Garbage hospital. Its a scam.people waste so much time doing slow work and very casual approach towards patients.wait time is forever.so called developed country with garbage service

I wish I could rate their ER department with zero stars. The nurses were rude, and the ER doctor was incompetent. They completely ignored my mom's high-risk situation and urgent care needs. I witnessed many people leave after waiting for hours to see a doctor, including a parent with a very sick infant.

Long wait is expected at emergency hospital but this hospital is next level! Never again!

Had an extremely awful time and experience with the nurse. Don’t know her name, she works at the registration office at 12pm, she has short black hair up to shoulder. She was yelling at me and tell me to listen as if I didn’t speak English and she warned me many times to listen when I was listening … maybe she had an awful time with her work, but I think she needs to understand that we all deserve to feel safe and secure and respected and that what’s written of the sign in the lobby of the emergency, … anyone know a complaint number so I can call and complain?

My mom and I came and waited 2-3 hours before we got to see a doctor. After that time we seen a Dr Michael Ryan Cohen. He was incredibly empathetic, reassuring and gave my mom the peace of mind she needed. She was so grateful for his immediate understanding of her condition. A huge thanks to him!

Bad experience! Doctors don't work in ER, only interns who say they are doctors do! If Doctors are having interns treat the patient, at least guide the intern! Doctors, do your part to see the patient before and after any procedure! Common sense. When you cut into the skin to remove something, you have to clean/flush it out afterwards! Leaving it open, not finishing the procedure and then having someone come along to just dress it? Insane! My discharge papers also had a name of a Male Doctor.that DID NOT treat me, but a young female intern who said she was a Doctor!

Worst experience with trillium patients relation office. They don’t even have control over the physicians office to get the forms.they will make us wait like forever and when called they will say they can’t do anything about it. The process will be so fast until we pay.we might not be able to get the claims processed.

DO NOT VISIT the EMERGENCY here. Waiting for more than 4 hours and still have not been seen by a doctor. I am aware of the wait times in all the hospitals but I have been to st. Joes and Toronto Western hospital. Usually when you first check in the nurse will check on you and then you wait a doctor comes by 1-2 hour later and will instruct with whatever test needs to be done. Here, no one did any pre-assessment and we have been sent from the triage to RAFt. After waiting for 3 hours outside raft area, we were called and sat down on a bed. Now it’s been an hour since we were given a bed and not one person came to check in. It’s a DISASTER!

Now I know why the hospital only 2 Start never get better they all not caring for peoples in pain or kids hight fever wait for 6H to see a docter and peoples work there not nice and mean

Extremely short staffed and most of the time only one nurse entering you into the system as well as checking your blood pressure and doing your ECG literally at the same time. Even if you enter with high priority, you'll have to wait so long that you will definitely get a headache just waiting for a nurse to check in on you before the only doctor in the entire department comes in an spends only a couple of minutes with you, then disappears for another hour.

I had the worst experience coming to this hospital. I fall from the stairs and I can barely move, came through emergency at 10: 00am and it’s already 12.30pm and still waiting for a doctor to check me.

Terrible hospital. Incompetent and clueless staff. Sub-par experience. Take your loved one somewhere else.

By far the WORST hospital I have ever been to. I don't even know how to explain how bad experience was that. I went there with excruciating pain and waited there for almost 4 hours before seeing a doctor for which I am not complaining because I know the wait times are really bad everywhere. But the worst part part was the staff and doctors. Nobody had any clue of what was happening there. The doctor who saw me clearly doesn't know how to diagnose a patient. And the nurses were no better. I wonder what happened to their bed side manner. Around hour 6, one of the nurses told me I am all set to go, just the doctor has to see me out. And it took 3 hours for the doctor to discharge me. I feel bad for the people who has to go to this place. I don’t know about the whole hospital but their ER is the worst. I dont recommend anyone to this hospital.

My mother was in emergency and she wait for 6 hours for the nurse only, after that we have to take her home and then other hospital, don’t go there if it’s emergency,

I am waiting to see doctor from 12: 00am (midnight) to 8: 00am (morning) and still waiting!

It is a regional and teaching hospital in Mississauga Ontario Canada. It is specialized in Stroke, Cardiac, and Neurological Care for the the residents in the central and southern Mississauga area. Waited 9 hours with my baby on a Saturday morning 630 am. One doctor in all of emergency! If there’s an emergency this is NOT the hospital to go to unfortunately: (

Stefany, latino lady on reception probably should change her profesion! Bloodied cold women, after 4 h waiting from midnight till
4 o'clock in fully erconditioned lobby on 12° getting even more sick, telling her how I can't be there anymore so I must cancel waiting or I am going to be more sick.coffing non stop with extreme chest pains, her answer was GO AND FIND FAMILY DOCTOR! Not even think to offer blanket or anything what can help, unfortunately this hospital have workers like Stefany

I do not even understand how the emergency centre is working? My friend was waiting for over 3 hours and kept waiting and waiting, even he broke his leg, got hurt so much, and CAN NOT walk or move his leg. DOES THAT CONSIDER AS URGENT AND EMERGENCY?
The only thing he got at this ridiculous hospital was a wheelchair!

What kind of hospital is this? Do they actually CARE about people? Why this HOSPITAL still exists while they having so many complaints and nothing change?

You rather go to another hospital than wait and go to Trillium Hospital to DIE!

Great experience, people are so friendly here, highly recommend. The wait time is less than 30min. 住密西的朋友，要是遇到紧急情况，可以来这里看病，挺方便的。

Another level of service, the nurses, the staff amazing, always helpful, quick & accessible,

Didn't have to wait long. Initial triage was less than 15 mins as there were 4 nurses doing the initial triage.

