T&T Supermarket

Nice size store, not huge but not tiny either. Underground parking is a plus when snowing or raining.

October 2021 3.5 after a few years, I've decided to update my original review. This T&T supermarket is fairly large, newer and quite decent. Bakery, produce, groceries, meat, seafood, cooked foods and even a beauty section are all ok. While nothing to rave about, this supermarket has a lot off what your looking for. In Langham plaza, it's convenient for the condominium units attached or even the neighborhood. With the university and highschool nearby, this supermarket is certainly convenient.

2018.3 Same usual t&t. Good place to buy chinese foods. Lots of variety. Good sea food. Good bakery selection.

Very traditional style Taiwanese supermarket it has most of what I need. I think it needs more Taiwanese products though.

Fresh and clean meat and seafood sections. Produce and other stock is tidy and organized well compared to other supermarkets. Selection is generally good. They also have 3 self check-out kiosks now that actually work well.

The downside is mall accessibility. The parking lot and stores on top of the garage parking lot are only accessible by stairs, no overhead cover from rain and no automatic door buttons. So if you have to carry food or are pushing a stroller, trying to get in and out of the indoor part of the mall, it's a pain. Also the shopping cart escalator conveyor belt occasionally is either turned off or broken. This means then everyone is forced to use the elevators.

This chain is owned by Loblaws.
If my memory serves me well, it subscribed to the Optimum Points program some time ago.
However, these stores moved to adopt their own points program which was a big mistake.
I have stopped shopping here for just that reason.
Together with the PC Insiders program and a PC MasterCard many savings are guaranteed. Just not at T&T.
Sorry, but this a great store specialising in Asian products and merits a higher score.
Too bad they opted out of the Optimum program.

We were forced by a rude staff to use self-checkout while we were reluctant to do so. She said there is no excuse and refused to communicate in English. This is absolutely nonsense. As clients we have the rights to choose whether we want to serve by a staff or do self-checkout. I will spread the words and tell my friends and family not to visit this store again.

Specifically went for a sashimi tray. Arrived at 1: 30 pm, nobody was at the sushi bar. Asked staff, eho paged someone to assist. She arrived and said a sashimi tray would take an hour to prepare. I left, and won't be back.

For a small town it has a good selection. The vintages selection could be a little deeper but my guess is it's a size x store and head office has a computer algorithm that determines what is sent to them. Friendly knowledgeable staff.

Staff at this location are always very polite and friendly. Lots of people in weekends though so recommend going there on weekdays for shorter checkout waiting.

Nothing special busy during the weekend. Come here during dinner time if you want to avoid the crowds. Some special Japanese and Korean snacks and drinks you don't find in other stores. Good variety of ice cream and popsicles.

I know the picture doesn’t the issue… simply, the fake shark fin smells bad, like expired bad. I was really craving for it, I ate it just the same day after buying it. It was put in the fridge immediately after. Unless there’s a good explanation, I would really not bad this soup from T&T again…

Very clean Chinese grocery. Prices are bit on the pricey side but lots of variety. But some beauty products are definitely overpriced

The cashier whose name starts with an S, five letters, with glasses, is the nicest and most helpful person ever. I’ve stood in her line twice and both times she was really friendly, chatted casually, and made sure I was able to carry all my groceries out.

Always clean and the layout is good as per usual t&t standard. It is a bit smaller than other bigger supermarkets, but the selection is still decent.

Great selection and they've managed to get rid of that fish smell that most Chinese supermarkets stuff from

Really like T&T Supermarkets. There isn't one on my area so when I happen to travel close to one, I stop in and shop.
Please build a T&T in Kingston Ontario.

Smaller than other T&T locations but has covered parking and good selection of products. Despite the higher prices there are always long line-ups to pay. Freshness of produce can still be better. Other customers need reminder to social distancing. Hotfood, prepared food and bakery are always good.

Plenty of underground indoor parking. Good selection of produce and other items.

Most of prepared food is decent, about as good as other stores in chain.

The soups were delicious.

There's a great variety of grocery items, prepared foods and cooking essantials. Chances are you'll find what you're looking for.

Overall clean and has majority of the things I need when doing my grocery run. I find that it has packaged meat which some other stores don't offer. This is my usual go to location even if it means going out of my way a bit.

This location has a massive spots for hot food, noodles, bakery, and just about everything you need. It's well-laid out and the staff are generally friendly.

Too bad that, like most T&Ts, the prices are generally very expensive and among the highest point in all mid-level supermarkets (I'm not counting McEwan or Pusateri's here). Not to mention their absolute travesty of a points system that actually broke down today.

Oh well, overall it's a nice pleasant place to shop still.

A tidy, clean, friendly and community-focused supermarket. A great place to shop for your daily grocery needs. I'd particularly look forward to more of their food and delicacies imported from Taiwan, the beautiful and friendly Formosa island country in Asia famous for its healthy food, delicacies and cuisines!

I love this location compared to other T&T locations in markham. It is clean and everything is very organized.

Lots of great products. A bit crowded though. Not able to keep social distancing. Points system is not perfect. Only every 25 dollars, will points be recorded. It's a rip off when you spend $49.9 - you will only get $25 worth of points.

