Trombly's Tackle Box

I’ve always heard about Tromblys on Lake Simcoe Ice fishing and finally had a chance to make it there today. What a place. Borderline overwhelming with how much fishing stuff they have and the staff was fantastic. The place has a certain old school nostalgia about it which I loved. Can’t wait to go back! Didn’t catch his name but had a great chat with an older gentleman in the tackle area who let me in on a few old school secrets. Happy holidays and tight lines!

I live in Lindsay and go up to Trombly's a few times a year. I think it's important to not only shop local, but to shop at the smaller businesses. I find that Trombly's has a very large selection of outdoor goods, although I go there almost strictly for fishing items. I find that they carry a very relevant selection, trimming most of the lower end items in favour of better items. I also cannot stress enough that their prices are very competitive. Their service is very good as well and you can find a sales associate easily if they haven't asked to help you already. One thing though, last time we were there one sales associate laid on the service a bit too much.

If they don't have it.you don't need it. Fishing and water sports galore. And a nice selection of firearm needs upstairs

Great bait and tackle store. Tromblys has a little of everything. Staff are knowledgeable and always willing to help. If you need anything for fishing and you're in the Orillia area, this is the place to go.

I came with my 13 year old for the first time. They treated him like their own. He left so happy. Prices were fantastic but the family that works there there is awesome!

Great selection, major brands here. Great stop for archery, hunting, fishing. Know your prices though, as it can be hit or miss here.

Jeff spent some time educating us on the various types of paddle boards and the pros and cons of each. He had a great sense of humour and was very personable and welcoming. He’s a real asset to the company IMO.

I drove 1-1/2 hrs each way, but I feel it was definitely worth it. I called ahead and they put a ice hut aside for me. When I got there, there was knowledgeable staff available to answer questions and save time by helping me find stuff quicker (tons of stuff to go through!) Check out staff were awesome too. Actually, I had direct interaction with 5 different staff members and every one was super friendly and helpful. The only problem I have with this place is that it's so far away.

Nancy has gone out of her way to help me find a very low cost item and ship it to me. The manufacturer no longer makes this piece but recommended I try Tromblys. Amazing that they had one. I highly recommend them for top notch service.

Great business with great service nothing but good advice and smiles. Best bait in zone 16 with big shiners

Always the latest stuff for just about every outdoor activity there is. Also get everything you need for hunting, fishing, camping. You can get your temporary fishing license here great for kids gear. Prices are reasonable and always have lots of sales going on daily. Staff are a wonderful bunch with lots of Knowledge about the outdoors, safety, proper use of equipment. Have fun!

Lots of options for kayaks and SUPs used and news.
They also sell high end BBQs, outside furniture sets. Muskoka chairs. Saunas, and problem more stuff that I am not aware. Totally worth the visit.
Staff super friendly.
The only thing that I don’t like is that there is no price tag on any item. So you need someone to look that up for you. Which for me I really dislike. I like to narrow down the options and ask for someone when I have more questions and agreed on the price already. I don’t like that “how much is this, and that, and that “
