Turtle Jack's Niagara Falls

Been a long time since I have been to a Turtle Jacks but previously remember as a kid having a good time. Was pretty quiet when went in so service was quick, food came out hot and was pretty good for what we got. One out of four in our party didn’t like their dish otherwise good around the table.

My family were looking for a reasonably priced dinner in a typically expensive resort. Having dined at other Turtle Jack locations we knew the food would be consistent and were glad to see the prices weren't increased. They also didn't slap on a resort fee. Wonderful service. Would highly recommend.

Looking for a lunch spot after walking the falls and came upon Turtle Jack's and the food and wine were very good! Our waitress Andrea was wonderful and made for a really pleasant dining experience, will definitely come back again!

Enjoyed the Sangria and Baja Tacos thoroughly on our first night in Canada. Claudia, the waitress, provided amazing service and made my husband's birthday extra special.

Party of 9, our server was nice enough, just not very attentive or efficient. Food & drinks were all delicious.

The service staff is full of enthusiasm and will come to see if there is any need for a refill or any needs. The food is also good, served at a moderate speed, and the environment is also good. There are TV programs showing sports events next to it.

Amazing food and service. Waiter was so friendly, helpful, and quick. Definitely recommend checking them out if your in town!

The best ribs ever: juicy & tender. Excellent raspberry mojito, excellent service! I highly recommend this restaurant and we will gladly return with the first occasion! We were positively impressed both by the food quality and by the very friendly personnel.

Great food, lobster ribs and wings were good combo, bison meatloaf was really good, our server was fantastic with our children I’d recommend to anyone to try this place

This place is awesome! The food was delicious and the drinks that were prepared by James were to die for.
The staff was very personable and attentive.

It was quite crowded when we got there and hence the service was extremely slow. We had to wait close to 30 mins for our simple order that was fish n chips and chicken wings. When we got the wings, it was a wrong order. Our sever was a nice lady, she did see our despair and offered us those wings while we waited for our correct order to be made and served. We were celebrating an anniversary in our group, she got us a nice small cake with a candle.

The experience we had was amazing! We went to celebrate a birthday with friends and family on Saturday! The restaurant was busy but we were immediately seated even with our larger group! Our server Claudia was very attentive and quick with food and drinks! The food tasted great with big portions! The servers even came to sing happy birthday at the end and the whole restaurant pitched in to sing making my dad feel special! Thanks for the great time!

Very overpriced for what it was, the nachos were bland and did not have many ingredients. There was no plating for their dishes. The taste was mediocre and the service was okay.

What a fantastic experience we had dining at Turtle Jack last night (Niagara Falls location). We arrived and asked to be seated where there were less people, which was accommodated. Our server was Angela who was so very pleasant and courteous. The food was the perfect temperature when it was brought to our table and the French Onion soup was the best I've ever had. To our surprise the owner approached us and asked how we were doing and how we liked the food, we let them know the food was very good and said we would definitely be back again. The prices were reasonable and the all around experience was welcoming because good restaurants these days are far and few between. After our meals were finished, Angela brought us a complimentary desert (Sticky Toffee Pudding). Omg this desert is so unique and an unforgettable taste. I will go back just for the dessert, it was that tasty. I would highly recommend this location, your dining experience will be a 10 star. Cindy and Jim

Had the steak and lobster and my Mum had steak scallops and shrimp, was awesome! James have great service, brought beer when I needed it! Lol
This is an awesome place to visit while in Niagara or anywhere there is a location! You won’t be disappointed

Food was great! Went for my birthday and the kids and family loved it. I had the Bison Meatloaf which is labeled on the menu as a favorite and I can see why! It was so good! The only thing I didn’t clear from the plate were the veggies that I didn’t care for normally - nothing to do with the restaurant! The server was awesome! Highly recommend!

Claudia is amazing. Every time we visit she makes us feel so welcome. Service is perfect and the food is always so delicious.

Really good food, good sized portions and the staff were super friendly. Food arrived quickly and the experience and atmosphere was great!

Came in with my Girlfriend and Brenden made the experience much more enjoyable than I could have asked. He is an A+ server and we will be back because of him.

