Turtle Jack's Erin Mills

I’ve been coming here with my partner for almost a year. We usually come at least once a month because we live close by. They were under renovations until recently. Ever since the renovation, the quality of service and food has gone down. The servers take sooo long to take your order and the food is a hit or miss depending on who’s in the kitchen. They don’t even refill your drinks 9/10 times. I think they’ve either cut hours or laid off staff as translated by the lack of service. I always get a burger and my partner gets wings/ribs. My burger is always made great but my partner’s ribs are finnicky. Sometimes they’re too small or burnt or the sauce is too thick. Overall I think they could definitely use more staff and consistency in the kitchen. Really loved this location and I’m a little bit disappointed in how they’re turning down.

Service is great even when it’s busy, although the food was decent. Shrimp and scallop fettuccine, the scallops and shrimp were over cooked they were rubbery. The cheese dip was pretty tasty.

From the online table reservation until the end of the visit everything was seamless and positive. We had an excellent service. Thank you Michelle! The food fresh, nicely prepared and served. Thank you.

Had a great time at Turtle Jacks thanks to our server Ryan! We were a big group and felt very well taken care of by him.

The yellow coconut curry chicken bowl is fantastic, I honestly think even the most picky people would absolutely love it. Very mild in spice and huge in flavor. Great job on this one TJ's!

The place is nice to hangout.sip a nice cold draught and a quick snack. Our server Cody was great and took care things well! I’ll visit you guys again definitely!

But unfortunately for me …. I did not have a very good food experience. Would I go back again…. No…. Would I recommend to a friend or family member …. No

I ordered a kids pasta - the noodles were a bit undercooked - and lacked flavour- the tomato sauce. I had my daughter with me and she did not eat it … so I tried it and I can see why.

As for me I ordered the wings - roasters they are called - a miss …. The sauce was medium which tasted fine but for almost $14 bucks - 5 wings. Never again. I believe they also season the wings with something before tossing in sauce. I ate all the wings cause for that price.

Again this is just my opinion. I’ve seen great reviews for this restaurant so maybe they are great …. Just not for me.

Came here tonight for a drink while feeling down, and left feeling better. The bartender (Cody) took care of me. And the fryer wings were nice

The server was amazing - attentive and personable. Unfortunately, the food was not great. Deep-fried ribs? ! The chicken in the New York dinner was deep-fried too! We had sad tummies all evening after the meal. And it was pricey for the food. Don't think we'll be going back

Mother's Day was lovely but, very busy. Regardless, the food was great, and the staff was very friendly.

Came here for the Leafs game, first time at this location. The owner came by to our table and chatted with us a few times; Great guy who is a Mississauga local with a philosophy of supporting the community. They donate an equivalent meal to those in need for every meal sold, among other charitable initiatives. Food was good and the beer was cold, we'll be back!

We went as a group of 11 with prior advance booking with a request for outdoor sitting.
1. When we arrived we were told that outdoor sitting for 11 is not possible. Then after a wait of about 5 mins, we were told that we had to choose an outdoor table with limited table space or indoor. We went with indoor.
2. Not a lot of Vegetarian options - again nothing against the restaurant but certainly something to improve.
3. We were served cold tomato soup which was a big let down since we had ordered it with a lot of expectations based on our prior visits.
4. Almost all the main courses had some issue or the other - pasta not well cooked despite sending it back, no/limited sauce in other pasta dishes, steak was dry. We got refund for one pasta which wasn't cooked.
5. Towards the end of the dinner it got quite hot probably because the AC was switched off as it was close to closing time.

Overall a pretty bad experience - mostly, the disappointment is because we had better experiences there & that was the reason for choosing this place for the bigger group. Would definitely rethink about going there as a big group on the weekdays especially for dinner especially after 9 PM.

Cody is THE BEST. Very Good Service treated us amazingly. Bless his soul
Came here after getting kicked out of wild wings for no reason and he was able to show what good service means. Did a great job serving around 30 people.

Ordered the basa fish tacos (their version of the salsa was interesting) with a side of beef barley soup. Was delicious. Sitting outside was great. Need to try more menu items to get a better feel. Servers were patient with us.

The staff is excellent so is the food. Our server was jack (I think If I remember the name correctly, he was an older guy) he was so nice, made our visit and our sons birthday memorable. Highly recommend.

Worst experience ever, food was stale and very disappointed the way they are just selling expensive menu worth of nothing I should have gone for a fine dining with the money I spent today, horrible experience seriously.

Went for dinner and the food was excellent as well as the drinks. Had sticky toffee pudding as dessert which was really good.
Our server was john, who was very helpfull and polite. I would suggest everyone to try it out, wont regret it.

Food was so salty and smelled very off.all my friends said the same thing as well. I don't know how this place has over 4 star reviews but if all turtle jacks are like this they should be shut down.food quality very scary.plus nothing on turtle jacks actual websites matches this place.

Wonderful atmosphere, food and the best service this side of Ontario. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and did I mentioned the food is top notch?

Just had an amazing dinner here! The food was great, drinks were great and service was incredible! I would definitely travel out of my way just to come to this turtle jacks moving forward!

It was a good experience overall. We loved the nachos and the tacos. The server was good as well.

December 1 2021: Back again. Very disappointing that they not only didn't scan our vaccine passports but barely glanced at them and our ID. What is the point of the vaccine passports if these restaurants don't use them properly. On this fact alone this will be my last visit here.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Power bowl and Turtle wings. Tasty and good service.

Another lunch today now that patios are open again. As before service is great and food delicious

Was seated by the host and had to wait 30 mins for a server, no one came to us and even greeted us. We had to approach the hostess after this long wait and asked why we were not served.
Food was nothing special, overall not the best experience.

