The ICU unit staff are genuine and have provided top notch service. However, once she got into the stroke ward I found that our nurse was not as observant and caring as she should. By her carelessness, she ignored our comments about her deterioration. Which led to another stroke. I will recommend others to report to the head nurse of that unit of your concerns. Along with calling, patient relations to make any complaints: call Trillium ext 7164

After waiting for six hours, we have yet to see a doctor.

The Emergency Department at THP is just a joke. Seriously, if you can wait for so long, I believe you don’t need to see a doctor.

The only star is for the nurses I met today, except the one I met at HAIZ around 3: 30pm. Her behavior was discriminatory and she was particularly rude to me, seemingly due to my Asian heritage.

Went in here with my aunt for her ultrasound as she is having a new baby. First of all, As soon as we went inside to check in, The tall girl with curly hair and tattoos at the front desk thinks she runs the place and gives us the most DISGUSTING attitude i have ever seen in my life no joke. We didn’t even step in and she angrily goes “Can you guys just take a seat i didn’t even call out a number yet? !? ”. Big yikes.

5 star for doctors, 4 star for cleaning. 0-star for management and services. I’m not sure when they will improve services. Even for any allergies to children, they took 4 hours wait time and then doctor address the children after an hour.
Repeating the same for multiple times in this hospital. I understood emergency is first critical priority. Where are other doctors.why can’t they increase the doctor availability on the night shift or morning shifts.
Another exp: One of the person have foot fracture and blood are coming out. He shouted lot and they put medical cloth that’s it and waiting for two hrs.

It was terrible experience. They were rude muttered under there breath talked. The gave me got wide open. When other patients had cloths. I had cloth in bag entire day had complain be access. Next gown very tight. Had no plus sizes could easily borrowed matterinity ward with I suggested. I have wide frame large chest. It was day two cloth. Paper thin shoes slip out I had I could go underwater hours didn't check bag to late. I woke up sore no idea way. My elite body exposed if walked to fast no ties on side. Stained gown. They didn't listen often hour repl or nit replies at all. Some staff kind treated me science experiment. I didn't feel safe care not being informed test did while sleeping. When I asked just blinked.c

The nurses and doctors here saved my life. I was in the ICU for 2 days after my blood sugar became super high and I went into DKA, blood became acidic and low volume. Then went into the diabetic ward for a day. In the ward my nurse's shift ended and he didn't introduce the new nurse who replaced him. So when I pressed the assistance button I had to wait a 10 - 20 mins. Another nurse had to call my nurse. Communication in this aspect could be improved.

Never liked hospitals or even having to visit someone there, and may God protect us from being admitted to one. I will not rate this review based on the actions of staff working there, because I know a depressing place like this, especially after years of a pandemic, takes a huge toll on everyone, but I will rate it based the uncomfortable beds and the not so healthy food they bring to patients, which are important factors in helping a patient recover there.

This building is very old and I understand it's very difficult to do any serious renovation in a place like this, especially if it evolves any level of noise, but I am sure they could have easily replaced the uncomfortable beds. Two relatives had to spend a week in this hospital and both hated the beds. How could someone get better without getting a well rested sleep? !

As for the food, I was shocked to find out what they serve the patients there. It's not the optimal diet for a speedy and healthy recovery, especially when it includes desserts and sugary drinks without much emphasis on vegetables and fruits.

Really disappointing to see the level of public health care like this. I know Canada is still much better than other countries when it comes to the health care system, but there is always room to do better.

0% recommended, this hospital is so terrible and racist. When they asked for my information the receptionist asked for my religion and I don’t know why. I went in and the doctor was very unprofessional, my 7 year old daughter’s appendix bursted and the doctor didn’t tell us. My daughter could have died because of him. The doctor in the walk in clinic recommended an ultra-sound but he denied it. I will never ever come to this hospital even if it depended on my life.

We had our baby at the Mississauga hospital and were delighted with the service and care offered by the staff across units including labor assessment, birthing and postnatal. The nurses and doctors are all amazing and try their best to care for every patient in the best possible way. We had to wait a bit longer than expected due to a sudden surge of emergencies and limited resources but were kept very well informed throughout on how everything progressed. Very fortunate to have been referred to this hospital and grateful for our devoted healthcare workers.