They wont serve take out orders. This owner is terrible. I remember ordering take out orders earlier this year with lockdown, but apparently they wont do them anymore. I remember waiting 15 minutes before someone acknowledged I was there while the owner’s privileged daughters were sitting there with no masks on; too lazy to help out. Wont be supporting you again, especially once we are under another lockdown. Cooks are great. Owners are stuck up & greedy.

You are 1000000% better off going to get fast food. The service is awful, (30+ minutes to get a drink) and the food is sub par compared to all other locations. I love turtle jacks but this was by far the biggest disappointment I had to double check where I was.

Other then the expensive menu, the food and service were very good. I would definately recommend.

I visited on a busy Saturday evening. The wait for the food was long but that was understandable. When my main dish came, a waitress (not the host who sat me down and took my order) spilled my dish on the table while serving me (thankfully not on me) and didn't seem to know how to react. She disappeared from the scene immediately without an expression and subsequently reappeared, tossed two napkins onto the table, then disappeared again without wiping the mess, without an apology, and without even offering anything in return or checking in with me to see if I was alright (she spilled my main dish and prices at this place are above average; it wasn't like an insignificant french fry dropped on the table or something). The food was only average in taste and the ambience was not too bad but the service definitely needs a whole lot of improvement.

Staff were exceptional, very quick and friendly service. Food was amazing. If you are looking for a comfortable spot with great food, service and music look no further. Highly recommend.

Great dining experience! Food came out quick, was tasty, and our server was attentive. Had a laid-back sports bar feel. Definitely recommend this place.

First time trying Turtle Jack's and it was ok. I had high expectations and well food was great but services was not right. Upon entering 4 waitresses saw me and my family enter, we were ignored. I gave them a chance and one lovely lady took us in and she was fantastic.

After sitting down we were greeted by a waitress (This is the waitress I had issues with) and he was rushing a bit and forgot to take the rest of my family's orders for drinks. I like to give chances and they were busy so I let it slide and said the rest of the orders for drinks. After we had our meal, we waited 30+ mins for someone to check up on us to pay. Once the waiter came, we finally paid. I tipped the waiter because I like to support those during these times and well. He threw the receipt on the table and walked away. I was shocked, I respected him and he just made my time at this spot feel like regret. He never thanked us or said anything, shameful. And I tipped him for his service, I regret the tip but I wanted out.

Conclusion:

Good food and nice interior but service is hit or miss. For my first time at Turtle Jacks, I'm upset and will indefinitely go to other locations but this.

The food was amazing, we loved it. We had take out and the waiter suggested food that would transport well. All the right accouterments were in the bag. Great experience.

We frequent niagara monthly and didn't know they served breakfast! We found our breakfast spot.food was spot on, Service was amazing the wife and I both enjoyed our meal and service. Price was very reasonable. Our server Vanessa was very pleasant and outgoing would return for the service, but the food was just as good. Highly recommend.

My friend and I were in Niagara and looking for a place to eat dinner. My friend can't have gluten, so we were very excited that their online menu had "gluten free available" next to every burger. When we got to the restaurant, the menus we were handed did not have nearly as many gluten free options, which was extremely disappointing. Our server also told us that the burgers we ordered are not made in-house, and we suspect that the dessert was frozen. The prices were quite high for a place that is not making things fresh.

The seasonal cocktail menu was all summer-themed, which was strange on a cold day that my friend and I spent at the Niagara Christmas Market. We both wanted something autumnal or wintery, and ideally warm, but were met with the exact opposite. It just felt so odd that it was snowing outside, but the cocktails had names that included "beach" and "poolside". It almost made it seem as if they had forgotten to update the menus. Service was also very slow, it took 2 hours for us to have burgers and a dessert. Next time I'm in Niagara, I will be eating somewhere else.

Giving it 5 starts cause the food was honestly amazing. I lost my wallet there and Kimberly and the staff found it and shipped my wallet for me. There honest and there food 5 stars. Amazing staff

Great food and service. Our server was very busy with a big table but made sure to check on us. We did wait for a bit for our dinner but understandable for how busy the restaurant was. Definitely will be back

First time here and the food was amazing. We got the California chicken sandwich and the 4 cheese Cajun chicken penne and both were great. I looooved the Penne it was so good. Sandwich was delicious as well. Can't wait to try more menu items! Highly recommend a Turtle Jack's!

