But 13 bucks for not even a pint of Original (incl tip). Obscene pricing! Sorry, but that's disgusting. Really pricing yourselves out of the market and losing a lot of potential business. 800% profit markup. The good things here do not make up for the astronomical price gouging. Would have cost near 30 bucks for not even 2 pints! Management should be ashamed!

Had a very disappointing evening last night. The service took forever. I tried to enjoy a night out with my young son so I wouldn’t have to cook, and he became agitated from sitting and waiting so long. I had to leave my card with my in laws to pay my bill so I could get him home, I waited 15 minutes after she brought the bill and she still hadn’t returned with the machine.
If you’re looking to spend less than 2 hours in a restaurant, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

We dine here quite often and the food and service is always great. My only issue was our most recent visit and our server, who was lovely and very attentive was wearing very strong essential oils and I could only taste that throughout my meal. We will be back.

One of the best meals in a restaurant we have experienced in ages. All three meals were delicious and the service was excellent. Personable employees!

Great food! I got the tuna bowl (AMAZING) and my friend got the impossible burger with a side of loaded potatoes without bacon. Both great and huge portions! Service was super friendly and attentive. The butter tart was a little too sweet for me but I dont have a high sweet tolerance.

Came in yesterday with a group of almost 30ppl to celebrate a birthday and I had to review to let you know how GREAT the experience was. As a local resident (and frequenter of TJ’s Waterdown) we have always been a big fan of the location. But yesterday exceed all other experiences I’ve had you with you. The 2 servers in our section were attentive, prompt, friendly and well organized.constant table touches and refill offers kept the guest very happy! The food…… the kitchen KILLED it! As a life long chef, I wanted to give huge kudos to the BOH team. Everything came out in perfect fashion, perfect timing and perfect taste. All the guest raved about how good everything looked, tasted and how organized it all came out (again shout out to the FOH team for being so accurate with writing down and punching in the order)
I don’t give many reviews in general as i tried to not criticize or critique where I eat. But both the FOH and BOH teams deserve huge praise and shoutout for creating a memorable dining experience!
I’d give 10 stars if I could! It’s deserved

Had an amazing experience with Garry, the owner of this place! The moment we walked in, the atmosphere was nice, garry was pleasantly soft spoken and sweet. He made sure we had a great time, food & service.

Enjoying patio with live music (rare these days), we were rocking while munching, shout outs to Jordan and Jake who served us well on Wed half price wine with a bunch of confused women lol! Loved the vibe but so disappointed rain came and ruined the moment. I hope you have the duo back again so we can enjoy live music once again on patio WITHOUT the rain.

We had a big group of 12 in today and had Lily as our server. She was pleasant, and seemed to take her job seriously. She was on time with everything and made sure everything was good once we had our meals. The food was delicious with no complains from anyone at our table.
I haven't had great service and great food all in one in a while. Great job!

After camping for 4 nights and arriving here for lunch, I was so impressed with all the staff, from front desk to being shown our table, my friend had a dog which they even allowed on the patio. The customer service is on another level, as I live on the other side of Toronto I don't experience such good customer service so it was refreshing and renewed my hope in the service industry.
This was my 2nd time here, where I was able to try the patio which has a nice atmosphere.
The food is tasty, the gravy is delicious and the chicken strips look delicious too. I had the blackened chicken on naan, light and filling.

Although turtle jacks is expensive, it’s always amazing food and amazing service! Best restaurant in Waterdown by far!

Aug 4 '19 update. I attribute today's service hiccup to the fact that regular waiters were on holidays. The order was messed up, the guy didn't care too much. It wasn't busy at all.
Waited forever for napkins, second round of beverages. The shift manager was quick to come out, deliver right food and rectify the situation.

I guess it gets busier and better. Immaculate service and food, even on Monday night.

July 12,2023 update. The service was great. The food even better.

Went today for our friends birthday. The reason I am giving a 1 star review- The waitress was friendly and introduced us to the waitress in trainning, she was going to be helping with our order. We started off by asking for 6 glasses of water, when the trainning waitress returned she accidentally dumped the tray of ice water all down my back. I was completely soaked right down to my underwear. She was extremely apologetic and I get it mistakes happen/ accidents happen. I think I handled it well, I just went to the bathroom to clean myself up, I was a little chilly but no real harm. The reason for the one star is I would have thought the manager might have offered a discount, maybe comp a dessert, just a little something for the inconvenience of being completely soaked but nothing. When I was handed the bill to pay it was on the tip screen so overall I think it was handled pretty poorly. Like I said accidents happen it's how you handle them and in this case it was very poorly.

Chicken was great salad not fresh, but ok, excellent service, great place for meeting friends

It'd be great if they could add vegan options such as substituting chicken with a soy product or something else like other places do. It's a relatively easy way of opening your menu to a larger audience

I placed an order online with Skip, which turned out to be a mistake on my part as the driver never picked up the order. Skip kept telling me it was as delayed as the restaurant was busy. After waiting over an hour and a half (the drivers location on skip wasn’t even showing at the restaurant) I decided to give Turtle Jacks a call to get an ETA. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone who was absolutely amazing, he had explained the order was ready and waiting but no driver had shown up. He apologized for Skips actions and was extremely helpful and polite. He offered to remake the food as he understood that we probably hadn’t ate yet. The food was absolutely amazing, steak was cooked perfect along with the vegetables. To top it off they even gave a complimentary dessert even though it wasn’t their mistake. Absolutely top notch service and I am looking forward to dining in, in person. I love this location as they go above and beyond for my food allergy even though at other locations mushrooms seems to be added into the vegetable mix, Waterdown still gives me a ton of variety and not just carrots as a side.

Thank you Jordan for turning a bad experience with Skip into such a positive one.

It’s sad to watch this place go so downhill.

Had an awful experience here, we went for a date a couple days after Valentine’s Day, I ordered a steak, and asked for medium rare, but stated that rare would be fine as well. It came extremely well done, I’m not even sure how you could mess a steak up that bad. The waitress noticed but didn’t replace or comp it, and then asked if I wanted to get something else (paid). I said no it was fine and she comp’d a dessert, which was kind, however the whole experience was just kind of.bad.

Overall, service is fine, but the kitchen staff are awful. We won’t be back, for the prices you spend here it’s just not worth it.
