I don't claim to know how their management works, so I'll withhold my criticism on that here; however, Canpar has some incredible drivers who definitely deserve praise. Thanks Cole, keep up the good work.

Below is my review from 2 years ago. Now Dec. 2020. Package sitting with them since December 1st. Not moving. Still can't contact via phone or if you stay on the line with canpar you are waiting over an hour. Not even one star for this company. Horrible, horrible.

One star is the lowest I can give. Costco uses ups who uses muskoka delivery. Each time there is a delay, an excuse or whatever other reason they can come up with for not delivering when they say. It's winter.it's raining.it's summer. You check to see where the parcel is and surprise there's a delay. Bracebridge is 50 minutes away! Will have to contact costco once again. Everyone is right.how do they stay in business? Because There's no other option here.

Tracking shows package arrived at their facility at 3am. It was on my doorstep by 11am in Lake of Bays.

This is by far the worst logistics company I have ever encountered in my life. 1. They have 1 driver serving the cottage country area driving a vehicle that is not fit for the country, hence he doesn't make any of his deliveries. He is also extremely rude and will call you out of nowhere and ask you to drive out your home and meet you at random intersections around wherever he is in the day to get your mail, if you don't answer within 5 mins your package goes to the warehouse. 2. There is absolutely 0 customer service contact for this place or the warehouse. 3. I pay for higher end services and it's a hit or miss wether that company will contract out CANPAR to make the delivery which is what I thought i can avoid by paying more money for Fedex/UPS/Purolator. Never have I ever experienced such horrible service and this guy who's representing the company in Muskoka Lakes should be fired. This whole company should be fired for even existing. I HATE CANPAR please for your own sanity try your very best to avoid them, it's an absolute nightmare.

Very unprofessional place to work, as nobody trains you on your first day they just expect you to walk in the doors and start working. No supervision overnights. When unloading trucks they just throw the boxes everywhere or let them fall to the ground even thought some packages are fragile. Very poor place to work I had to leave halfway through my shift because of how poorly they are set up at Canpar. Would not recommend working there, as there are no supervisors or any training given to you when you arrive.

This place is unbelievable! It's poorly run. The people are not helpful, and the staff is just plain rude - bordering on insulting.

Was told by UPS to go and pick up a package, since tracking had shown it sitting in their warehouse for 3 days (instead of being delivered like it was supposed to be!)

Customer service door is locked due to Covid, and the number they give you to call just goes back to a central office number nowhere near Bracebridge, so you can't actually get in touch with anyone on site to pick up your package.

Finally spoke to a young lady by the loading bay doors who managed to find someone inside to come out and talk to me. She didn't even ask for my tracking number - just my name and "some" of my address. After a lengthy wait she finally returned with, "It's not in the warehouse, so it's 'probably' on the truck. " (Wow! I would've thought there'd maybe be a way to track it, but I guess in their minds telling customers 'probably' is the same thing as determining a location using a tracking number).

These people are beyond incompetent. If your package doesn't arrive when it's supposed to, you'll be far better off contacting UPS for a refund, rather than trying to get these folks to help or comprehend what their job is supposed to be.

Never have a problem with them. Polite drivers. Packages arrive on time. Always love seeing the truck pull in the driveway.

I've only had to deal with muskoka delivery service twice and noth times have been horrible. The 1st time a notice was left on my door that another attempt to deliver would be made, 4 days later they still hadn't returned. I tried calling multiple times with no answer. When I finally decided to show up at the terminal it took almost 40min for them to find my package my second experience was no better. They never attempted a delivery and held package with no contact for almost 2 weeks

Still waiting. I have been putting these packages out every day for pick for a week and 2 days now. Don' think they are ever coming and they don't answer the phone.

I had a package sent from kitchener to Gravenhurst on April 26th. Today is May 15th

Canpar tracking showed the package being held in Bracebridge.

I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone by phone, and neither could canpar.

I had to drive to bracebridge to knock on their door until someone answered.

Once an employee answered they were able to find my package in the warehouse and give it to me.

I'm sure the employees are doing their best, however the company needs to improve their service.

Absolutely terrible run shipping company here. Never pick up phone, delivery too late, false promises and TERRIBLE customer service. Stay away from them if you can.

