Purchasing a vehicle should be a memorable and gratifying experience, not a succession of hurdles. As a recent buyer from this dealership, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative, filled with ongoing issues and a lack of professional customer service.

To start with, I opted for financing my car through the dealership at an interest rate of 17%. This high rate should have guaranteed me a flawless vehicle and exceptional customer service, but the reality has been far from that.

Just to illustrate the severity of my situation, I have had to visit the dealership no less than seven times within just a month after purchasing the car. For anyone familiar with the thrill and peace of mind of acquiring a new car, this level of inconvenience and unreliability is absolutely unacceptable.

The first red flag was when the car's fender liner came off only a day after the purchase, a clear failure of their quality control. Then, my car battery died en route to work and I had to tow the vehicle to the dealership. They kept the car for a couple of days without providing a spare vehicle, which added to my inconvenience.

When I retrieved the car, Alan, their mechanic, claimed that they had test-driven the vehicle for about 80km. However, this didn't match up with the mileage on the vehicle before I had left it with them. Confronted with this discrepancy, Alan chose to avoid addressing the issue and even started refusing to talk to me.

When I escalated the issue to the owner, instead of providing a plausible explanation or solution, he simply claimed they had refueled my car - a statement that hardly addressed the mileage discrepancy issue.

Further exacerbating the situation, Andrea, the sales representative, blocked my number, refusing to engage in any further communication. To say this action was unprofessional would be an understatement.

Moreover, I also purchased a year-long warranty for an additional $700, which is supposed to give buyers peace of mind and assurance of post-purchase service. Sadly, this warranty hasn't delivered on its promise, as my numerous visits to the dealership and their lack of effective resolution can attest to.

I am thus left with no option but to give this dealership a one-star rating. For anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I would strongly advise caution. Ensure all possible quality concerns are thoroughly checked and be prepared for a potential lack of support and professionalism post-purchase.

I am writing this review in hopes of saving others from the hassle and frustration I've been through. In conclusion, do consider your options carefully before choosing to do business with this dealership.

I drove 5+ hours to pick up my trailer. Absolutely worth every minute on the road. Jordan was extremely helpful with his Communication, knowledge & customer Service. This experience was seamless!

My man door metal panel on my aluminum 7x14 trailer had come off on the highway. The morning after I reached out to Liam and Jordan, they quickly got in touch with Canadian trailer company shop and had me booked in for the repair asap. I had the option to bring it to Troy's Toys or directly to Goderich and I chose to drive it up myself due to the urgency. Once I got there within a couple hours it was ready to be taken home. Before I hooked it up, Troy's father John, did a quick inspection and noticed my wheel bearings were toast.he asked if I could leave it with them for another hour or so and they replaced them FREE of charge. They also added another support to the framing near the tongue, also free of charge.

Theses guys really care about what they do and the customers they sell their trailers to. I'm very grateful to have bought my trailer from these guys. Very genuine and stand up people. 100 stars to these guys!

I bought a sedan from Troys Toys Guelph and It seems like a professinal business for trailers, but not so much for vehicles. I puchaced a "safety" car that they did themselves. Just to come after doing a tire swap from my winters to summers, my winters were COMPLETLEY BALD ON THE INSIDE. I brought it to a trusted mechanic to adress this issue and he says that the ball joints were not in road worthy condition. This was the same car that passed saftey not too long ago. Ive also had a power steering falure, and a potential engine missfire that I will have to adress at a later date. I just find it hard to belive that not only me but others have had the SAME ISSUES, So learn from our mistakes

My husband just got his new CTC trailer at Troys Toys. Jordan and Liam were super helpful to get his trailer ordered and customized based on his needs. They show all the differences between their trailer and regular trailers on the market and when trailer arrived everything was on point. So many small details and you can see the quality of trailer! They didn’t use cheap materials and from what we see it’s really high end trailer. Trailer was finished and arrived on time. Not a single day delayed! All features ordered are here, and there is some really cool stock options that makes using the trailer much easier.
Customer service and all communication was excellent. Everything was straightforward.

I’m not sure how to share my experience in wording but I’ll try.

I have never purchased a vehicle without having seen it physically before in my life but the team at Troy’s Toys made it a worry free experience. Not a single detail was hidden from me and they were extremely informative and prompt. When I took ownership of the vehicle it was exactly as pictured and explained. However, it didn’t stop there. Fast forward 2 months and I had an issue; once again, the team took care of me despite not having purchased warranty.