Standing here in waiting line with acute appendicitis and all the counters for registration are free, these staff are just chit chatting and using their phones. Incompetency of govt can be seen here. None of them are getting my vote ever in the future.

I'd rather die at home than to be standing in a line any longer. How can it be emergency when u ask for pain killer all u r told is to go wait in the line after waiting for 2 hrs. Ridiculous

This place is a joke. I went to my family doctor for stomach pains, was told to go to emergency because I may have appendicitis… it’s been 3 and a half hours of me sitting in pain and I still haven’t been seen by a doctor. What a joke of our tax dollars.

30 min ago left your place (Trillium ER out of Mississauga Hurontario/Queensway) The worst experience ever in my life, I hope not in life of my son.
With security screening check, than in line when he is in pain, and again 4 different windows/wickets with repetitive quastionare.
Total waiting time 3.5 hours with crying child - it's a shame. My patience bursted after unclearified ETA of a doctor (another 45min to one hour). Now we in best hands of another hospital, with all together waiting time to see a specialist only 20 min.
You won't see me on your doorstep.

Waited 4 hours in the waiting room to be called in and doctor showed up to tell me I should of went to my doctors and told me he doesn’t think it’s food poisoning even tho he didn’t even test my blood or stool or anything when 2 over the phone nurses told me it’s food poisoning and I need to go to the hospital because of blood ….

Very sad. The emergency room at Mississauga Trillium is not well organized. To get in line to SEE the triage (the first line of defence) you must wait in line. I waited the other night for about 45 minutes just to see the triage nurse. I might add that you are standing in front of the registration nurses who don’t seem to be doing much. And there is about 5 feet from the line up to the waiting chairs. Really difficult to get through especially with a wheelchair. God help them if there is a fire. At Triage some people move fast some move slowly. I was quick but one lady once she got to the booth went to the bathroom. She was gone 22 minutes and the nurse “ waited” really. Registration was actually fast. Behind the “ golden doors” there were many really good caring staff working hard to get people processed and to ease their comfort.others 3 nurses in one area WERE ON THEIR PHONE OR TALKING. REALLY.can’t someone get up and help TRIAGE! I know “ it’s a different department “. But private companies find you something to do if you’re not busy. How can they just sit there. It’s so boring. But I guess they can do it for what the are paid. The rest of the nurses and Dr’s were FANTASTIC. Hard working. But why was there only one doctor in the ENTIRE Hail (?) area. Honestly. Cut the nurses and add another doctor or at least another intern. Have an administrator overseeing wait time, signing documents getting some nurses to actually do something.
This is not the dark ages. Chop chop!
And there is a new hospital being built. Let’s hope there are more staff. Seems a waste to spend so much money on a facility just to scrimp on the staff.

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. I highly suggest you treat them like humans as they will do the same to you

Most horrible experience ever in my life! Waited 8HRS talked to nurse, doctor, crisis doctor, asked you the same questions.after did some personal assesment they released you and only to find out I just need to see a psychiatrist for my mental health. I dont understand why do they let you wait for whole day for it.

Don't go here. They don't take you seriously even when you come in thinking it's a heart attack. One of triage nurses is quite disrespectful. They sent me for xray, waited an hour as no one knew I was even waiting there. The wait time is extremely bad although this is common in all Ontario hospitals I've been to. They also don't seem to put you in isolation even with covid symptoms.

What a joke of a hospital can do ultrasound past 3pm lol.

Never go here.the wait times are crazy and no support provided.funny thing is it took the doctor 1 hr just to print the prescription and give it to me.seriously needs some improvement

I am currently sitting in emerg with epic lower back pain, as I have been for the past 3 hours… I still have not been seen by anyone, they refuse to let me lay down…. I can barely walk yet their waiting room chairs are the best solution they have to offer (along with a Tylenol). I even explained that I am having issues with bladder, and the response was ‘we are very busy today’. This ‘hospital’ is an absolute JOKE. Being here and forced to sit in a waiting room chair is more painful than the pain that had originally made me come here in the first place. Glad to see they know the meaning of EMERGENCY, and really do their best to keep their patients comfortable. PATHETIC! They deserve negative stars. Never again will I set foot in this god awful place.

Terrible experience. 3+ hour wait (on a Sunday evening during a “lull”) before you’ll see a doctor. 4 nurses couldn’t draw blood for me. Ended up walking out and going somewhere else. Don’t waste your time!

Many amazing people work here. My problem is with the hospital and select doctors and nurses.

My mom died because she was not a candidate for major surgery. An emergency surgery was ordered without biopsy, without proper consultation of a gastroenterologist.
She didn’t want the surgery, and was persuaded to because “we are very busy and you might not be able to have this surgery next time”

My mother “tolerated the surgery well” then deteriorated in hospital 20 days after on the unmonitored floor. When she was sent up to ICU, there was no staff available to operate the dialysis machine, an EMCO Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine was not used (it could have given her time to heal), mom died in less the 24 hrs. She was 62.

Canada has a cast system especially when it comes to medical malpractice situations. We took this as far as we could and and received generic responses, unfortunately this is probably a very common situation that will not change.

Should have went to Toronto general hospital or sunnybrook.

Came in for a small cut on finger that I wasn't even gonna stitch but got convinced by family to do so. Was told at registration that only one person ahead of me. It's been 4 hours and I'm still in the exact room that I've been put in 10 min after I came in.

The wait time was very minimal thanks to the RAZ. The care team was thorough and dedicated. Big kudos to them!