We vacationed from Long Island at the Marriott and ate 3xs at Turtle Jacks. Good food and drinks and especially Claudia who was our waitress every visit. She was very personable and all around fantastic. Recommend the Turtle and Claudia.

Had a lovely dinner, the food was great and the server was friendly. While the prices were high as is the case everywhere in Niagara, there was no extra “local tax”. The atmosphere was relaxed and clean and spacious. Food was very good and filling, the only note is the NY chicken was more of a Buffalo chicken with a bit of a spicy kick that was unexpected and not noted on the menu.

My Fiancée and I went for dinner here last night, and it was amazing!
They didn’t have something we had initially ordered, but all the staff was so accommodating and sweet to make sure we where able to get something great to eat despite our dietary restrictions. The Penne pasta was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend! The staff was also so kind! Will definitely be going back!

The BEST experience we have ever had at a restaurant! Our server Hannah and the owner were an absolute pleasure to deal with! Hannah went above and beyond to make sure our experience was top notch. We even got an amazing tattoo recommendation out of it, ha! Thank you so much guys, cheers!

I ordered from here online and called to confirm my order. They assured me I would get my meal in a half an hour 45 minutes pass by and they contacted me to cancel the order because they’ve just had a bunch of people come in the restaurant. They should have honoured the fact that I had been waiting 45 minutes and now everything else is closing. Screw this place we were spending $80 and won’t be trying here again

Had an amazing dinner! I occasionally go to Turtle Jacks in the GTA so I was hesitant to dine here as I wanted to try something new but I’m very glad this is where we ended up. The calamari was super crispy and the jalapeños were a great addition, Buffalo chicken fingers and French onion burger were also really fresh and the portions were huge. Best of all however was our service, Alex was the perfect balance of chill and attentive and we could hear other tables raving about his service too. I’d return just for the service alone, keep it up!

Over priced, food is slapped together, kitchen doesn't listen to special orders from server, lady (maybe mgr?) that helps bring out the food seems miserable and couldn't care less. Gave 2 stars because our server was really nice, our hostess was really nice, the parking was free for 2 hours and the system they have texts you when your table is ready. I would rather starve than eat here again. Sorry!

We went to Turtle Jacks while visiting Niagara Falls for a few days. There were 4 of us and we all thought are meals were excellent. I had the blackened Basa and if you like a bit of spice, try it. A big shout out to Claudia, our server. She helped a couple of us choose our meals when we couldn't decide. We were not disappointed! She took great care of us.

Delicious food (especially for a chain), unpretentious, and not a cash grab! No local area tax, no surprising $120 bill for a meal at niagara. The food was so good and fresh (got wings and veggies). Server was amazing (I'm sorry I don't know his name, light brown hair, scruff). I would skip the fancy steakhouses in the area that aren't worth the hype, and give these guys a try for one meal instead.

Just had the BEST dinner experience at Turtle Jacks in Niagara Falls. Claudia went above and beyond to accommodate our 4 year old with a custom plate and the owner Connie was a most gracious host. Highly recommended!

While staying in Niagara Falls, we decided to try Turtle Jack's for dinner. We were not disappointed. There was something on the menu for everyone in our family to try. The meals were all tasty and good. From our server to the manager, we were impressed by the excellent service.

Solid mid-range restaurant. Service was very friendly and upbeat, although a bit inattentive (during a very slow time). My wife had salad, enjoyed it very much. I had roast beef dip. It was overdone and very dry. I would give it a second try if we were back in Niagara Falls.

Best place ever we went for breakfast here and it was amazing we did orginally go across the street to i hop however we had to evacuate cause of the fire alarm so we went across the street here instead thank god we did because it was 10 times better.and the prices were so much more worht it

Service was great but the food lacks taste and flavour. The portions are huge i get we are close to the border and Americans may come here but why not show them how good Canadian food is and not just throw bread and meat on a plate calling it a meal. You can do better, i wouldn't come back after my last visit

Located just a few minutes walk from Fallsview casino. We went there when they first opened. Food and service was good. Great selection of menu options. Kid friendly. Prices reasonable considering location. Will visit again.
