Trout Haven Park

I stopped by for the Geocache on the edge of the property. They keep the area clean, clear of any debris, well maintained from someone who doesn’t actually bring or have a trailer or single / double wide to rent. I hear the stocked pond makes for some great fishing

Great! From time to time you can hear the train passing, apart from that absolutely silent and a lot of permanent residents.

What a great little campground so close to town. We went labour day weekend for a camping trip close to home. They had great trout fishing, a live band, and all the amenities just 5 mins away. The restrooms were spacious and clean, the water was filtered and UV treated, and the staff were amazing. We stayed in our RV so I cannot comment on the cabins, but they looked super cute. Wether you bring your RV, tent, or rent a cabin, you will enjoy this quaint getaway close to town.

The people were very friendly. We stayed 1 night on our way to visit friends. The park is clean and quiet. On our way back home we stayed another night. My husband had forgotten some camping items on our 1st trip and they were returned to him during our 2nd stay.

It was my first time camping, the area was very clean, quiet and the owner was very accommodating and welcoming. It was also our group’s first time fishing. We caught 7 big trouts. This place is a must to revisit.

Awful! Daughter booked several months earlier. Got there and they jacked up the price $25/night. The owner was rude and didn’t care that she quoted the wrong price. Got to the site. It was so small the bump outs hung over into other sites. The was a sewage drain with a garbage can lid on it. We have a 2 yo with us! Not safe at all. The whole stay was totally bizarre. Never will recommend this place.