My mom had surgery yesterday and today we’re worried about blood clots so I brought her in were here 4 hrs nothing and the staff are nasty. No Dr yet either. She missed her dinner and her pills and cant go home. Its not fair to an elderly lady who is supposed to be resting not in a waiting room in a wheelchair. Not friendly here very loud staff its like grade school. Next time Credit Valley!

Sadly is not only this hospital, health is so bad in Canada.
I came to emergency at 9: 00 pm because of a very bad headache and dizziness, almost fainting.
They told me to take my clothes off and wait for the doctor after 4 hours I didn't get any attention yet, I came to emergency from my job. But nobody looked like they care.

I can absolutely believe that if I would be a Canadian they will be better than this, but a Latin immigrant is not that important to them.

Being in the healthcare field I am well aware of the difficulties that can arise. This hospital is the worst I have ever experienced. Staff are disrespectful, rude and dismissive towards the patients and personally didn’t have a clue what they were doing. My loved one was very ill suddenly and not one doctor called me. I later found out from his health records that I requested that he was in fact very ill with many different things but nobody communicated this with his family.
When I asked the charge nurse for updates she of course told me the doctor has to do that. Still, I received no call. My loved one died and I later had a conversation with the chief of staff about the so called doctors lack of communication with the family. He said he had spoken to the doctor concerned and he feels very bad and sorry that he couldn’t speak to you.
That is not a good enough excuse. The hospital has the worst care I have ever encountered. If you want to be neglected and die then please go here.
The place should be shut down. The management at this hospital are not capable to ensure that adequate care is given. I make sure that anyone I speak to is dissuaded from going to Mississauga
Trillium Hospital, especially to the stroke unit.

Was very uncomfortable from when I stepped in, I was welcomed by security and seated with a nurse to register.and he proceeded to yell at security across the room to tell him “to make sure people have their health cards out” it didn’t feel like the staff is here to welcome comfort or support u/ very much feels like they hate their jobs.

After registration, at the department I was in they had to re-register me … very disorganized and rude… telling me they've been waiting for me, when the waiting room is outside the department… After the second registration I waited 2 hours to be put in a room to wait another 2 hours, I started feeling like noone knew I was in the room waiting… cold.

I stepped out the room to ask if they know Im in here and the nurse just kept walking telling me yes, they know we just have 20 clients waiting since 11a.m. Meanwhile the nurses are laughing and talking about the patients out loud. I don’t understand what’s going on, but I would never consider this hospital for “emergency” unless u can literally waste ur whole day.

Also the sheets were dirty and the washroom was worse than a gas station washroom.

Doctors are prone to pronounce death when it comes to treating elderlies. They couldn't care less. All lives, no matter what your age, should be treated equally well. You're doctors to save lives without age discriminations. Just don't say, you want to live considering your advanced age or continue treatments. Put yourself in the families situations. Your job is to comfort and saves lives. Doctors can be so rigid.
The hospital should be able to provide a reclining chair for families who want to spend overnight with loved ones as some patients cannot communicate in English.

If I could give this place a zero I would the staff in D4 are all insensitive, uncompassionate, unpleasant unprofessional, rude individuals calling themselves health care what a joke. The way they treat family members are like criminals and the staff made us VERY UNCOMFORTABLE this hospital would never be our pick at all as I'm not sure if the staff are judgemental due to the location as they treat people in such disrespect.would never go here as I don't trust them with my life even on my death bed I would avoid this hospital at all cost! I had to go to the ER around 5pm and was discharged around 12: 30am. While the wait was long every nurse, technician and the ER doctor I spoke to was SO SO KIND. It's easy to complain about waits, but that's the fault of government funding impacting staffing levels NOT because of a lack of compassion. Also worth mentioning I had several tests done during this time which were all done informatively and with care and got results by the end of my visit. So Thank you to everyone who helped me.

Overall the staff there are professional, but the intake lady who works in the registrations with the RAFT debt.is extremely rude and unprofessional, she groans and treats people like dirt, she kept interrupting me without even getting it with many unprofessional words, she is irrespectful and inconsiderate, I was merely blown off. I'm a monthly donor to the THP and thanks to this lady, I will stop doing that.

