I had my small dog Zara in for dental work and was so impressed with the staff and service I received. Dr. M did teeth cleaning and one tooth extraction with stitches and a follow up visit. The price included everything (a procedure, medications and a follow up visit) and was reasonable. The appointment was scheduled shortly. Recommend Truscott Animal Hospital highly to everyone.

Amazing establishment! I absolutely love how genuine, personable and caring every single staff member I encountered was. I spent weeks upon weeks of researching the best vet in town and they did not disappoint! I came here for the first time with my puppy and I was instantly greeted with such a warm welcome. They took such good care of my pup for the short visit and made him feel super comfortable with the whole process. The vet explained everything I needed to know and never pressured me into doing anything I didn’t want to do. I also just want to personally thank Jessica (I think that’s her name) for calling me outside of business hours and easing my anxiety and stress away! She was amazing and went WAY above and beyond for me. I truly appreciate everyone at this clinic and I’m so happy I found a vet that my pup and I feel so comfortable in! Highly recommend!

This is a very good veterinarian clinic! They care about your pet, very clearly, and choose care that is the best balance of the care for your pet and the most cost efficient options for the owner.

The animal hospital is amazing. Best vet clinic in Ontario with great prices and best customer service. Dr M is extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and kind as well as Dr E. Abraham. My 2 dogs just got neutered and Dr M was very responsive to all emails, he was answering my emails that I used to send daily on the spot after 10PM to make sure that my dogs are comfortable after the surgery. I strongly recommend this clinic to everyone and I would rate it more than 5 stars if I can. Thank you Dr M for all your help and support during this time

So happy to have recently taken our dog here for the first time. They fit our Jake in when he had a cut on his snout, which needed attention quickly. Fair pricing and excellent care!

Recently I had to take my 9 year old rabbit for surgery to get a big lump of fat removed (The photo isn’t even an accurate representation of how big the lump really was) I was so worried about the surgery but Dr. M and his amazing team really went above and beyond taking care of boy old man.
I truly recommend going here if you have an exotic pet! They are also so patient and caring for my dog daisy who we also take here. Thank you again for being great with thunder and daisy!

By happenstance our daughter ended up at this hospital with her cat the year before and Dr M and his team were in her words "amazing". We had an emergency situation come up a couple of weeks ago with our 7 year old cat and although Truscott was not the closest Animal Hospital we went on our daughter's recommendation. In our words, also "amazing"! What we found most impressive was the follow up care. 1 to 2 calls daily once our cat came home for several days and then again a few days later. Thank you Dr M, you have a great team.

Was hesitant on switching from prior vet for my 2 cats. Sure glad I did, nice staff, amazing vet and an overall great experience since starting to come here. Would absolutely recommend!

IF YOU HAVE A REACTIVE DOG, THIS IS NOT THE VET FOR YOU.

We moved to Clarkson in early 2021 and were looking for a new vet. After reading many reviews I was having high hopes when bringing my dog to this clinic. I called in advance and explained my dog has issues with newer environments and tends to bark a lot, he usually settles after he's able to sniff someone and get some treats from them, I was assured that wouldn't be a problem, I even called ahead before his first appointment to remind them and they said everything was fine.
Well, this is the most unorganized clinic I've dealt with, you can be perfectly on time for your appointment but the doctor always takes at least 15-20 mins to come by and only spends 2-3 mins with you, max 5 mins if you're lucky, you then wait another 10 mins for a tech to come by with the medicine or instructions, he does not come back.

If you still need to discuss treatment or something else you have to chase him because he never comes back to the exam room even though he wasn't clear that the "appointment was over".
I could go on and on about our poor experiences here but this was the gist, each time it was a very stressful situation for our dog and us, I'm sure for anyone else in the clinic too.

The technicians are very nice and I would give them 5 stars, some of them were even very apologetic about the wait and truly tried to help us, one of them even suggested we could refuse the exam when we needed a prescription refill because she knew how bad our previous experiences were.

All in all, if you don't mind waiting a lot, this might be the clinic for you, but if you have a reactive pet, one that can get stressed easily, please do not bring them here, it will be a horrible experience for all. We were lucky we found a better clinic now, where they make sure to space out appointments for reactive dogs and the vets spend time examining our dog and properly discussing his health and treatment with us.

Try to search in North Oakville, it's worth the drive.

Dr Medhat is very nice and super knowledgeable.when he knew my budgie was really sick. He asked me to bring her in even the clinic was about to close. He saved my budgie.thank you dr. Medhat.

