Everything was tasty and great food options. The service was great. 10/10 would come again. Ronda was very professional and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed.

Had dinner with family. My children loved it. Second time coming to the Ottawa location, and we'll be back again! Thanks to our server, Sushant, for the great evening.

We enjoyed our return to Tuckers after the 3 year closing. Nice renovations, good layout and a great music playlist. The food and service were both great. Great Value!

Nice atmosphere, some fresh items like pizza and pasta, friendly staff. But limited buffet especialy the dessert. All in all for $35, I would go to Mandarin next time.

We are so glad when you reopened your doors. Although it’s a newer, new mgt, but roughly the same menu. We waited for a special night to go to one of our favourite restaurants. We found ourselves being delighted by the food, service, and atmosphere. Although, the cost of inflation has helped to reduce the overall size of the restaurant the atmosphere remains the same…my family gives them… Five Stars!

Amazing experience at Tucker’s! Brought a group and they were awesome at accommodating our size and all the dietary restrictions we had. Highly recommend for any occasion!

A really good value and place to hang with friends. We came as a group and the accommodated us easily and food was kept fresh and filled. The mixed drinks were also excellent.

Its was so good. Everything is fresh. When its your birthay, its free. C'était vraiment succulent. Le tacos stand est vraiment une bonne idée:)

Most items were empty or sitting dry and over cooked the carving bar ie roast and ham were empty the entire time we were there. Atmosphere was that staff basically had to be there not wanting to be. No pride or experience to the cooking staff far as I'm concerned change the name of the restaurant cause tuckers is dead and this place brings shame to the name!

We had high hopes returning to Tucker’s after years of positive experiences in the past, however, were truly disappointed! Don’t let the steaming warming plates fool you - all of the food that we tried was cold despite going at around 6pm (prime dinner hours), including the ham at the carving station. In addition to this, there were fruit flies in and around the toppings for the tacos. When we told the server that our experience was subpar, all he said was “sorry, ” which to me indicates that he knows the quality is poor. For over $30 per adult, this is absolutely not worth your money.

Not enough variety of food. The hot plates are not refilled. Empty pans all over. No options at all and food not tasty (over cooked)

Save your money. If you are expecting it to be amazing food and service like before it closed you will be mistaken. Food was all barely warm. Some look like it had just been reheated from the day before. No pasta made to order like suggested. No stir fry station. Everything was messy. Salad bar was warm. Even the water served was warm. Served from pretty bottles but ice would have been nice when it's hot out. I will never come back here again. We had to wait 30 minutes for a bill. Staff was so clueless they started to clean the table behind us when the couple sitting there were at the buffet. Should have stayed closed.

To follow up they asked me to contact them for further information and they haven't gotten back to me. Shows the level of care they have about their restaurant, their business and their disgruntled guests.

Food was awful. We all got sick. It was my first time and never again, would not recommend. It was my boyfriend's birthday and he was very excited. His mother is currently sick and have strong stomach pains, my boyfriend is very disappointed. This used to be his favourite restaurant.

Had dinner with a large group, and the staff was awesome. As a tour bus driver, I recommend this place. The manager, Jason, was great. We had lunch next door at Lowertown Brewery and also very good. Skip.

Not sure why the ratings is relatively high for this place. The food was just average in this place and they refill very slow and there are a lot of empty stations like the mussels, roasted beef etc. Overpriced and do not recommend.

Did a walkaround of the buffet stations and opted not to eat here.

First time back here since they moved locations and it looks like the options have been cut in half. To be fair, we were seated after a rush, but even so the options were kind of sad - the carving stations were all empty, most of the entrees were noodle dishes, and the ‘mussels in wine sauce’ were all shells and no mussels.

The staff were amazing and friendly and couldn’t have been more understanding as we made our way out the door.

Buffet is excellent. Was with a group of 90 and the service was non stop with a welcoming smile. Highly recommend the buffet. You will not be disappointed.

Love's this place. The food is cooked with love! The service is top notch, Sebastian has done a fantastic job and I get wait to see what else he does with this Restaurant!

We went here to grab a bite to eat before a big family trip and our server was visibly sick with a cold and stuffed up beyond belief, even telling us it was "Just a cold". We wash our hands everywhere and use masks. 2 days into our trip all of our family got sick with the same head cold that our waiter was coughing and spewing around us. Dont get me wrong, this is not the staffs fault. Everyone at the table realized immediatley upon entry that this place was severely understaffed. The gentleman in the back doing several jobs; carving, cooking 90% of the dishes, and restocking the buffet by himself. Food was not great. We used to attend this place before the pandemic for special occasions, mostly anniversaries and it was 3x the size. They sold part of the building to another restaurant. If you have fond memories of this place, don't go back or they will be tainted just as ours have. Ruined our family trip and ruined our memory of the place. Tuckers is a shell of what it used to be, and it's kind of sad.

Food was amazing, service as well. Owner was really nice. Nice place to have dinner with friends and family! Definitely recommend

We went fri night water was warm no food hardly got replaced when empty I was excited to go but it's not the same food was not hot not worth it never going back.don't waste your money if you're feeling like it's the old Tucker's it's not even close

I was at Tucker's on Saturday for dinner with my girlfriend. We heard about the restaurant re-opening and wanted to try it out again.

They should rename the restaurant because it is nothing like it used to be. The food selection is maybe 35% of what it was in the pre-covid days, and that might even be generous.

- There was no roast beef.
- There was no pasta bar.
- The buffet food was often cold or luke warm.
- Some of the trays like the spring rolls ran out and were slow to replace.
- The chicken was overcooked.
- There was nobody serving the ham. I went to serve myself and then somebody came over.
- The pizza was burnt but at least they brought out another one.
- There were no utensils to pick up the bread in the buffet area.

My biggest complaint is the small buffet selection for the price point. We were there at peak dinner time on Saturday and figured that the selection would be more favourable than it otherwise would be.

For our 2 meals and with tip included, we paid around $90. I only left a tip because the server was polite and friendly. The other staff were also nice but the food is what we came for. We won't be going back because you can get better value elsewhere.

The service was good, liked that one of the GM’S came to the table and asked about our experience.

One thing I would suggest is that there be more food options for individuals that can not eat the greasy items or that spicy.

Loved the butternut squash soup!

First time eating at Tucker's since the pandemic. We learned the pasta station is coming back, which is good because the buffet pasta wasn't up to par. New pizza station was the best, and dessert was as good as we remembered. Will be back again to give it another shot hoping to see a bit more variety in the buffet.

Has gone seriously down hill. Food choices are limited and gross and service was awful as buddy was basically alone. Used to be way better. No longer a great restaurant

So nice to have a good place to eat back opened. The service was amazing, the food was amazing and the way they did the renovations the place looked wonderful.

The food was poorly diverse. The tables near the window to York St were uncleaned when we arrived. They were bizarrely shaking so much so that they had to be stuffed underneath with some papers to fix them. Interestingly, we made a reservation. It appears that this business took advantage of this reservation to secure a bad spot. This is not only deplorable, it is hatable and indicative of peculiar mindset for people operating in the service area.

Not the Tuckers we remember. More appropriate name would be Indo, Canadian buffet.
Food was good. Roast beef was excellent but no where near the selection of food and desert expected.
