The most unorganized health facilities ever. I went to pre operation appointment booked, lady by name of Melissa canceled my appointment by herself. I was lucky that I called back and I found out about that. She gave me another day at 7: 30am, I called the day before to confirm it and she said my appointment is at 9am. Very, very unorganized.

How can a Health care be so irresponsible? I have to do CT scan and for the past three months my family doctor told me the clinic has faxed requisition 3-4 times. After repeated back and forth between clinic and THC, I provided all suggested fax numbers to my family doctor to resend again. For three months it never reached THC. Ultimately, last week I went to THC, Sherway garden and handed a copy of requisition and I was told I will receive an appointment details in mail. Calling THC after a week, my requisition is not in the system as if it never existed. First, I was mad at my family doctor, and now THC seems to fall under the same categories as my family doctor. What a mockery of the health system?

I took my son to the hospital emergency department, I was asked to pay $ 960 upfront. We left hospital because it’s obviously too expensive and a week later I’ve received a bill for $ 960! Trying to call them for clarifications but no one picks up phone and they also don’t reply to emails.

Not sure what scam this MRI clinic is running but they have been repeatedly calling me even though I’ve never been here nor do I live anywhere close to this place. I politely finally called them back to ask why they keep calling me and for them to stop as I’m not a patient, and the receptionist very angrily barked to me to tell her my first name last name and date of birth (?), not addressing anything I’ve said. I let her know I’m not going to give her my personal information but I’m happy to give her my phone number so she can check why I’ve been called as I’m NOT a patient she again yells to me “First name, last name. I have to verify your information before I can tell you why I’ve called. ”

Their admin is clearly disorganized, has no idea what they’re doing, and this angry woman just barks orders to people on the phone with zero decorum and doesn’t even bother trying to listen to what the person on the other side of the phone is saying.

Disgusting behaviour, cannot believe people who work in healthcare can have such terrible attitudes for no reason and it’s no surprise they have literally 2 stars lol gross

Horrible, abusive nurses. Treated me and my baby horribly when I gave birth back in 2017. The nurse was so rough with my newborn, even while giving him a bath. When I asked for another blanket because I was cold, she said no. The breastfeeding clinic nurses were also rude and disgusting. Literally SHOVED my newborns head into my breast. He was crying so hard.
Never again will I step foot in this place.

I have been to the ER for my children, they thoroughly assessed and evaluated each situation. And have consistently treated them effectively. The staff and doctors were incredibly kind and knowledgeable.

Dr. Sharon Kim in the fracture clinic is amazing. Hyper efficient yet kind and even very funny! I hope to never fracture anything again but if I do I'd want her to follow my injury again!

The worst service ever. I came for emergency. They didn’t what kind of pain I’m in. There were many people who felt pretty okay. I was in a deep pain for more than 24 hours. I couldn’t breath and I was moving barely. And when she called my name I came then she said the last name it wasn’t mine. And I asked how does it work as I came then because I’ve got an emergency. And some people still okay so you have to manège and ask first is it extremely bad or the situation is pretty ok. After that she said: “it’s not the chair for you. Don’t you see how many people sit there. ” So looks like if you come with a pain of finger and another one comes bleeding there gonna stay in the same line. More than that they gonna yell at you show you your place.

Waiting here in DI for over one hour. Every other patient has been in and out and I am still here. Literally the only one in the waiting room. I pulled number 60 from the ticket dispenser when I came in and they are now serving 72 when the next person walks in. I’m convinced all the technician are on lunch but no one is admitting that.

The plastic surgery doctor is very nice and respectful doctor.but EVERYONE ELSE are absolutely out of their minds, they support TYRANNY and dont know anything about HUMAN RIGHTS.when you walk in without a mask and tell them you're exempt instead of respecting the medical exemption they instead harrase and force you to wear a mask or leave the facility and not see your doctor. It is absolutely absurd and disgusting how much they go out of their way for something that makes no sense at all and (MASKS) ARE PROVEN to be USELESS against c19.
So this review isn't about a doctor but the ENTIRE HOSPITAL for DISCRIMINATION against HUMAN RIGHTS.

