The food wasn’t as good as usual tonight. I took my daughter to the bathroom. There was a drunk women with a pizza box on her cell phone extremely loud and swearing. It made my daughter and I extremely uncomfortable. Everyone working today was super nice

I came here with my daughter to have some cheese dip and chicken wings. The nan bread and cheese dip was AMAZING! Everything was so good and the service was great.
Samantha was my server and she was always making sure everything was great and was really great with my daughter. 100% would go again!

Tuna poke bowl … quality of fish was disgusting.all stuck together who serves that? Never going back there again.

We had a great experience. Our server Jessica was fantastic. The manager was awesome with my kids. Played rock paper scissors and had us in stitches. Great customer experience. Would highly recommend

Overall, great restaurant. We were seated promptly and our server was with us shortly after being seated. Food was delicious, served in a timely manner and was hot upon arrival. I ordered the chicken fajita wrap and it was so good. Other locations serve it with sour cream, which this one did not. It wasn’t a big deal to us as we were enjoying time with friends, but it felt like our server was MIA for a long time, no asking about drink refills or the little check up a few mins after food was given to see if all was good. After bringing us our food we didn’t really see her again until a while after we were done eating. She was super friendly and bubbly so I feel like this was more a situational thing- I didn’t see any other servers around, so I suspect she may have been doing the patio and dining room on her own and may just have been stretched thin. Atmosphere is really nice- Decor is very fresh and tasteful, and gives a very cozy but airy feel to the place. Great place to bring kids.

Was there last night and the friendly, professional staff and nice environment almost made up for paying $102 for 40 chicken wings.and that was before taxes and gratuities. It is a nice place so if you don't mind paying eye-watering prices for pub grub this is your spot!

We had late dinner there couple of weeks ago. Food was delicious and our waitress Zee was one of the best, made us feel very welcome. The service was great despite of the power outage happening on and off. Highly recommend

Seg went out of his way for me on a busy night to find my bank card and call me that it was found. The Buffalo chicken wrap medium sauce was perfect. Service was great. Thanks again Turtle Jacks Appleby!

The wings were awful. Asked for well done, they were barely cooked. Extreme NY sauce didn’t taste like it does at other locations. I won’t be back. Vogel location is the best.

Ordered the lobster ravioli, it was $30 and it came with 5 pieces of ravioli… kind of a rip off! The service was slow.the only reason i like coming here is for the dessert.not impressed:/

My wife and I visited for mid afternoon lunch and did not regret it. Food was very good and the service was really good. Meal took a while but that was a minor misunderstanding.

Spontaneous lunch pit stop for me and my dog. I called in before to ensure dog friendly patio. They were able to get the outdoor tv up and running for the ball game. My server was very friendly with my dog and manager offered raw carrots for it. NY Striploin was delicious as usual and wine choice was good. No complaints, will return - even more now knowing they are dog friendly tbh:)

My family of four dined at this location on a Monday evening just after 5pm. I have not eaten at a Turtle Jack's location in many years. At first glance, the prices were higher than anticipated, however, after seeing the portion sizes (massive), it made total sense. We had enough food for three nights. Our server, Tyler, was fantastic (attentive, accommodating) and tolerated many questions and menu challenges from my kids with a smile (apples were supposed to come on appetizer plate with kids meals but they were out of apples). Emily also stopped to chat with us when she noticed us playing Uno while we waited for our food. The Manager (I did not catch his name) was helping to serve and visible on the floor. The food was delicious, and, as mentioned, we had several days of leftovers. Too bad we did not have room to try the buttertart! Thanks again for a great dining experience!

Great dinner and great service. Waitress recommended dessert and she was bang on. The tart is absolutely magic.

This is a very family friendly place with great offerings for every age group. We celebrated my daughter's birthday here tonight with a decent size group and everyone had a good time. Food tasted great and service was even better. Mara our hostess, certainly took care of us and was even a hit with the kid's table. They've also allowed us to bring in our own birthday cake and even gave the kids some treats on the way out. The experience easily would have been worth all the five stars, if the mango pineapple salmon tasted as good as it sounds. We hope no one else had ordered the same dish and felt awful after two bites of the salmon. Mara made up for it and accommodated another dish in its place. Overall a great experience and certainly one to remember. Certainly will come back for their great service and have cautious optimism for their salmon dish.

We love Turtle Jacks. The is particular one has friendly staff and the food is great! My fav is the New York Chicken Dinner! Ok, it’s a treat because it has a lot of calories but that’s what makes it so much fun to eat. Spiced perfectly and always crispy - I would say I average two of those dinner a month - and yes, I run them off later in the week

Great place for an ice family dinner to discuss the week and enjoy good food in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Price: Prices are reasonable, not cheap but not over-priced. For us it’s just right.

