Tropical Island Caribbean Restaurant

I live in Scarborough and if I'm craving Caribbean food I will drive on the 407 to get this food everytime. The coleslaw and Mac salad are killer, bbq chicken, jerk chicken, oxtail.literally everything I've tried has been a 10/10.

Good quality food! I got cowfoot soup, it was almost done by 130pm so if your going for soup, go early. The atomsphere clean, it's winter so most people aren't sitting. I sat with my son, comfortably. Got him a mild patty. It was warm and fresh. Also, there was a Friendly, smiling black guy at the front, I think his name was Robert taking and serving orders, that is essential to serving all cultures and all people! I saw Indian people, white, bussiness men, chinese and more come inside for food, happily and comfortably. This means that the atomsphere of people behind the counter including the chef put love and blessings in their food. Come on, you know when something is made with love or not! So to see a smiling face and good team members collaborating in a Caribbean Restaurant that says alot about the everyone hired and cooking- Especially when your hungry! I will return. Maybe grab a vip card next time when I sample the other food options. Cheers

If you want true, authentic Caribbean food, you need to come here. The food is amazing fresh and great service and the owner is a true sweetheart.

It's a good place don't get me wrong but I feel like the chicken is a little too soft so I decided to put it in my broiler for some crunch and it only go softer not sure why if it's the quality of the meat or its because it's backed I usually like that plump fresh bounce o the chicken that contains its juices so I hope it gets better been going there for years and every management the chicken. Us all the same soft and softer that's why I don't go to many Chinese restaurants because of the meat quality is lower then other places you can't blame them. For wanting to make money but I see it in Carribean restaurants too for the most part that's why I'll buy their rice and go get meat l from somewhere else or cook it yourself but once you do cook. It yourself you'll know the difference and what I'm talking about

I love the food however the server spoke to another woman said it wasn't my business and charged me a extra dollar without letting me know also told the cashier but not myself I over heard it. Can't trust ppl can't trust the food

If you cant get to Jamaica but want real jerk chickennor goat curry, come here. Order trays. It disappears every time we order for an event. Also, staff was super helpful and so nice.

Amazing place to get some Caribbean food I highly recommend the boneless options and the macaroni salad. Employees are good too. Plenty of clean tables to dine in.

This is most advance Hollywood style carribean restaurant. The class is outstanding and the food Is consistent from year to year. Auntie Bev is one of the greatest restauranter in the country. No competetion at all. Workers are respectful and growng from day to day to make customer experience the best in Canada. Pls keep it up and don't stop

Catering was fantastic. Authentic flavours, not just jar sause. Highly recommend. Price service and atmosphere were all great. I will be returning.

We had an excellent time here, really hit the spot. The only downside was they are so popular they had already sold out of ackee and salt fish, sucked because we drove 20 minutes out of our way for Jamaican breakfast.

The oxtail is very good. Rice and peas very good and fried dumplings. The curried goat was good.

The flavours were absolutely succulent, you can tell the food was prepared with care and dedication. 10/10 would recommend!

The best Caribbean food I’ve ever tasted, now I can proudly say I enjoyed food in Canada and not miss South African food no more, I highly recommend this place. This is my new favourite place now. Thank you