I arrived at 5: 05pm to find the office door locked. I live 89 kilometers away - I walked toward the loading docks and found delivery staff working - they felt empathy for me not able to get an answer by phone or miss the office staff by so few minutes - that J. P.and Dillion went out of their way to help me. One package sent and an important package picked up - way to go guys! I really appreciate you thinking outside of the box. Thanks for the great service!

0 is too high a rating. -10 or -100 would be better. First of all, they lie. Full stop. Failing a polygraph is probably a part of the hiring process. Lied numerous times about the location of a business shipment with UPS. Lied on the phone; lied to UPS. It's documented. Are their employees and drivers bondable? For real? As another reviewer posted, they lost a shipment: they act as if it is no big deal. "The driver can't keep track of all parcels" but yet you are a logistics company? With a track record of losing parcels? What sort of idiots lose a parcel between a truck and building? You need to reexamine how you do business as I am stunned you are still around to rip people off. Not Better Business Bureau accredited and they only give you a C+. It is always the same complaints so why don't they fix them? ! It does not matter what moniker they use (as a broker) whether it be UPS, Canpar, Loomis, DHL.it is all the same, all trash. Very rude customer service: you don't need to be highly educated to work there but you could do with some brain power. They have the monopoly in the North for shipments.so our hands are tied. I need UPS to do my work but after them losing my work shipment, not a care in the world.these idiots leave a bitter taste in my mouth. They are obviously making money and hold us Northerners by the fine hairs so they won't change.yet here I am, stuck using them, because I need UPS.to have a business.

I find the previous review to mine interesting. I experienced road rage today, July 11th, as well while driving north on Hwy 11 between Barrie and Orillia. The driver crowded me out when the lanes were merging for construction. Once the two lanes were open he wouldn’t move to the right lane to allow me to pass. When I attempted to pass on the right he accelerated and blocked me off. When I pulled back into the left lane behind him he threw some garbage out his drivers window. He pulled ahead of me rapidly and driving erratically cutting people off. Clearly this person has issues and shouldn’t be driving. Unlike the person from the previous review I do have the licence number!

They don’t do their job right. I had two deliveries by them and in both times after 3-5 days of delay had to drive 60 K.m during the job hours to pick up the packages myself. They Claim tried to deliver the packages even if they did, they never knocked the door or left a note. Gave them two stars because they called and didn’t lose the packages

The absolute worst delivery service ever. Been waiting for my package for 3 days now.nothing. They dont pick up their phones, they dont provide updates through dhl or other tracking services. At this point I'm pretty sure my package is lost. Would not recommend using this company in any way. Stay far away from Loomis!

Drivers have been nice. Impossible to track packages, no one answers phones, you will be waiting a while for your parcels. The biggest problem is the other shipping companies that subcontract to this company will report that the parcel has been delivered but the package will be sitting in the Muskoka Delivery Service trucks or warehouse. It would be nice to simply get a phone call from the company to communicate when delivery will be made.

This company is subcontracted by many of the places I order from for my business. I generally get the same delivery person and he is so pleasant and courteous. I don’t really understand the previous reviews as I’ve never had anything but polite service from these employees. Would have given 5 stars but I feel they need more drivers so that things can be delivered or picked up on time. They service a very large area and it’s a bit much for the few drivers they have.

PICK UP YOUR FEDEX PACKAGE IN BARRIE, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO DELIEVER ANYTHING TO YOU. This company is the worst delivery service I have ever dealt with. FedEx gave our vital car parts to them and they keep changing the delivery date. They told us when we FINALLY spoke with someone that it wasn't worth their time to deliver to Utterson as we were the only package in Utterson at that time. So we are stuck waiting as they never even told us where the package was to pick it up. This company doesn't care at all.

It doesn't matter what date your package is due it will be late or early and possibly damaged. Lost parcels are shrugged off and you will be told it isn't their 'fault' and nothing will be done about it. The delivery man on my route has been known to be rude and nothing is done about that either. This company picks up the orders that Fed-EX and UPS don't have time for and that is how they remain in business! Poorly run, poor service and the customers have no choice about using these people.

PS Somehow in the period of July 9 to 11 this company managed to lose my new love seat. How does a company LOSE something that LARGE?
