Tsujiri Dundas

Minimal seating, but great desserts (especially the matcha and yuzu!) The parfait was delicious and not too sweet. Overall great for a snack.

Had the matcha softserve cone and WOW, it was incredibly delicious. Girls working there were super friendly too.

Little cozy place with perfect matcha products. Love their ice cream, staff is friendly, location is on the busy Dundas street and store is accessible. In certain times it’s not busy, what is really great. I love how they combine flavors, styling is great too.

Wait was long to 1) get in & order (small location) and 2) actually receive my order. I ordered a matcha float with kinako soft serve. It was a bit frustrating to see multiple customers who ordered after me getting their food first.but the server was kind when I inquired about this. Food is ok, the taste is on the lighter side so it's refreshing. However the ice cream portion was more ice than cream. For $9 with tax, I expect a bit more quality.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the lady who served us. We had the pudding and their most famous cheesecake. Sharing a slice of cheesecake between my husband and me just wasn't enough. Cannot wait to try more things here like their soft serve looks amazing. When we asked about crepe milles cake, the lady behind the counter didn't know but pictures tell me otherwise. So, I hope they bring it back soon.

Their macha and hojicha soft sever is probably the best in town.
However, the quality & portion can be inconsistent. Sometimes, you get a big tall soft server. Sometimes, you get a meager portion.

I ordered the ramen here for pick up this Friday on UberEats. No where did it state on the menu (even on the website) that it contained peanuts. I have a deathly allergy to peanuts. When ate the ramen, I instantly had a reaction to it, itchy eyes, throat closing, itchy throat, bloating, indigestion, etc. I didn’t realize I was having a peanut allergy reaction because I thought to my self: “there’s no way ramen has peanuts in it, it didn’t say on the menu - it stated all of the ingredients! ” anyway fast forward, I had to go to the hospital, endured hours and hours of pain in my stomach, endured hours of waiting for a doctor to see me for a anaphylactic shock, etc etc. Never would I have guessed that ramen would have peanut butter on it, LET ALONE they would only state that ONLY ON INSTAGRAM. I didn’t know I had to check Instagram for a proper list of ingredients. Not even the website had the PROPER LIST OF INGREDIENTS.

Summary of all this, I almost DIED because they did not state any peanuts in their ramen/menu. Complete negligence from the company’s part.

Peanut butter is not a common ingredient in ramen (at least to my knowledge), but is a common allergen. They should’ve at least stated they used it in the item details on UberEats (see attached picture).

Nearly killed my friend. We only found out that it contained peanuts after looking at their social media. Completely irresponsible on the company’s part.

If you have food allergies and are thinking of eating here, definitely beware.

I can't believe I only discovered this place yesterday? ! Feel ashamed to call myself a matcha lover now. If you like authentic matcha not sweet and with a some bitterness to it, this is the perfect place. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Amazing green tea matcha based drinks and desserts. The matcha is ever-so-delicious while the desserts just melt in your mouth with succulent ingredients. Would recommend every time, especially the green tea cake. I think I'm gonna have to get some now just talking about it: p.

There are two options for the icecream. Green tea and oolong. Green tea is much better imo. The oolong is not worth the price.

It was one of my favourite tea shops as a matcha lover while the customer service today was unfortunately appalling. There was something sticky, probably gums or whatever, on the floor, part of which stuck to the shoes of the girl in front of me. After informing me about the annoying stuff on the floor, she kindly informed the employee who was making drinks and ice cream while that gentleman acted as though she were an annoyance. He said sorry in a quite rude and impatient manner and told her that he could not clean it now. I was really shocked at his attitude and felt sorry for that girl.

Very bad attitude from the worker there! When I went there today, the floor was pretty dirty and a piece of gum got stuck on my shoe, so I gently reminded them to clean the floor when they are less busy, just in case the gum and other garbage on the floor will stuck to other customers' shoes. However, the person did not let me finish by cutting me off abruptly and simply replied "Sorry" without even looking at me. He then added "I will clean it, but not now" with an unbelievably condescending tone and gesture, which made me feel extremely out of place and uncomfortable

Pretty good. Matcha is bitter but if you're really into matcha you'll probably like it. Could use a more creamer or slightly sweeter flavour for better balance.

I do not know if Tsujiri uses high quality macha, but the quality of their ice cream was pretty poor. I really want to like this place, but I don't think I will return for seconds.

<3 Hojicha <3 the Soft Serve here has strong flavours, both matcha and hojicha, very creamy. I love the Mochi toppings in the parfaits. The Yuzu drinks are refreshing.
Only negative remark is the lack of seating and waiting space in the store. It was also very stuffy in there as they didn’t turn on the AC in July!

Incredible desserts. Their matcha ice cream is phenomenal - very tea-forward with barely a hint of sweetness. Our food was gorgeous, had a satisfying range of textures, and complexity of flavour. Really fun to eat, especially in the little tatami sitting room. 日本語をはなします。

Had a matcha parfait and a matcha/houjicha float - yes seating is limited and prices are on the expensive side, but Tsujiri is a sweet spot for a once in a while treat. Creamy matcha soft serve that's not too sweet; houjicha that has that moreish roast to it. A delight!

Best matcha soft serve I’ve had. There are other drinks and dessert but I wanted to taste it with no extra flare and it was delicious. Please open a location in NYC!

If you avoid the lines, this place has a really nice yuzu shaved ice. That is my fav item here.

Other items tend to be very pricy in terms of value and only worth trying once as they do not stand out in terms of taste.

Hands down the BEST matcha soft serve in the GTA. A little pricey, but you get what you paid for of course. Can be very packed at times.

If you're looking for amazing Japanese-style matcha desserts, this place will not disappoint. The shiratama parfait I had brought back memories of the anmitsu I had while in Tokyo a few months ago.

The place is cozy but has a wonderful atmosphere. If you want to really get into the spirit, sit at the table at the back with the tatami mats.

I will totally go back soon.

Extremely limited seating. Friendly fast service. Matcha is on the bitter side can be a bit more creamy. Portions are good for what you pay for. I wouldn’t say value for money though.

Great place to get Japanese style tea and snacks! The matcha ice cream is delicious. The Kinako Daifuku (soybean powder and cream-filled soft rice cake) was also really good. They have a black sesame cake that had a beautiful subtle flavor. I will definitely go back. All the desserts contain dairy, but there are tea options without dairy (for vegan or dairy-free peeps). There is very limited (and somewhat awkward) seating for about 10 people total.

Best Matcha. Everything about green tea ice cream, cake. The place is quite small only fit 5-6 people sitting and the rest will stand by the door.