Great experience. Went to TJs with our two kids and had a fantastic lunch

Notables:
- kids "appetizer" plates with fruit and veggies
- restaurant feels really clean - love the rustic cottage chic
- bathrooms were really clean (great when you have little kids)
- servers were really nice and efficient. They also kept the drinks flowing lol
- the food was really tasty!

All in all, a really great experience. Will definitely be back

I ordered the fish tacos from here with a side of sweet potatoes. Not worth it! I was disappointed to see that there were only two fish tacos especially at a price point of $18, the fish tacos were much smaller than what you would get had I ordered them at a Mexican restaurant such as El Mariachi (which has a price point of $16 for three tacos) and by the time I got home 20 minutes later, the salsa was so watery that it had made the soft shell very soggy and it just was not enjoyable. I will not be going back.

We really enjoy the food, liking everything we’ve ever had and always have great service (Carol) who takes great care of us and is very friendly, accommodating and professional. Sumanth, the Owner was also very pleasant and engaging and came to say hello and be sure everything was to our liking and that’s appreciated.

Cody our waiter was very friendly and a great server. The hostess was also friendly and gave our two kids toys from their toy chest, so they were pretty happy.

The food was good and we're looking forward to returning.

Friday lunch during work day took about 1.5 hours to arrive which had to be taken out and was very cold as if it's been sitting for awhile. The restaurant was not busy at all and empty tables all around. Very disappointing visit.

So Turtle Jack's has decided to ditch the whole "Cottage " theme and go with a more sleek steakhouse vibe. This location is located in Erin Mills Town center near the main entrance. It's part of the whole refacing and rebranding of the mall as it was dying a slow death (Sq1 is only 10 minutes away).

The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff friendly. I was greeted right away and sat at the bar. They have happy hour special according to the day and the selection is good. Nice assortment of beers on tap and bottles. The bar was stocked with the nicer liquors but also the well stuff too. I had a Lagunitas IPA that was nice a cold. I also had a nice Manhattan. Ahmed the bartender was cool and knows his stuff.

Food was typical selection of burgers and steaks akin to a moxies or Milestones. Go for the Bison meatloaf if you have a hankering for meat.

Over all, it was a good Place to have an after work drink. It will get more traction as the clientele builds. I recommend it as a good place e to go if you want something that is not a meat market and somewhere you can bring a family to.

Good choice of food and drinks, and some promotions depending on the day/time. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

First time at this location and I was very surprised and impressed with the great service, attention to detail, delicious food and an amazing desert called the SKOR BROWNIE OBSESSION, the name says it all! A decadent and heavenly creation. Also a must is the BEET, SWEET POTATO & KALE I added salmon, which is sustainable, seared and seasoned to perfection! Absolutely great dining experience. Thank you Paul for being so awesome and accommodating, Will definitely be back for summer on the patio!

Love this TJ's! Awesome food, good vibes, close to home and they always have sports games on. Good specials after 9pm. My fave is the fried pickles & Thai salad!

Very inaccessible for anyone especially those who need assistance in opening the door. Not only is there NO door that leads to the mall, but there is NO accessibility door from the outside. The service is bad and when it's slow the young kids as servers are chatting in a circle in the dining area.

Really nice server, she was super sweet and accommodating:) I wish I could give 10 stars for her and had taken her name. But overall their staff is amazing, food is great and always a nice place to hangout:)

The food at this location was very good, however, our server lacked the above-and-beyond experience. I would call the service mediocre. I also found the portion size for my meal was kind of small for what I paid.

Great service. Great food. Great vibe. Don’t compromise, definitely eat here. We planned on leaving halfway through the wait (going to the food court for subway), but this was definitely worth the wait. Best food I’ve had in a while.

The owner/manager and the staff (Veronica, Jess, and Michelle) are super nice and attentive. The restaurant owner, is a very kind man, usually around making sure everything is on point, and it DEFINITELY is. The food is good and the booths are comfortable, servers are nice too but I asked the waitress for a takeaway box for my food which was half and sandwich and fries and she said she’d do it for me and just threw my food out instead, and never mentioned another word of it, obviously she forgot but it’s a bit unpleasant as it was half a meal.

Food was very average. Veg burger was the worst I ever had. A bit pricey considering the quality if food. A bit disappointing.

Can't say that I'd wanna come back here again, Burger was okay but for a signature burger I was expecting more and also not to be charred on the ends and the portion of fries was pretty weak but had great flavour.

Gotta say for the price tho. I feel I got the short end of the stick.

And service was just okay, can't say anything bad really but hard to find something great about it. As a matter of fact I felt the same way about the atmosphere.just there.

And.seeing no bus boys is never a good sign, waitresses cleaning their own? Guess Mgmt doesn't figure its busy enough to need to have tables clear for the next waiting patrons.

Couldn't recommend this location to anyone I care about. Stick to Erin mills Town Center simply for the legit looking Santa Claus they have there.

Been here so many times and it's always a good experience. It's awesome to have a place like this to unwind after an evening of shopping.
Friendly staff, cozy environment and there's always a game on tv. Thanks to the staff for always checking on us; and being okay with having our 7 month old daughter sit and play on the table ️
Food is top notch. And can't go wrong with $5 beers!

Amazing food and portions! Very tasty! Just wish they had halal options, or dishes that could have the pork removed from or wine substituted with something else, I really think that would get them way more customers. But other than that, it's perfect.

Went there for a get together. Ordered the chicken burger. At $17 it came with nothing on the side? Really? Of course the waitress asks you what side you want with it implying there is a side. Sorry.it comes separately. Very misleading. Buyer beware applies big time here. So $ 25 bucks later the burger comes out.burger was not bad. However at 25 bucks it better be decent. That's what it was. Just decent nothing else. Not a value for money restaurant. Avoid. Pick another restaurant.
