Fantastic food, great service and chill atmosphere. The Manager, Reagan, always goes above and beyond and Kim, our server, is always attentive and considerate. Make sure to pay them a visit!

Worked here for a month a bit and the owner is disrespectful and lacks basic customer service skills. I thought he was different from the vibe he gave off during the interview but clearly I was wrong.he dismissed me from my shift because I was 5 minutes late which I let them know I was running behind due to traffic. I still have outstanding wages that haven’t been paid to me since I left back in May and he refuses to answer any of my emails in regards to this matter. I hired a paralegal and he still ignored the emails.my parents also went to dine in during the time I worked there (I wasn’t scheduled that day) and they hated the food as they described it as tasteless and some things they ordered were very salty, the music is so loud that the waitstaff can’t even hear you properly so orders get messed up consistently.they also do not give you water unless you ask which it’s just common practise to serve water to those dining in. 0/10.

I've never had such terrible bland food. It had no love in it, I had ordered their house special chow mein. I would have had better food in the Scarborough Town Centre food court.

The waitress was awesome and her hand for drinks was the saving grace for this establishment.

Ya'll most def missed the mark here, sadly it even needed salt. Do yall chefs not taste whats going out?

Few friends met up here for few drinks and dinner. Everything was great till the DJ setup his equipment and started to play music. They play great music and the atmosphere is nice as well.

Note to self: 11pm onwards u will not be able have a conversation inside the place.

There was someone who were serving my food to my table that couldn't speak and took my food to a next table and the customer from that table was about to go eat my food it was my birthday myself and my family food went to the wrong table I am still upset about going back to that restaurant also the tip was already added to my bill without my permission.

This place needs some work. Floors are sticky and smell. Bathrooms are disgusting. I cannot eat here. Service is another story. SLOW!

Crowed. No service. Waitress is running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Hire more people. No seating available. Security are rude and rough. No etiquette whatsoever

I was so excited to come here and try the food out in this restaurant but turned out to be very disappointing when I seen a cockroach in the woman’s bathroom i could only imagine where they’re coming from and it must be the kitchen considering the kitchen is near the bathroom so sadly I left.

Excellent Experience, they have a large outdoor patio and bar with the sounds of the Caribbean playing from sound system. I believe they also provide live entertainment from time to time.
Drinks were great and food was also very good. I did however, find my meal not as hot as I would have liked it.
My server was friendly and professional, I will return. Thank you for a great experience.

Tropical Nights you need more kitchen staff. Caribana weekend you should anticipate a demand for your food and drinks.
I was there on Friday 29 and ordered 2 sets of chicken wings at approximately 10: 30 pm and didn't get served until 12: 30 am when we were leaving. Iana did a great job apologizing. My 2 US friends were not impressed.
I dropped in on Monday August 01 at approx 8pm for room with my family. The roti and curry came about 845 and the low mein arrived at 9: 35. Again, our server was great updating us.
I opserved a number of patrons were refused service because of capicty issue.
You just lost a patron.for life

Always great food and a good time. Can't go wrong with the bucket of beer for $20.

Proper roof top chill low key amazing music great food outstanding vibes it's almost "lit" here weekends! Had an amazing carribean Fiesta this weekend! Server's are great

Good food. Great deals on alcoholic beverages. It gets busy on the weekends. Their pepper shrimp / import beers bucket deal is my favorite. They also have a brunch buffet on Sundays. Service is usually fast.

Very cool place! I just visited for the first time. The rooftop had a great party vibe. I got my food to go, but would love to try the rooftop for dinner. I got the vegetable chow mein. Delicious.

Food is tasty. Drinks were good. Patio was nice! We even had the good year blimp fly over us and sun lime presented some of their costumes as a pre-show for Caribana

Ive been here a few times in the past and have always enjoyed it here. My last visit was different. I went to hang out with good friends I havent seen since 2019. It was great to see my brothers and the vibe/energy at tropical nights was amazing. It was very busy, the energy on the patio was electric; the dj was amazing. Pure wicked tunes all night. Our waitress was awesome too. She was very fun and friendly. The rum punch was delicious and had a serious punch and the food we had from the BBQ was delish. The night couldn't have been better. I highly recommend this spot for an authentic Caribbean lime.

I went to Tropical Nights Restaurant with my family for my anniversary. We were vacationing from USA. It was the first time we been there as I goggled the restaurant- I am so glad we did - it was one of the best experience ever. We were seated on the patio, there was live music, the atmosphere was just right and the waitress, the guards and all the workers were very accommodating. I would totally go back there with my family. Only downside was we were given paper plates and forks to eat with. Overall it was a great experience

Sunday evening patio with DJ entertainment and great west Indian atmosphere! Can't really go wrong. Food was "ok", but nice spot for a lime!

It was okay the dance floor was empty. And suddenly they started playing i dont know what songs. It was irritating and we left

The service was great, the drinks were great however the food was the problem, we weren't told or made aware that one dish could feed two persons, the food smelled weird and the noodles which I usually order from any Chinese restaurant was made with chilly peppers for the first time ever, that was not cool

Went for brunch. Food tasted ok. Waitress offered drinks without mentioning they were extra. Service was slow due to lack of servers.

Restaurant prefers to throw away leftovers of food rather than let you take food you have already half eaten or charge 7 dollars for you to take it. So you pay once and have to pay again to take your remainder. I understand it's a brunch but I already paid, why can't I take what is left on my plate. Not sure I will be back.