Went in to the surgical clinic for a minor procedure twice under the care of Dr Jemec. She is absolutely an amazing g doctor / surgeon. Dr Jemec and her team were great at helping me feel less anxious. Highly recommend Dr Jemec.

Bruh, the hospital made me wait 8 hours for a 5 mins diagnose. Failed to send my info to the surgical doctor via fax twice. Took 3 weeks to book a surgery and only tell me that OHIP won't cover for the surgery 5 minutes before getting into the surgical room.

Superb! 5 stars.

In hell tho.

Only complaint is a lack of signage throughout the property leaving many wandering to find where they should be.

It took me over an hour to take an Uber to this place for a dislocated shoulder, only for me to find out the emergency area is CLOSED? And has been for almost 2 years? !

Are they counting on people to just not have emergencies?

Place for non major/day surgery. Busy place and tight parking. $3 per 30 mins. Visiting Doctors and nursing staff is excellent. Process from check in to out explained properly. Help was available whenever needed. Covid protocols are still followed. There is line up for check in so make sure to reach 20 mins early if you can. Other emergency clinics are closed for now.

Staff were friendly and someone to direct you every step of the way. Security at the entrance directs you to the Covid Screening folks, who then direct you to Registration (take a number), who then direct you to your appointment location. The Surgery Clinic requires check in and check out the desk and has a large waiting area with washrooms and parking pay machines in the same area. Round about located near entrance for drop off and pick ups. I gave it a 4 because I didn't like that I had to drop off my test sample to Lifelabs in the building beside it.

The worst hospital in the GTA, terrible! Staff, management admin etc. Not only are they mean and aggressive with their patients they make up lies and withhold information- even though I am fully vaxxed they made it so difficult to see my dad. Don't come here unless you want bedsores and more ailments then what you came in with.
With everything there was some good, some of the nurses were very kind and took the time to listen which was appreciated.

Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE experience. The doctor hung up on me because I simply asked if they can see me in person? And there was no comprise AT ALL. He literally just say “no” and when I asked for more information or “why not? ” he hung up on me. I AM FURIOUS. My mouth and neck is soar, I have been told to go here from my family doctor immediately, I cannot believe I am being denied health care and being put through the “run-around” like this.a simple phone call to discuss how I can deal with my symptoms up until my telephone appointment in a few days. They also were not able to confirm my TELEPHONE appointment ‍️ I cannot believe this. I don’t even know what to do at this point.awesome

I had my biopsy here 3 weeks ago and everyone I met was helpful.
Many thanks to the staff at Betty Wallace unit. They are so kind and caring. They understood my needs and feelings and made sure I was okay. I had a wonderful experience here!

Went for my CT scan, everyone in that department was very accommodating, specially for me who's claustrophobic. The radiologist stood beside me while I was taking my CT scan. More power to him. May God and Allah bless him.

This clinics are not equipped for any therapy at all yet they say they are on the 5th floor or 4th floor. Yet there is only laying tables and a hand machine that fell on me. They wobble and not safe. Don't be fool and the doctors don't work for the public, they work only to benefit the wsib yet ohip pays for the visit even though tax payers fit the BILL.

Recently I got sent for a breast biopsy at the Queensway Health Centre. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Jagbir Khinda as well as the Womens Health Clinic. I was extremely nervous going into the biopsy for obvious reasons and was not sure what I was in for. Dr. Khinda was so kind, patient, thorough and walked me through the whole process step by step as he performed the biopsy. He took his time with me and allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed too. It turns out, there was little to no pain for the whole procedure and it was bigger in my head. He exemplifies what a doctor should be. A lot of the time doctors can be inpatient, too busy and brush off your concerns. I felt I was in good hands and I was taken care of very well. I can't say enough about him. Just a great person and wonderful. I told him I had been stressing greatly over this and assured me that this biopsy was more as a precaution and to ensure that it is nothing more. Thank you Dr. Khinda!