I came to this location today because I had seen such good reviews online and I was absolutely disappointed. The place wasn’t even 25% full, they took us to the patio because it was such a nice weather. And left us there for over 15 min, when I decided to leave. It’s so rude to leave customers sitting with the menu and even worse when the place is not at full capacity. Not even a cup of water was offered. No service or attention other than sitting us

From start to finish this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. First we stood at the door for 5mins before the hostess greeted us. When she did greet us her lack of any type of customer service was the only thing that stood out. She sat us at a table and quickly hurried away. When I went to sit at the booth it was filthy dirty with crumbs and sauce all over it. I then inspect the table it too has sauce everywhere. The table has been wiped down but not cleaned. I witnessed the hostess “clean” another table and I totally understand why we had crumbs everywhere. Bad start but whatever, things happens……until we wait 15mins for our waiter. We arrived at 7: 39 and didn’t get drinks until 8: 09. Our meals were not awful but not great. Wouldn’t order anything I ate again. The Manager came around to do his table touches. I was looking forward to this so I could let him know in a constructive way but he sailed on past our table. Service was terrible, cleanliness was non existent. Wait times on a Tuesday night with empty tables was unacceptable. Finally the hostess was not in uniform, wouldn’t be a big deal but it added to her complete lack of enthusiasm and is a really bad look on the restaurant.

Awesome wait staff! The daytime staff knock it out of the park all the time.food was hot and timely and and tasty. I've eaten in restaurants all around Burlington for 30 years and TJs Appleby never let me down! Jess is the Best, always a great experience!

The restaurant and seating were great. The first drink I had was actually offered by staff and it’s basically was water down drink. Tasted ok, very little alcohol. Then I had the Brussels sprouts and they were gross. Hard and not able to eat at all. Then I order fish tacos and ceaser salad. For the price of 20.00 you should get 3 but you only get 2, they were okay, fish tasted good but the add ons were all over the place and very messy. The ceaser salad was good. When we were paying the waitress seemed to not want to be bothered as she couldn’t keep up a conversation and was very short

The bacon cheeseburger and real onion rings were pretty good compared to ones in Texas. I would order it again. The fish tacos looked good as well. I went at lunch time and there was no wait. Staff was quick and attentive. Social distancing is still in place for Canada. The burger and rings were $20 so kinda expensive but also may be a Canadian thing. Will visit them again on my next trip.

My and a few friends came for a night out and had a blast. Food was great service was good especially the server Jayla she was super quick with our drinks and food, we will definitely be back.

I really like this place, the food, the servers, the general vibe is all great. I have come here for a night out with friends, for a family meal, and today for some wings with my son. Our wait staff was awesome, the hostess was overly sweet to my son. Been coming here for years and will continue to.

A little bit of a disaster. Made a reservation for 15 five days in advance. Agreed to take an earlier time slot (6: 30pm) due to another group that was booked at 7: 30pm (group of 50). Not an issue. Had individuals driving from over an hour away. When a few of our group showed up at 6: 30pm they claimed to not have a reservation, I got on the phone (since I booked it) and on the phone they apologized and said they were making room for us now. It was 8pm before we were seated. We waited and hour and a half outside in the cold while they continued to seat other larger groups. There was nothing done to fix the situation, a female manager just said she would be comping some desert for the table.
Once we were finally seated, and understandably starving, no sever came to the table for 10 minutes, when she did show up she was visibly stressed and seemed very new. Mid order, she said, "Sorry, I'm going to take this other tables order first then come back to you". We were flabbergasted as we had already been waiting quite sometime. She came back and attempted to take our drink order. At this point, I asked to see a manager again. A gentleman came round this time, I explained that already this is rocky and we likely need a second server or someone more experience who can answer bar/menu questions. He was pleasant, and they did assign a new sever, which I might add, was wonderful. When the original server came back with drinks, she spilled water all over one of our party members (table and pants) thankfully it was only water. From there our second server took our app and main order, unfortunately did not specify that the apps should come first, and everything came at the same time. It was 9: 20pm before our food arrived.
The manager comped 5 free deserts, which was nice, but at the same time, more should have been done given the huge mistake they made.
In future, we will take our gatherings to a different restaurant, as this one is not reliable.

We had a group of 14 and a reservation to arrive between 6: 30-7. We had a member arrive just around 6: 30 and put reservation was gone even though it was confirmed multiple times. We had to wait outside for over an hour and when we were seated, it took another 10 minutes to even get water to the table. The manager offered us five desserts for free which was nice, but when you drive 45 minutes out of your way and have to work at 5 AM the next day, getting your dinner at almost 9 is really inconvenient.

Prices have gone through the roof! Easily 25-30% higher. Now I'm sure they have good reason and the quality of food no longer matches the price point.

Food has always been good there. I got picked up during the pandemic, and it didn't fail! It was good!

Every visit I've had I was served by friendly waitresses. This restaurant really understood the covid-19 rules and stuck to them. The food is ALWAYS on point.

Bad enough to warrant a review. Greasy slippery filthy floors. Dirty appetizer plates, dirty washrooms, complete derailment. So unfortunate. Only explanation was that they are short staffed. Avoid
