To start off; their service was very kind, their restaurant was very clean, and their food was freshly made. Was it good.no. I won't tell you it's not edible cuz it is, it's just not for me. I ordered their jerk chicken, and never in my life have I seen jerk chicken be served in such a way. To start it came with green/yellow beans and spinners (boiled dumpling), on the side.honestly wasn't sure what was going on there. It wasn't spicy, and wasn't made how jerk chicken is made, it was cooked and served like how you'd get stew chicken and it had this taste like the chef's favorite ingredient to use is oxtail seasoning (this ain't it). Their rice and PEAS, was also falling short of a few ingredients. The portions were reasonable and the price was fair. Thank you for the hospitality, but this isn't a place I'd recommend for authentic Jamaican food, this is more of a fusion food style to me.
Service and the people that work there are great. The food is not authentic jamacian, lacks taste and spices felt missing. They use different ingredients, and the food that is suppose to be spicy is not spicy at all lacks flavour. Would not recommend, if people are looking for great patties, I recommend patty express at Upper Canada Mall, those are great patties!
Always great food, freshly made in a homestyle way. I love this place. The Jerk Chicken Roti and Pattys are amazing. If you're in the area definitely stop by and treat yourself
We picked up some Pattie’s end of day and a goat roti. Goat roti was very salty (I recognize that tastes differ, just my opinion) and the roti was very doughy (more like a roti and pita cross). The Pattie’s were ok, filling on the patties could have used more flavour.
What a hidden gem in the industrial plaza! Amazing rotis, especially the amount of chicken in our Jerk Chicken Roti and Curry Chicken Roti was truly unbelievable. Not only rotis and dinners were delicious, but also how we were welcomed and served with smile and warmth.