Terribly managed, I can understand it's been over two years of pandemic but the way staff behave is really unwelcoming and unpleasant. Either it's shortage if nurses or untrained people they hire. Something Terribly wrong here. They might be working extra hours or may stressed but unprofessional and no empathy for people.

Picked up a friend from the Diagnostic Imaging Angio area. Staff and volunteers were very helpful in directing me to the unit. Medical team treat my friend so well! Everything was so smooth. We are grateful for the amazing team there.

Parking is limited - there is a parking garage, but it fills up. Be sure to arrive early to give yourself time to find a spot.

Waited over 4 hours to see a doctor for my foot infection. I hadn't eaten and was feeling faint. I went to nurses station and asked how much longer it would be. They said they had no idea and I said well I am leaving.a tall blondish red hair nurse in the background said nobody is forcing you to stay I said thank you for making my whole day and then left.

Early this year I had Covid-19 in April and I started feeling very ill so I went to this hospital.
When I got there to do triage the lady there was very rude to me, she ask me what I was doing there and when I told her about my situation she asked me “if you have covid, what are you doing here? ” I mean, isn’t the hospital the right place to be treated when you feel ill? How was I supposed to treat myself at home in horrible state that I was in?

They claim this is a “Breastfeeding Friendly” hospital yet (1) the paediatrician Dr Nicholas Blanchette didn’t mention our baby’s severe tongue-tie (2) No lactation consultant came to see us before being discharged, (3) our nurse asked if we were interested in an appointment with a lactation consultant but didn’t schedule an appointment, and we had to wait until the following week. I am very disappointed because our first lactation consultant appointment was set at 2 weeks, and breastfeeding has been arduous up until day 12 when we had a paediatric dentist perform the tongue-tie release. Trillium Health Partners shut down their community breastfeeding clinic due to the pandemic. How is this a breastfeeding friendly hospital? Dr Mcclean was excellent on the other hand.

A huge shout out to all nurses, essential workers, doctors who went out of way to make my Covid related stay as comfortable as possible. I was sitting 2 meters away from my hospitalized brother and took my mask off to drink water. A doctor looking person immediately stopped by my brothers room and demanded I put my mask back on and threatened to remove me from the hospital because "they care about their patients in this hospital". I'm double vaccinated and my brother is too. I'm also asthmatic and I was drinking water. My brother and I are both health professionals too. Clearly they don't care about mental health or even know what the real covid guidelines are.

Just went to drop off something for my aunt in the stroke ward. Had to communicate at the front entrance in the cubicles and when the lady finally got in touch with someone a nurse said she would be down to come get it. While I waited the lady asked if I was vaccinated. I said “Yes”. Then she asked to see it. I said “For what? I’ve been standing here the whole time I’m not going any further” she said “So you just don’t have it or? ” I’m like “I do but I just don’t why I need to show it to you when I haven’t been more than a few feet from the door”. Eventually I showed her but I was very upset about it. NOWHERE DOES IT SAY I MUST SHOW MY VACCINATION PASSPORT TO ENTER THE HOSPITAL. Disgusting service.

Special shoutout to Dr. Kish, Nurse Olsen, and Michelle (in the pink heart shirt), and all the nurses in the J unit who took great care of my mother during her time at Trillium.

My mom had an operation recently on her brain and is usually a nervous wreck to be in the hospital- but not this time. What was still a difficult time for her (and me) would've been much more difficult had it not been for the nurses, Dr. Kish, and even the pleasantness of the porters who were super kind, caring, and helpful. Can't say enough great things about the experience- I live in Burlington and actually purposely took my mom from another hospital and drove the extra distance daily to Trillium because I've been to Trillium a few times now and the staff has always impressed me with their kindness and care.

Shoutout and respect to all nurses everywhere- especially the ones at Trillium who took good care of my ma. Ty <3.

I could continue on with a very long review, but one last thing I will say is that Dr. Kish even took the time to read my mom's book she wrote while she was under his care- that was really nice (They Called Me Alicia, Aracelly Borja- on amazon for anyone interested btw.).