I also wanted to share that my experience with the Women's Health Clinic. Catherine had called me to schedule me in. She was so kind, wonderful and answered all my questions. She walked me through the whole process and assured me knowing I was nervous. The whole process was seamless and every single person I interacted with was wonderful.

I hope this gets to these wonderful people I have mentioned. Thank you for taking care of me!

I had knee replacement surgery on Wednesday 17th March. I would like to thank all of the staff at the Queen’s way health centre.
They were absolutely fantastic in dealing with me, from the reception to the discharge, every single person there was nothing but friendly, kind, courteous and professional. They allayed all my concerns and relaxed me prior to the operation and looked after me in recovery way beyond my expectations.
Thank you to all the staff at the hospital.

I had a terrible experience here a little while ago. I came in with the worst headache I had experienced so far in my life with a fever - I took painkillers before coming in because the pain was unbearable. As a result the triage nurse labelled me as a non-priority patient. I was there until after closing time waiting to be seen by a doctor. When he came in he asked me a few questions - where was the headache localized, to which I responded the back of my head, he asked if there was pain in my face, I responded no, he touched my sinus area and asked if there was any pain, I said no, he asked if I was congested and I said no. Yet he diagnosed me with a sinus infection. I had been there too long to argue so I just went home with that diagnosis and medication. I didn’t trust the opinion so I went to St Joe’s where they ran some tests and admitted me for 3 days because of acute traces of meningitis and swelling in the membranes covering the brain. I wouldn’t recommend this urgent care Center to anyone. Spend the time and go to St Joes.

Very poor experience.
Took my mother in law tere, because she felt and hurt her leg. She is the visitor and I have to pay 720$ in order to get checked. We're there for the 5 hours, thay just did x-ray and said that she has to go to see the specialist.we left without any informations regarding her injuries. After few days I recived bill from them in order to pay additional 120$ because thay claimed thet she was checked several times. Very sad experience.
Next day I took her to the walk-in clinic and they checked her and gave us all of the informations regarding the injury.

This is on my daughters ipad. My experience on Feb 10 2020 was excellent. I had surgery with Dr Yipand the OR staff and nurses were the best. They made me feel comfortable the nurse in the OR held my hand my overall experience with the hospital couldnt have been any better. Thanks to everyone that took care of me

Triage nurses need to learn to have care and patience when dealing with anyone in the public. Rudely treated when asking for the readout for the numbers in the waiting room. Who knows how the doctors are here but I can imagine they are worse. This health centre may want to think about how they work with people before it becomes a glorified parking lot for Sherway Gardens!

So I went to the urgent care @2 and left @9 and had A needle in my arm for four hours even the lady that registered me said “you’re still here? Omg” then after the doctor finally called me up and said “o sorry for the delay I don’t know what took so long” unorganized And short staffed I’ve been there all day just for them to tell me that There was nothing wrong

I went to this urgent care walk-in last night immediately following a bad experience with a careless doctor (who failed to diagnose my injury) at another small clinic. When I walked in I was concerned as there were so many people waiting. The staff worked efficiently and I was in and out (including an X-ray and splint) within 2 hours. Although it was busy, my doctor took the time to listen to me and explain his concerns with my injury. The Newfie man who applied my splint was the sweetest! I had a next morning appointment at the fracture clinic and now am casted and back on the mend.

The first clinic (elsewhere in the city) I was in and out of in 30 mins but had a cold and careless doctor who wasn’t thorough. Let me tell you, I was happy to wait the extra time and receive proper care from the physicians at Trillium!

The only real downside was the expensive parking which seems unnecessary given the location and amount of spots available.