Today I bought two tropical nights fried rice for almost $36 the same fried rice a few months back I paid less than $27. The fried rice was the worse I have ever had at this place and with the increase of the price it is not worth it. Tasteless and stale. Never Again Tropical Nights. I should have gone to District Lounge instead tried to save gas money and i ended up with a 2 fried rice that was not worth a penny.

The place is horrible and i would give it a zero if I could. Hostess stand charged us $10 each to get in, told us we could sit anywhere and dine in, & that we didn't need a reservation. A few moments later this rude and unprofessional employee, real definition of a wasteman, comes around saying we can't sit there and he has to take the table outside. I told him what the hostess had just told us, he says she doesnt work with him like tf? Offered no accomodations, told us we would have to eat our food standing up at the bar. That's when I decided I wasn't going to spend my hard earned money with an establishment that doesn't care about its customers and treats them like dogs. I expect class when I go out, and will spend $500 on average to have a good time when the place is worth it. They will never have my business again. Come here if you want attitude and heavy sighs. Worst service i have ever experienced. Go anywhere else, the city has many other places that are way better than this dump.

Second time I’m ordering food here, first I thought maybe because it was on weekends and cooks are not the same but then I order in the weekend and still the same. Tasteless chicken fried rice. Fried chicken was good but fried rice not so, an embarrassment to West Indians restaurant

Enjoyed Tropical Nights - great roti- authentic and made on site. Curries were also super and the love music.

Great live djs every evening. Rooftop patio is really nice. The wings are awesome. Drink prices are very reasonable.

We have been going to Tropical Nights for years and the atmosphere is very good, the music some times is a hit or miss, prices are very good, staff is friendly but where this place really lacks is when it comes to getting your food order, it has taken two hours sometimes and regularly is an hour at least. Kitchen is extremely unreliable.

Ordered for pickup, made the server (Lisa) repeat order, still received regular Chicken chowmein instead of the Tropical Nights special mix chowmein. Simple request too difficult?

Omg! It is such a vibe here at Tropical Nights Restaurant and Lounge. The music is great and even though it’s mostly a Caribbean sort of vibe, there is definitely a mixed crowd that just blends into one big family. I absolutely love the outdoors idea. I recommend this place to EVERYONE! You gotta go once atleast. No regrets!

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing patio. Food was okay.long wait times. But the atmosphere is beautiful. Maybe just order drinks.

The professional bouncer guard guy there at 3pm on a weekday afternoon makes me feel safe and sound not that a fight would realistically pop off while the sun's up but hey

Excellent and very fun spot in Toronto. The food is always fresh and served hot and the drinks are served ice cold. Their pepper shrimp is hands down the best in Canada. Will be back very soon!

Our waitress insisted we had more drinks than we ordered. Not sure if she mistakenly mixed up our bill with another table or it was deliberate. BEWARE - check your bill thoroughly.

Loved the roof top patio, food was very tasty, drinks were good! Chilli chicken wasn't that good and definitely didn't like that they used plastic plates, cups and cutlery. Overall very good time, will be back.

BEAWARE! Rude staff/management! Food made my friend sick, food poisoning or expired old food they serving. Already reached out to Toronto Public Health. Decent place for drinks but avoid food. Eat at your own risk.

The food here is delicious and well priced. Highly recommend the chilli fish (we prefer dry), shrimp fried rice, and the chicken wings!

Half a Star or No Star, if I can. Picked up a vegetarian chow mein, paid $10.75 for it (felt over priced, I'm assuming cause of the pandemic, but not complaining cause I usually get food here and it's always)

But today I got next to nothing for what I paid for? The take-out was less the half of the portion.

I just ordered food from this restaurant and it was burned. I called to advise them and no offer of how it could be made better. NOTHING just a weak apology. $53 in food. Not impressed at all! The chicken was dry, onions in the fried rice burned, rice burned. Ruined dinner after a long week.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is fantastic and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative.always when we visit this place we have a lovely evening.highly recommended.

This restaurant is my favored. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The team is very amicable and the cuisine they cook is so yummy. I am always happy to have a nice dinner here. Highly recommended.

A trip to tropical nights will leave you really feeling like you're in the Caribbean. We absolutely love this place. You can hear the music blasting from a mile away - there's always a party going on in here. Don't expect much quiet if you make a stop at this place.

There isn't as much food on the menu as there used to be, but you can still enjoy great food. We suggest you try everything on the menu, but if you have to narrow it down, start with the pepper shrimp.

Yesterday was the first time we visited this fine restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the high quality meal and booze and with the comfortable charge. We will absolutely return there again.

From the first moment you arrive in this restaurant the personel give you a great feeling. Very warm waiters, it is a good restaurant to hang out with friends or with your date.delightful cuisine, talented chef, decent cost and nice service. Highly recommended.

If I could give no stars, I would. Decided to buy a portion of wings with a side of french fries. To my digusting surprise, I bit into one of the wings and discovered it had an unsettling rotten odor. I am so upset. This is the second time this establishment has dissappointed me. However, this time due to their negligence I was served rotten meat coated in batter, then deep fried. I will NEVER spend another dollar here. BUYER BEWARE, MASKED ROTTEN FOOD ALERT!

Food is good and a little more pricier than most West Indian places which I don’t mind paying for good food but they are extremely cheap with their peppersauce. The last few times, I ordered $50-$100 worth of food, I asked for extra peppersauce and they said they can only give out their ‘standard amount’ which was 3 tiny containers that only hold about 1 teaspoon in each.really disappointing. Next time I will do take out from The Avenue as they give a lot of peppersauce and their food is equally as good. Cheers!