Thanks again, only positive things to say from my experiences with Trillium and the staff.

Dr Puley n RN Rhea cssu are very nice to patients. Kind and talks nice. Impressed in cardiology. Underwent angiogram. If Dr is made to speak to patient 2-3 minutes after procedure. It is appreciated. All good reviews for Munk hospital toronto. Why you are not distrubuting same level experience Doctors equally to all hospitals to avoid confusion in patients.
Patients feel that if i get appointment in highly reviewed hospital, there would be better treatment there (hands on experience) Ministry should equally distribute Experienced and highly reviewed doctors of cardiology to each and every hospital.
This is only my view only.

I've never been to a more disorganized hospital. Proper protocol has been thrown out the window. I would much rather transit 1.5-2 hrs, even when my life is on the line. This hospital is by far the biggest joke I've ever seen. Even staff members agree that this hospital is a disgrace to the Healthcare system

Saw the actual doctor twice in a week, the residence didn't communicate anything properly, and got offended when I repeated back exactly what they were telling me.

This hospital deserves to be shut down, the funding goes to the competent hospitals, the administration all deserve to be fired, and only the extremely few competent staff deserve to be transferred elsewhere

On Sep. 2, my family doctor sent me to Trillium Mississauga Hospital. I was diagnosed with pancreatitis, had extreme pain in my abdomen, and spent 15 days on MED3A Unit 304 (Sep. 2-Sep. 17).
Thank You to an amazing staff at this hospital, excellent customer service, very caring and experienced nurses on MED3A Unit.
Special Thank You to Dr. Shalby, for taking excellent care of me. You are highly qualified doctor!
Also, special Thank You to nurse Grace, for your outstanding service in both day and night shift.
Another nurse I want to recognize is Beant Chahal, an amazing nurse, very caring and accomodating.

Great care in emergency
Filthy ward left to clean up bathroom my room mate sad lady had issues nurse told if the bathroom was dirty that there was one in the hall
Most important not been able to get any contacts with the doctor that treated me (I have no family doctor) 15 day call back Waite and that wasn’t even the doctor my phone appointment was scheduled for this morning put off until December
so now I guess I have no choice but to go to another emergency room very said as a patient I feel like I was treated like a thing not a person and was told such great things from my family about your hospital however they were in emergency they to couldn’t believe the ward conditions

The screening nurse totally lazy and in their own world in the emergency ward. 30 min for screening.another 30 min for registering 1 hour wait for the bed and then another 1 hour for nurse to take the detail of the patient condotion and finally another 45 to 1 hour waif for the arrival of doctor to see the pafient. 3 to 4 hours of wait just to see the doctor at emergency is totally ridiculous and the nurses are rude unhelpful when patient is in excruciating pain. Trullium emergency 10 times worse than st.joseph hospital in queensway. St joseph. Emergency.within 1 hour u in and out.

Gemma and Judith on the 2nd floor have no heart for families nor patients! Worst experience for my mother and our family. Judith would not allow my mother only grandchild to visit for 5 min and my mother ended up passing away that night! Eunice the head charge nurse pretends to care and in actuality does nothing to help. Our mom walked into the hospital and contracted COVID WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL! How does this happen? Worse health care system in the world as far as our family is concerned.

Gave birth to my first baby on Jan 18th.
I used a midwife for my labour but my stay in obstericiacs was mostly good!
The first nurse I had left something to be desired in terms of her bedside manner. She made me feel terrible because my baby wasn't eating (later found out he had the early symptoms of jaundice, He's now in NICU). The rest of our nurses were great (shout out to Nancy!).
The NICU nurses have been especially AMAZING! The team has absolutely gone above and beyond. Thanks so much to Dr Patricia, Agnes, Bev, Daarta and Lydia for all of their hardwork! Theyve made this emotionally draining process a little easier and we can't wait to take home our little boy:)

Came here with sharp abdominal pains, nausea, chills and awful back pain. I saw Dr. Lubberdink and she requested an ultrasound which, after 6 hours of waiting, told me that the results were clear and I probably was just having a bowel spasm. 4 days later I went to see my family Dr because the pain had still not subsided, within 10 seconds of reading my ultrasound results he told me I had a ruptured ovarian cyst. If Dr. Lubberdink had actually taken a closer look at my results she would have been able to tell what the problem was. I am so disappointed and I will never be going back to this hospital!