Great Asian market! If you've never tried one of these markets then you don't know what you're missing. Lovely fruit &vegetables, hot bar for quick meals, fish so fresh it's still swimming.

T&T are usually more clean than other supermarkets. Surprised that there were a few items that were cheaper than others.

Somehow the layout feels cramped and dark. The positive is the covered parking for winter trips.

Be Careful shopping at this store! Horrible cashier added $50 to my receipts with foods items that I did not have and didn't buy! That day I was planning on buying only a little foods but at the end when it time to pay the receipt came at 186 dollars I was super surprised bc we did not have that many items of the groceries. I was super confused but I paid anyway. Then I decided to checked the receipt and seeing all the items which was not in my grocery bags and did not planned on buying. I asked the cashier to explain to me why am I paying for something I din't buy she did not replied to me but instead talked to her co-workers in Chinese language which I don't understand then the lady came to me and took me to another counter and was so confused. The new lady asked me " did I do for you? Meaning did I made mistakes. I was even more confused bc that new lady did not doing the mistake why it she had to be the one that helped me fixed the issue while she kept asking me if it was her fault came to find out the nice lady was on her break did not know what was going on but the one that was doing it didn't wanna take responsibility or explain why she did what she did so she sent someone else to me. The new lady re- checking my groceries all-over again and the receipt came out to 136 dollars ️ I knew it.so then the third lady came to me and said I'll refund it to you. I was like wow no sorry or any explanation whatsoever I couldn't believe it. So I asked to speak to a manager I want to know why the cashier added the list of items to my receipt and over charge me. The third lady that was said" I'm gonna refund you" told me " I am the manager" I don't think she was the manger bc she did not speaking English very well and she seem to not knowledge much about what she should do so later she called some guy to come talked to me. I told him what was happening he looked very confused and just said "sorry" and then left. At that point I was so tired and just wanted to go home so the third lady put the money that she over charge me back in my Debit card and I left. I still can't believe it, come to think about it how many times have this store been taking advantage of me. I've been shopping there for years and never once checking my receipt. Pls everyone be extra careful at this store. I won't be going back there again that for sure I prefer going to other store that honest and don't take advantage of ppl like this instead. If I can give 0 star I will but yes I'm very disappointed.

I like this T&T Supermarket as it's a lot less crazy compared to others. There is a nice parking lot which helps during heavy rain. Although, the T&T is smaller compared to many others near by, they have a great selection and variety. They also have much better quality compared to other asian stores.

The best place to go for everything Asian cuisine! Vast selection with hard to find items. Authentic Asian ingredients.

I like this market. I can get all the groceries and Seafood soup, face mask & almost everything there. They have an outside parking and they have an underground parking.there are seafood section fresh meat section a bakery section cosmetic section.sometimes they have food to try, so it attract people to buy. Is she is a very efficient and fast, so the lineups are very smooth. They have a bonus points system as well.you can redeem products. Inside there's no Wi-Fi but the plaza itself has Wi-Fi. The washroom is very clean too. I recommend this place because it is well-managed

We p/u the turkey dinner on last Saturday, we fillet the breast meat, the rest make soup with some vegetables in a pot, found out the soup came out strong oilly smell, sounds to me the old old oil being repeating used, we throw everything in the blue box, don't want to take any risk to our health, also this dinner set suppose for eight person, but the portion is so small, the size of the fried rice and noodle in a box of a big mac, very disappointed for the value, I expected a Saturday nice gathering, end up we have to dine out instead. No more next time.

It's almost Christmas time at T&T Supermarket. What a year this year, 2019, has been. We have noticed that there has been a lot of changes and upgrades to this place. I am glad that Loblaws bought T&T because it is much cleaner and more organized now. However most of the staff are still asian and we dont see too many non Asians working here. There is a new mini T&T corner too just for kids here in this location as well. Maybe it's a pilot project? Or this location has a lore more room than others? What do you think of this T&T? I think it's more clean and spacious. Merry Christmas, btw.

Goods on display a bit messy. Parking not easy. Cashier quite nice. Charge five cents for one bag. Some supermarkets do not charge. For example, foody mart.

The covered parking lot is great during rainly season. I originally gave this place two stars but upgraded it to three stars. I think the management of this store has improved. Overall it is more organized and cleaner than before. The only complaint is that the veggies section doesn't seem to be as fresh as other stores. But all the other departments are well stocked and well presented.

Excellent customer service. Not as big as other T&T, but good enough to look for Asian food. The produced and cooked food were great. Underground parking is good too.

As with many chain/franchised business they're pretty much all the same and I like this T&T. I find the parking situation on the chaotic side so it's not as pleasant coming here. This one is considerably smaller than the other stand alone stores and everything is more compact. There's the regular sections that you see at every T&T and even hot food such as noodles, meals, bubble tea. My mom mentioned that the prices are cheaper so that's a bonus point for this location. I tried the Korean sticky rice buns and it's not like the ones in Seoul. I was disappointed.

The oriental Asian people that I saw and met there were some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Great prices on groceries and even their food was really good for a quick bite.
