Turkish Flames

Incredible Turkish food spot. The food tastes just like in Turkey, the service is just like in Turkey, and the price is affordable. It’s one of our new favorite spots, we drive 36 minutes just to go to this restaurant. The other day we tried the Turkish breakfast - a must. Thank you!

Last night, I invited 4 of my friends to dine at Turkish Flames for the first time to celebrate my success in some matter. The main course we ordered included "Iskender" and "Mixed Doner, " and everyone loved their food; it was delicious, especially the bread with Mixed Doner. We also had "Spring Rolls, " "Fries, " and "Yogurt Drink" that everyone liked. But there was a problem with the tea after the dinner that made 4 (out of 5) of us have a nausea-like feeling (one of us didn't drink the tea, so he was good, and one of us had two and he threw up a bit when we got home). I don't know what was wrong with the tea that made us sick, so I'm leaving this comment for the owner to check on this (maybe the istikans/tea cups hadn't been washed properly). Above all, I like it that this place is Halal. Also, the staff was friendly; although one of them forgot that we ordered three cups of water and brought two, it was okay because my friend quenched his thirst with two teas. So, overall, the food was delicious, but we didn't like the tea as it created a dry, sticky feeling in our mouths and tasted different than the tea we Persian people are used to.

I like a good grilled dish. So I decided to give a try with the family. It is not bad but also there is so much room for improvement.
Pros:
Fresh delicious bread
Good marination and meat is properly cooked not dry or raw like I find in other restaurants
Friendly staff and clean and nice atmosphere.
Cons:
Super expensive tiny size side dishes. There's no dip served with main so you need to order sides to be able to eat the bread and rice or else it is going to be very dry. Like seriously the salad they serve on the plate is a joke amount.
They serve food on these wooden boards which is a mess. Good luck trying to scoop rice or hand the board over to your partner. My clothes got all soaked with the meat juices that run down of the plate.
They serve white bland rice, tasteless burlger and bread with the main too much carb with no dip or sauce.
It was super slow even on a Sunday evening.

In total I would like to try it again if they improved their menu.
My kids plate was super spicy they didn't eat although in the menu description nothing mentioned about how this dish is super hot.

So happy to have a yummy new halal Turkish restaurant right up my alley. We got the mixed grill family platter and ohhhh my god it was delicious, especially the beef doner! I highly highly recommend! We enjoyed our experience, the ambiance was nice, decor is beautiful. Servers were very nice and very very quick with their service. Lastly the baklava was so fresh and just melts in your mouth. Will definitely be coming again!

I dont think i have received worst service ever in my entire life. Not just one servers
but most are extremely arrogant and rude. If you are busy hire more people!

This was our second time dining in here, we got the mix platter and pide, both were excellent. The bulgar was one of the best i’ve ever had. Will definitely be back soon!

Everything was fresh we ordered the platter and a few sides and the shepherd salad just like my mom makes it service was good definitely will be back

Turkish Flames is a fantastic restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves delicious food and great service. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor is beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive.

But the real star of the show at Turkish Flames is the food. We ordered the large platter and the food was delicious. The veal skewers were to die for.

One thing that really stood out to me was how quick the service was. Even though the restaurant was busy, our food arrived promptly and our server was always available to answer any questions we had.

Overall, I would highly recommend Turkish Flames to anyone who is looking for a great restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

The place was nice, tasty food, it was very crowded though and loud, the server was nice but the food took too long and we were served the food the same time with the people that came after us with like an hour also they forgot an item that we ordered so we had to cancel it at the end, my drink was warm as they didn't have it put in the fridge before they serve them i wouldn't come back only for the time that we had to wait, they need better management for time and orders for sure

Food was amazing! Yusuf i think he is the owner very friendly and service was great. You can try anything from there it will be amazing. The meat that theu are using is high-end you can tell just by tasting it. Little expensive but its worth every penny. I will be coming again definitely.

Food was absolutely delicious. We went there for iftar and they reserved a table for us on the same day. Their dips and breads were fresh. We loved the Beyti chicken Kebab platter. They also served us complimentary Turkish tea.

My only complaint is the extremely slow/ unorganized serving staff. We ordered dessert for which we waited 30 mins and after inquiring with the server, he said he forgot. After reminding the server and waiting another 15 mins we were told that they served it to another customer and we would have to wait. We ended up canceling the order.

Great food. This has become our new favourite place to go. I love all the hanging lanterns inside. Great atmosphere to accompany the great food.

Our waitress Selma was very friendly. We ordered veal doner and Adana kebab, portions were very generous and taste was really good. Definitely we will come back again.

I just want share that you need to try by yourself even if you read 5 or 1 star.

Dude. Go here. This food is unbelievably good. I have been here a few times. And i will admit at first the customer service was meh. But each time I have gone the experience has gotten better and different people have been serving us.

Try the sultans special. I think that is what it's called. It's amazing amazing amazing.

Would give 10 stars.

Turkish Flames is an absolute gem! The food is so delicious and the service is incredibly quick. I've been there a few times and each time I'm blown away by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a great meal!

Thank you for a delicious meal. Our first time dining and we will be back. The Lamb Chops were cooked perfectly and presentation beautiful. Will not disappoint!

I give this place a 2 stars and here is why.

The atmosphere is nice, I really like the decoration and how the restaurant is organized. It is colorful and cozy. It earned its first star because of this.

The service was good, we were seated right away and our order was taken very quickly. Although the waitress gave us a heads up that our food will take 20 minutes which was a surprise to us, we got our food 10 minutes later. This is what earned Turkish Flames its second star.

Now coming to the most important part which is the food. I ordered mixed Doner. The good is that the presentation was nice and the portion was decent. The bad is that it was cold and dry. Both the chicken and the beef tasted bland. For 20$ a plate I would expect more taste and if coming from the flames it should be at least warm!

It's unfortunate because I really liked the food here. But it is not run like a restaurant at all it's only worth it if you call ahead of time (and come 10-15 mins after the estimated wait time). Pretty busy but we waited 5-10 mins to get seated when there were available seats. Took a little bit for the waiter to come speak to us and he didn't know what some of the options were on the menu and wouldn't substitute a salad after I've done it before. 50 minutes had gone by and we never got a our drinks (a coffee, juice and a bottle of water) and the place actually stinked but I couldn't place the smell.

After we got up to leave about 50 minutes after being seated, a waiter came chasing us out in the rain saying it was our "turn". And when my partner told him we just wanted to go somewhere else because we couldn't even get a coffee after the full 50 minutes and the waiter just said "I know that". Really confusing experience I thought I was having a stroke xD on top of that people who came in before us had their food way before we even left. We ordered lamb chops, a wrap and hummus and the 3 drinks mentioned earlier that never came by.