I highly recommend taking your pet to Truscott Animal Hospital if you are looking for a professional and kind veterinarian and staff to look after your pet’s needs, and if you wish to pay reasonable prices. After going to another animal hospital for almost 12 years, the estimate we were given to pull some of our dog Sparky’s teeth seemed high. I did some research on Google, found Truscott Animal Hospital, read the reviews and saw the numerous awards it has earned. I booked an appointment and received an estimate for the same dental work, and to have a skin tag cluster removed from the back of Sparky’s neck. The staff was very kind towards us and the estimate was considerably lower than at the other animal hospital. We booked the surgery and asked to have our records transferred over. Prior to the surgery, the staff patiently answered all of our questions. On the day of the surgery when we went to pick up Sparky, Dr. Meawad explained everything he had done and showed us the x-rays. One week later, we went for a follow up. Each visit and interaction was pleasant and informative. We cannot thank Dr. Meawad and his staff enough for the excellent care our precious Sparky received! He continues to recover well and feels great!

I came here with neighbour recommendation and have never regret. Having 2 female cats and 1 of them had really bad troubles as a kitten and I believe that Dr. Medhat really saved her life. Fair pricing compared to other hospitals we had been through when our kitten was sick. I appreciate Dr. Medhat’s and his team’s kindness and professionalism when helping us. I’ve been going here since my puppy was 3 months and honestly this is the best place I’ve been to. So polite and the nurses and doctors are amazing. My dog just got spayed and today was her follow up appointment and I can’t believe how happy and excited my dog was to go to the vet and 110% recommend it please to anyone who is looking for a nice affordable, close by vet clinic.

Idiots! Don’t trust reviews guys. They are horrible doctors. Everything is fake. My cat’s ears are injured because of their “work”.

Best veterinarian and clinic staff! Dr. M saved our dog by giving us short notice appointments and calling in an ultrasound technician on short notice. The staff was amazingly caring and friendly. Our dog Puff has made a full recovery thanks to the medications and diet plan he suggested. I couldn’t be more happy! Truly great people at this clinic.

We moved into the area a few years ago and began buying our cat food from Truscott Animal Hospital (we have a very specific cat food we order that aids in one of our cat's urinary issues while being safe for our other cat who has a heart murmur - we have three cats). This past summer, we admittedly still hadn't taken our cats for a check-up because it causes severe anxiety and transferred aggression issues but in August, our youngest began yowling and ran upstairs. When I went to check on him, it looked as though one of his canines had become dislodged or cracked and he was obviously in severe pain. Truscott Animal Hospital was able to take us later that day to look at our cat and we found out he was going to need a large number of teeth removed due to gum disease; they were able to book him in for surgery two days later. They let us know that 11 teeth would need to be removed but thankfully the doctor only had to remove 9 once surgery began. From the moment that I met Dr. Meawad, it was clear how much he cares for and loves animals. He was extremely kind to us; I felt very guilty that our cat had to go through this but Dr. Meawad was so compassionate and reassured me that our cat's gum disease wasn't our fault and that unfortunately sometimes it happens to cats regardless of the care they're receiving. Feline dental surgery is expensive but the final price at Truscott Animal Hospital was very reasonable, we appreciate this SO much as the surprise bill was difficult financially. They didn't even charge us for the follow-up appointment, which was so generous. Our cat's surgery was successful and after less than a day, he was back to his old self. Everything healed completely fine and it was as though nothing had ever happened! On Truscott Animal Hospital's website, Dr. Meawad says his goal is to treat his patients as if they are his own. I'd say his goal is accomplished over and over because I saw this firsthand with my own cat and through the many people I've see in the clinic requesting appointments with him and expressing their gratitude towards him. We are so happy to have found such an understanding and compassionate veterinary practice close to home. Dr. Meawad, thank you so much for treating our fur baby as your own (and I'm sorry it took me so long to write the review you deserve)! Thank you thank you thank you!

I just started taking my dog to see Dr. M a few months ago. He has a very practical approach to treating my dog. He was also able to squeeze me in for a last minute treatment when something came up which needed to be addressed before we went out of town. All of the team at Truscott have been very professional and kind. Take your pet there - they will be well cared for.

Our cat Buddy suddenly suffered a catastrophic bladder blockage. Dr. M took him right in, quickly examined and Xrayed him and said immediate surgery was required. We gave our consent and Buddy was operated on that day and stayed overnight and was returned to us the next day. Dr. M and staff have always shown utmost care and concern for the animals brought to them. Our many thanks.

I just want to say thank you once again! I would recommend Truscott animal hospital 100%. My dog had to get surgery and they were amazing. Very knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. They truly do have love for animals and I would trust my dog in their hands any day. Through such a difficult time they worked with me and tried to help Cost wise in any way possible which is truly appreciated. My dog prince is now healed and I am very greatful for the team in Truscott Animal Hospital. Everyone there was excellent!

I’d just like to say that this vet has been extremely accommodating to me and my dogs (and by dogs I mean my doggy momma n her litter of 10). She recently had some complications with feeding but Doctor M was super helpful and dropped everything he was doing for Bella’s emergency. Definitely recommend this place, it’s worth all the hype.