We were at the hospital today getting the Covid-19 vaccine for my mom. It was extremely well organized, flowed very well and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even gave us a credit for the parking. An excellent experience. Well done!

If there’s a zero, I would give them zero stars. I took my toddler into ER because she hit her head and there was a cut on her eyebrow. After 2 hours there was no doctor in sight. Nurses were least bothered to at least keep the patients informed about waiting time. Terrible service. Went to credit valley hospital and was done with check up in less than an hour. Never going here again

I have been to the hospital Saturday waiting for 8hours and the doctor was missing to reassess me. I had to sign the discharge form and leave I was in so much pain and exhausted. Left the hospital without any treatment or any assessment. Nurses are so rude. I think our tax money should be used to provide better Health Care.

I've always, always liked this hospital. They've always been kind, buy, last night I was there, and I didnt even get a blood draw, and even though I told the nurse, where it would be easier to get blood (right vein). He refused to listen. Instead he poked me way lower than usual, and both arms, leaving bad bruises, swelling, and it turns out, no blood draw was needed. I have picture to prove.

Horrible service. My dad required surgery and they thought it wasn’t urgent so they postponed it for 2 months. Went after the months and were told to wait another 2 months because we were too late to reach the hospital. They only had one slot open for
2: 45 and we couldn’t reach. We were late because they called him to another building near by to sign forms.

Pediatrics – Mississauga Hospital at Queensway.
On August 31,2019 my son and I went to emergency at Trillium Health Partners - Queensway Health Center. After taking blood tests, urine and abdominal ultrasound for my son, we were sent to a hospital in Mississauga with suspected appendicitis.
We arrived at the hospital around 11 p.m. At all times, we were informed about the progress, the tests and further plans. My husband stayed in the room with our son during the night. Our son had a surgery the next morning performed by Dr. Rai, whom we thank very much for professionalism and great professional care. I spent the second day and night in the hospital with my son.
The pediatric section of the hospital is renovated, clean and child-friendly. The nurses were very nice, they kept telling us what was going on, what examinations were carried out. They were even asking if painkillers were needed. At night, they assisted my son to the washroom, so I could sleep.
We would like to thank all the employees, nurses of the Pediatric Ward at the Mississauga Hospital and Dr. Rai for wonderful care.
PS.the hospital offers children many DVD movies, as well as Wii;) My son didn’t want to leave.

31.08.2019 byliśmy z synem na ostrym dyżurze w Trillium Health Partners - Queensway Health Centre. Po zrobieniu badań krwi, moczu i USG brzucha skierowano nas do szpitala w Mississauga z podejrzeniem zapalenia wyrostka robaczkowego.
Do szpitala dojechaliśmy koło 11 p.m. Cały czas informowano nas o przebiegu badań, co się dzieje i co jest planowane. Mąż został na noc w pokoju z dzieckiem. Syn operowany był na drugi dzień rano przez dr Rai, któremu bardzo dziękujemy za profesjonalizm i życzliwość. Drugi dzień i noc spędziłam w szpitalu razem z synem.
Oddział pediatryczny jest po remoncie, czysty i przyjazny dzieciom. Pielęgniarki były przemiłe, cały czas informowały nas co się dzieje, jakie badania są wykonywane, pytały czy potrzebne są środki przeciwbólowe, a w nocy kiedy spałam, zaprowadzały syna do toalety.
Chcielibyśmy podziękować za wspaniałą opiekę wszystkim, pracownikom Oddziału Pediatrycznego szpitala w Mississauga i doktorowi Rai.
PS.szpital oferuje dzieciom mnóstwo filmów na DVD, a także Wii;)

I had an appointment in mid September at Trillium on the Queensway and had a pleasant experience from the moment I arrived. The person on the information desk escorted me to the area I requested as it was rather difficult to locate. My wait was very brief after checking in and the technician apologized for the delay even though it was only a few minutes. He explained the procedure in detail, answering any questions I had in a courteous and professional manner. He was very efficient and thorough throughout the process. It was obvious that he was dedicated to his calling and compassionate towards his patients. I was most impressed with the treatment I received at Trillium. Thank you.