I have yet to hear of any other dealership, whether it be used or new, to treat a customer with such respect and loyalty.

I have owned a trailer from Troy's Toys for 5 years now and I couldn't be more happy with it. The workmanship is great and they really care about delivering a great product that will last for years. I added a few custom items which was no problem and they were great to work with. I have had no problems with it, it is built well, and tows great!

I am having difficulties trading in my car now because apparently these guys sold me the car with an existing lien still in place. The car was a lemon as well and I cannot believe that almost four years after the fact that buying from troys toys is affecting my buying capabilities today. Less then impressed and will never go back.

Would be a 5 star review, but for all the problems I've had since I drove it off the lot. There's a leak in the gas tank or fuel, which I'm guessing is the real reason it had the check engine light on, which I was informed was due to an easily replaceable fuel sensor (which they replaced 2 of, and the check engine light was out 2 days before coming back). Also the door seals are all coming off, there's a missing panel in the trunk that I wasn't made aware of, and the drivers window has started rattling while in idle. Hoping they step up and get these issues get fixed, but for now I'm extremely disappointed and will have to lose a days pay, and spend gas money to get it to thier shop.

5 stars on product and service! Purchased a trailer from Jordan in December and I couldn't be happier. I knew enough about trailers that I knew I wanted a full aluminum frame for less weight and longevity of the product. But when I went in to look, Jordan went through every detail about how it was constructed right down to the Wall and ceiling support and fastenerless outside panel smooth finish for the cleanest look possible. He detailed how in building these trailers they address every problem common with other trailers to ensure they have the better product that customers will be happy with for years to come. In my opinion, these trailers are built to last and that's exactly what I was looking for. We build and distribute medical devices so we needed a clean professional look and something that would stay that way for years to come. It also looks great full of ATVs and snow machines so. I have to say that I had an amazing experience purchasing a car through Troys Toys. Denis Nicola was the sales associate that walked me through the process. It was relaxed, informative and pleasent experience. I settled on a Mazda they had just purchased and after they looked it over they found that the owner who sold it to them had lied about some damage. They called me and honestly told me they didn't feel right selling me the car. I just recently bought a 2013 Ford Fusion when we first went to see the car the car was buried in snow and the battery wasn’t charged and also the driver side mirror needed repair so Andre said he would get me a new battery and mirror there was also a ton of paint scraps all over the car we ask them to fix it and then after like a day of having it the front bumper was about to fall off and tony the mechanic tried putting it on me like I hit something I had the car no longer than day just used to get to work but after fighting with Troys toys I finally got the fusion with a new mirror no paint scraps and a new bumper so hopefully form here on in everything runs smoothly but I would buy another car from you guys poor review.

Purchase (2016) : Travis made sure that my custom trailer was built to spec.everything I wanted in a 14x7x7 trailer, two ramps, person door, generator door, vents, dual axle, etc.

Warranty Work (2018) : Tony/Stefan noticed some wearing issues with a few of the hinges so I drove it down to Goderich - Brian replace ALL of the hinges (and there are a lot on this trailer), no charge!

Service Work (2020) : After a couple of winters using my trailer and not washing off the salt, the trailer needed a refresh (my fault) - I asked Brian to refresh the trailer to his current specs - the result was like I was getting a new trailer - before I left their manufacturing facility John and his colleagues had already taken my trailer in for a review. Totally amazing care in making sure everything was as good as new, and extremely fair to me on price (I didn't ask for an initial quote - and if you meet Brian you will also get that immediate comfort level with him).

Everyone here is responsive, fair and easy to work with.

My recommendation: If they make the style of trailer that you need, do not look any further!

Not upfront about the car history until they are close to the end of the deal. If you don't ask, they don't tell. I purchased a car with as they said minor accident apparently had so many flaws in the car. Doors of different shade (my bad I didn't notice it indoors but they didn't mention either), doors won't close properly due to bad body shop work, gas tank doesnt lock, tires had to be replaced within a month, car key stopped working in 5 months, car GPS don't work just to name a few. There will be more issues in future I am pretty sure. May be for other customers who bought accident-free car had great experience, congrats to them. No intimidation anything from sales people but just not being honest. It was a bad purchase with below market cost but garbage value. I fell for the trap. I regret the purchase every day ️. Looking to get rid of this junk in future.