Some of the staff here are friendly, helpful, and informative. But there are a few who are the absolute opposite. There is a lady called Grace at the physiotherapy section (older, short hair with glasses), she always answers shortly. Tbh I even get a bit of racist vibe from her. I've been sitting at the waiting area for hrs everytime and i see her greeting every patient by name with big smiles, except when asians come in. I may sound far-fetched but, i bet i am not the only one feeling this vibe from her if you are not caucasian.

I went in on Monday with severe fatigue and swelling in my neck/face (which I thought was swollen lymph nodes), along with some other symptoms. I saw a doctor for about 60 seconds - who barely looked at me, asked a couple of generic questions, and then ordered blood work - and then I waited in excruciating pain for two hours for the lab results. Every time I asked for something for the pain, or somewhere to lie down, I was dismissed as if I were a junky. Once the blood work finally came in, the doctor said it was a cold and told me to go home. Had she actually done a physical exam, however, she would have discovered that I had parotitis caused by the mumps (diagnosed today by a more competent physician in a different city). It was my salivary glands that were painfully swollen (and continued to swell over the next 3 days), not my lymph nodes, which she would have felt and seen in my mouth during a physical exam. Had I known that I had the mumps I would have isolated myself instead of attempting to fight through it in public. Who knows how many vulnerable people I’ve infected now! I’m very disappointed by the care I received here. Not only was I made to feel like I was being over dramatic about a cold, my symptoms were overlooked and I wasn’t taken seriously. I get that you’re busy, but a physical exam should be mandatory, especially at urgent care centres so that highly contagious, rare infectious diseases are identified. What a shame.

I went there recently for a stomach issue and I was pretty pleased with the experience. I found the doctor to be quite thorough and the wait time wasn't too bad. The nurses also seemed friendly and efficient. I have also been there once before with my daughter. The only negative I found was the admission process is a bit confusing and not very patient friendly. They have a sign on the wall explaining the check in process but if you don't see the sign or don't take the time to read it carefully it is confusing (especially when you are feeling sick and stressed). It would be nice if they could have a volunteer or staff person to direct you when you arrive. There is a lot of moving from one area to another and talking to different people to move through registration - not fun when you are sick or with a sick child. I went there in the evening both times and there was lots of parking right out front - downside though the parking is very expensive.

In reality, this clinic deserves zero stars, ZERO. I went to Urgent Care as my problem was too serious for a walk in clinic, and I thought I would get quicker care than in Emergency, as it was the middle of the day. I was taken in rather quickly, but then left unattended for about 2 hours. At one point, a nurse did come by and asked me, sarcastically; 'what exactly I was seeking. ' - hmm, perhaps medical care? !
Finally, I saw the Doctor (very briefly), who told me that I do not require any immediate care and that I should return if my symptoms lead me to faint, or worse. I will omit the details but later that evening, I ended up in the hospital.

You are better off going to a walk in clinic OR if you do have a serious condition, go to the emergency room.

Do not go to Trillium Urgent Care. You will wait 3-5 hrs! I waited 4 hrs for a shoulder injury only to be told to come back again several days later for an ultrasound because they were to busy to do it the same day! Next visit was another 4 hrs to do the ultrasound even with an appointment time slot scheduled! The wait times at this facility are actually significantly longer than any of the surround hospital emergencie dept.they used to be good many years ago but the care, service and wait times have worsened over the years. They are now one of the worse in the GTA.

So as I'm writing this review my daughter is at trillium urgent care waiting for a doctor to see her. She got a first degree burn at work and thought it would be quicker for someone to see her and its close to home. I picked her up from work, got to trillium about 8: 45pm the triage nurse registered her about 9: 00pm. I had to leave so i can come home and put my 3 year old to bed. The triage nurse said they would give her something for the pain, well I just spoke with my daughter and 2 1/2 hours later she still has nothing, the triage nurse didn't put it was a workplace injury in her chart.shes been asking for something for the pain and they keep telling her to hold on or ignore her this is one HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place. NEVER EVER GO HERE, your better off just going to the hospital. THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR

So upset with this urgent care! I came here with horrendous pain in my left shoulder and couldn’t even move my arm. Saw the doctor and told them I had an X-ray done a week ago from another urgent care, nothing was broken, but they didn’t do an ultrasound because apparently “they don’t have ultrasound machines”, so I went here. The doctor sent me for another X-ray and wouldn’t send me for an ultrasound since apparently he KNEW without a doubt what it was and said I have something called frozen shoulder. He explained that it will take 2-3 years to heal and I might never get back full mobility in my shoulder. I left upset, confused, scared because I thought I would live with this pain for the rest of my life! I was in tears because he told me that I would have to have a steroid injection that MIGHT help my pain, but this could lead to surgery. I went to my appointment I had with my family doctor, a week later (only reason I went to urgent care was because my family doctor wasn’t available until the following week) and explained to her the doctors diagnosis, and she said that she was confused to why they didn’t do an ultrasound before scaring me half to death. She was unsatisfied with the doctors diagnosis and sent me for an ultrasound. Come to find out I don’t have frozen shoulder, I have subacromial bursitis (inflammation)! This clinic is unprofessional! The doctor was an arrogant jerk who should retire because if my doctor took his word and didn’t do her job, I would be having steroid shots in my shoulder for no reason! Will never go to this clinic again, no matter what the situation is!

Do Yourself a favour & Don't Go There!
Today, my mother waited 4hrs in severe hip pain that she had for a week, to see a doctor there. Are we in Canada or some 3rd world county?
She gave up, she coukd not wait longer in such pain.
2yrs ago my father had inflamed gallbladder, ready to burst, had to wait in pain for hours too, before he got examined & then rushed for operation.
From 11-3pm to see a doctor?
This is crazy unreasonable wait time.

Sorry for this lengthy post - but sharing my painful experience at this clinic today!

Doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. That's why this clinic gets 1 star. The doctor visit was quick and upon checkup, he indicated that it was flu symptoms, and that the blood work and chest x-ray he had prescribed was to check on malaria as we had traveled back to Toronto mid-Feb.

Overall experience is extremely poor - understaffed, and rudeness written all over with the condescending tone. Patients: My wife and I. Time in this clinic - 1 hr for Triage, 35 mins for doctor to show up, doctor check up for 5 mins, 30 mins wait for lab technician/nurse to show up for blood work.

1. If you anticipate (if not practive, at least reactive!) an increase in patient inflow, should one not consider increasing the triage nurses and the number of doctors? One nurse in triage (with one other stepped in perhaps because it was near closing time). One doctor running around checking 100+patients. Obviously, unnecessary waiting time could have been reduced.

2. Rudeness -
2a. RN - The doctor did not show up after we checked in. When enquired, the RN said you have just been here about 30 mins, this is a walk-in clinic - not an emergency - so wait in your room.

2b.lab technician/nurse -
(i) The doctor wrote up the blood work request. The lab technician did not show up for another 30 mins. When enquired, I was told that there are 2 nurses, and that they were busy. Both the ladies were sitting right in front of me - one was reading a magazine, and the other, at least appeared to have a blood request paper in her hands.

(ii) When the nurse walked in to the room, I was on the phone checking up on my 5-yr old daughter as it was getting late (9: 30pm) for her dinner. By then, the nurse had started taking the blood from my wife. Upon asking, the nurse said it would take at least 1 hr for the blood work to come back, I decided not to go for the blood work. Now, the nurse wanted my wife to stay back as her blood was taken. When we told her we were leaving and that she can send the blood test results to my family doctor, she had the audacity to tell us that we were wasting government money. Then she continued on to ask if we would want our chest x-ray done. Isnt that laughable?
Btw, if this was a walk-in clinic, can they not send the blood work to my family doctor? How about the time she was reading the magazine while getting paid? Is this how the nurses are trained? Why are patients treated this way? Mind you - it is the patients that is generating revenue for the doctors and nurses to get paid!
