreciative I am of an environmental that is emotionally safe and inclusive (coming from someone who had numerous anxiety-driven experiences with dental care). I would highly recommend the team to someone who is looking for a team that cares about what matters - putting you first with effective treatments, empathic communications, and exceptional customer service.

To make a story short, Dr. Shamji Is a very talented dentist who is not afraid to take a challenge. After refusals by 2 professional denturists saying I’m not quality for a denture
Dr. Shamji took a chalange and was very successful. So far I love my dentures still getting use to it as it hasn’t been that long.

I am very nervous at the dentist! And because of this I have been avoiding booking an appointment for years. Dr Hussein helped with this immensely. He brought me in for a consultation just to look at how my teeth were doing and then we had an easy conversation about the next steps. He never made me feel embarrassed or pressured to book my next appointments. He was frank, yet comforting.