Looking for a new toy, went in and test drove a few cars. Was very interested in one in particular but price not AT ALL negotiable. There needs to be a little give and take considereing the numerous dealers ion the area. Had we haggled even just a little, I would have bought it. Cant say I am disappoinged as I am looking at a few more this week. I am however a little offput. Nice enough staff though

I recently purchased both a 2010 Dodge Ram and a custom built Canadian-made enclosed trailer from one of the sales reps Stefan Cyr. I live about 1.5 hrs away so all our correspondence was done over the phone, he was excellent in keeping me informed as to what the process was for financing as well as picking them up on the same day so it saved me time and fuel lol. Upon my arrival to the store I was welcomed and was treated like family during the signing process I was well informed and felt absolutely no pressure at any time from begging to end I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a vehicle or trailer, I have purchased trailers before from a local company that out sourced the process to the states and it was a horrible experience the trailer wasn't ready on time took 2 weeks longer than what i was told I have owned the trailer for about a year and screws are already falling out of it door is warped and it has a leak, The trailer that Troys made was ready on time and is very well made it has exceeded my expectations, they have my vote for repeat business. Keep up the great work

I purchased my car through Stefan who was exceptional. I emailed at 10: 30 am and recieved a call within a half hour, I put out mass emails for a couple of days and no response, with Stefan it was almost instantaniously very satisfied with my experience thus far. Should give the man a raise he is a real keener hahahahaha

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is full of rip off scam artists, and I would NEVER recommended Troy’s to anyone. I was talked to like a piece of garbage when I came in regarding a problem, and I was called a liar to my face (when all I did was bring up the fact that I was told something completely different at the time of signing my papers 2 years ago.)
If you want to be treated with respect and not be ripped off, DO NOT EVER go to Troy’s Toys. Terrible, terrible experience and service.

Bought a minivan, the receptionist Brooke was incredibly pleasant and kind. The salesman Brad Roy was very helpful and efficient.
Tony McDonald, the service manager was extremely professional.
The van had some issues that were supposed to be covered by Dodge but wellington motors wouldn't live up to their obligations. So Tony, the service manager, took maters into his own hands. The shop under his management brought the van back to its former glory. I, m very happy with
how its turned out. Tony is a mechanic of top caliber.

Great customer service by Stefan Cyr. My bf had an appointment with Stefan to look at trailers and everything went as expected and we left same day with the trailer. We are very happy with his service, this man answered all of our questions over the phone before our app today. My bf must of called him and texted him like 100 tines and every time he always answered or replied right away. When I purchased my car I didn’t know anything about cars as I’m 18 years old. They sold me a car with a bad clutch and bald tires. I have had this car towed twice in three months undrivable. When I purchased it they told me to put regular gas and cheap oil in it. It’s a BMW product so I almost ruined it putting regular in it. I have to put premium gas in It and I honestly don’t mind as I love my car I just really wish they knew what they where talking about. Idk if they are a horrible company or not but I can tell they really cut corners and lied to make me, the customer happy. They rushed me to sign everything and didn’t want anything else to do with me. I’m very unhappy with the service and expertise and I will not be bringing my car there for repairs as they clearly cut all corners to cost them less. I’m very upset that my car has already costed me so much money and I think it’s gonna keep happening. I now bring it to a real dealership who specializes in this specific car. I will never recommend buying from troys as this is not the first story I heard and I learned this first hand.

I purchased a 7'X12' V nosed single axle trailer from Stefan at Troy's Toys. I am very happy with this trailer, they are so we'll made! They are made with solid steel frames and tubing, plywood interior, the flooring and ramp is pressure treated wood, have not seen that in other trailers I've looked at. Excellent craftsmanship inside and out. I have bragged about these well made trailers, and will recommend anyone I know looking for one to buy here, and ask for Stefan! He has great knowledge and service! Thank Stefan!

Stefan (Big Stef) helped me and my girlfriend huge. He worked with us to secure the car we wanted was very fair and straight forward with us. He listened to all of our concerns and answered all of the questions we had. He definatly put us as a priority and was more than happy to make what we needed done happen. He came in on his day off before the store even opened to finalize everything and put a rush on the paper work and getting the vehicle ready for us to pick up in half the time we were originally told. Once everything was done he gave us a ride home. If i can say anything Stefan know he stuff and is a customer first kind of guy and is not satisfied until the customer is satisfied and happy. I would recoment him to anyone heading to Troys Toys.