I’ve gone to the ER a few times and have been a
Handled with respect and care.

The wait times may be long some days ; but that’s expected in the city of mississauga.
The doctors there take their time and let you leave knowing you’ll be alright.

Awful experience my daughter and my family have lost all faith in this hospital as well as it’s partner urgent care
This hospital does irreversible damage to not only my child but my family as well
If you want your kids to have a proper treatment and plan I would stay as far away from trillium hospitals as you can

My Mom had a medical emergency and was transferred to Trillium-Mississauga location. She required immediate surgery and unfortunately did not have a bed for the duration of her stay, however, she could not stop "singing praises" about how great, compassionate, and helpful that the nurses were to her. My Mom was extremely happy with the level of care that she received during her time in this hospital and I am writing this review on behalf of her.

My wife had brain surgery there. She was very well cared for. ALL the staff there are very accommodating.
I only gave 5 stars because that's all that's allowed!

Amazing experience. Went in to ER this morning at 10: 45 with painful infected cyst which neither my family doctor nor dermatologist will drain. I was out by 12 after the cyst was drained, removed and sutured. Awesome nurses and wonderful doctor who handled the issue really well. Compassionate, attentive, gentle approach, constantly asking me if I'm ok or in pain. Even the young parking attendant helped me tremendously in finding a parking spot, when I couldn't find anywhere to park and circled back to him asking for help. I'm grateful for their help!

Fracture Clinic is terrible. Do yourselves a favour and go elsewhere. Nurses and staff are great but the doctors, mainly Dr Abbas do not care about patients.

Experience at the hospital was fine; however, my wife started being harassed to pay the bill for our private room by phone and text message about a week after the bill arrived by mail.

I don't know why the bill arrived by mail, as I gave the hospital authorization to charge my credit card, but there you go.

Also got charged the full rate for the private room, despite having to spend the night in a semi-private room due to no private rooms being available.

I wouldn't even care, if not for the threatening collection messages.

I had an awesome lunch meal at PitaLand Restaurant trillium hospital, really great restaurant. Thank you PitaLand for great food and excellent service.
Highly recommended that particular location. People are very friendly beside the delicious foods.

Don't go here if you try to commit suicide. They patch you up, and send you home and tell you to go "Read a nice book". This was at the Sherway Gardens location.

I accompanied my father to the Endo unit and everyone we encountered, from check-in, to the nurses, to patient discharge, as well as the volunteers were all excellent. They provided a warm and friendly atmosphere and were extremely polite and courteous. Couldn't have asked for more from a medical staff.

My child was about 18 months during her stay at the hospital, last April we were sent to the "RAZ" instead of the pediatrics department where my child waited in agony, pain and high fever for 8 hours before some doctor looked at her very briefly for just two minutes and then just ordered blood tests, and x rays when it was not needed, she just had some soar throat and high fever and cold. The nurses in the RAZ were not trained to draw blood from an 18 month old, they tried three times and the sample was rejected by the lab, and since my child was not drinking much fluid she could not produce a urine sample so they tried to persuade us in doing the cathoder method, but we declined. Finally after waiting for 12 hours at mid-night a pediatrician looked at our child and admitted her to get IV to restore fluids, but then again there was an old filipino nurse who was very rude and incorrectly attached the IV to my child's arm after only 1 hour she started bleeding heavily and when we called her and showed her she started blaming my wife for not holding the child properly when in fact the nurse had incorrectly attached the IV, then again after two days my child's entire arm swelled when the other nurse just removed the IV and then the doctor said we were free to go home, all this while my child's soar throat was worse and the high fever stayed and we were just told that this is a viral infection and that nothing could be done. We then finally went to our family doctor who gave my child antibiotics and with-in 24 hours our child started getting better the, fever was gone, the soar throat redness and pain went away and the cold went away. This was the worse hospital experience ever in my life and I hope no parent should go through this experience. The nurses and doctors need to be trained properly in med school and not experiment on patients and should be polite and should show some empathy for God's sake. We do pay taxes in this country for health care, it is not free.