I was pretty happy with the service and help from Stefan, especially since I live a few hours away from the dealership and had to work around that. Overall, I ended up with a very clean car that suits my needs! Although, once I signed the papers at the dealership, I was then told to look into recalls for the vehicle they sold me, so I am now sitting in a shop, a few weeks after purchasing my Ford Fiesta, and I have to get the transmittion fixed! So I am just hoping the car comes out with no problems and runs a lot better than it did after I got the it, without a shutter in the transmission. I even drove down before purchasing, and there was no shutter present and nothing said about the recalls! I also have had my check engine show up within the first week, and my stereo stopped working randomly.

Update* The transmission has been fixed and it runs a lot better than before! I did end up going back to get the stereo looked at, and we are currently troubleshooting a few ideas. They had no problems getting me in on my only day off and are doing what they can to figure out the issue and try to have it fixed!

I purchased an all aluminum tandem axle 7x12 trailer made by the Canadian Trailer Company through Stefan at Troy's Toys for my RC Jet aircraft hobby. I decided on this trailer after researching other trailer vendors.what sold me was best value considering these trailers have the floor, walls and ceiling on 16" centers, a ramp door, a bigger V-nose, plywood interior, excellent craftsmanship.and are Canadian made! And, it looks AWESOME.many neighbours have already complemented me on the trailer. To top it off, Stefan provides excellent service.my trailer was ready ahead of time, exactly as ordered, and he has a wealth of knowledge on all the technical aspects for successful towing. After using the trailer, it tows nicely on the highway with nice tracking behind my 1st Gen Durango 4x4. I'm in the process of customizing the trailer interior for my hobby for many years of use. My wife and I purchased a 6'X12' V Nose single axle trailer from Stefan at Troys Toys. The customer service was second to none. Stefan was courteous, attentive and the most knowledgeable sales person I've had the pleasure to work with in a very long time. Our trailer was ordered custom and was delivered on time. I have researched pretty much all the trailers that are sold in Ontario and visited about 10 dealerships, don't waste your time this is the only place to go for a cargo trailer, I've done the work for you. These Canadian made trailers are built to last, no corners are cut, no cheap angle iron, or flimsy checkered plating, or crappy powder coated wheels. Solid steel frames with solid steel tubing frames, galvanized wheels, the way things should be made. So if you are in the market for a cargo trailer I highly recommend you stop looking around and head over to see Stefan at Troy's Toys in Guelph, you will not regret the trip. I recently purchased a vehicle from Troys Toys. Stefan helped me and he was friendly and really paid attention to the kind of car I was looking for. I picked it up within a few days and I am very happy with my vehicle. However, I am very upset with the service department. I was told I could get my service details sent to me via email. They never followed up and I had to email and call multiple times, and eventually had to go in. I understand things get busy, however the manager in the service department was very unfriendly and so was the receptionist. Not the best overall experience however I am pleased with the vehicle.

I will say that when i sent a message about a car i was interested in buying from Troys Toy's, Stephan messaged me back very fast. He was very polite and kind. He had to hear my sob story and hung on to every word. When i finally spoke with him on the phone we was very sweet and i believe went above and beyond to make sure that the car i wanted was ready and waiting for me when i got there. I took the car for a test drive (fell in love) and when i got back i bought it. There were a few issues with the car which he told me were going to fixed by the time i was ready to pick her up. I gabbed the poor guys ear off and he didn't seem to mind or try rush me out the door. I even was able to talk to Tony himself. Really nice guys. Very friendly and made my buying experience a good one. Haven't pick up my car yet but lets see if he can keep his word. I have faith they will. I just want to say this was truly the best experience iv'e ever had at a dealership by far.

We were looking at possibly purchasing a trailer for some time now. Troy's toys had some attractive pricing so we stopped in for a visit. We met Stefan and purchased a trailer that evening. The process was smooth and the stripped trailers inside were a bonus to see the quality.

We bought a 10x6 v-nose trailer by Canadian Trailer from salesman Stefan. After comparing the features and prices, we were very impressed with the quality and price of this locally-made (Goderich) trailer. It was worth the hour-plus drive to Guelph for us as the trailers at other dealers closer to us were not of the same quality. Stefan was helpful and the transaction went very well. We special ordered to get extra height, but the trailer was ready in Guelph in less than three weeks, though we had to wait through the aftermath of the ice storm before we could pick it up.
