Twiggs Coffee Roasters

Dans le passé, ce restaurant était superbe. Mais récemment nous avons été déçu dans la qualité du service et de la limonade reçu. Il a fallu retourner au comptoir pour qu'il en prépare un second. Les tables d'extérieur n'étaient pas nettoyées. Il y avait de la vaisselle sale et de la nourriture sur plusieurs de celles-ci et les mouettes et atterrissaient pour y picoter.

Can arrive by car, foot, bike or boat. Beautiful Cafe style I side with a ton of barista style beverages and a lovely long shaded deck to overlook the marina.

Food and drinks are always spot on when you visit twiggs. Usually get the raspberry yogurt smoothie and a pizza or Montreal smoked meat sandwich on a bagel which hits the spot.

Ordered pizza and it was ice cold and burnt. Ordered 2 poutines and instead of calling to say they are out of gravey they just didn't bother sending the poutine. Horrible service

Good food/drinks but service is extremely slow. Waited 15-20 minutes for iced drinks, with minimal labor involved. This seems to be a trend at each Twiggs location, better management is needed.

This is worth looking for if you are passing through on Hwy 17. It is off the highway but when you get there, you will go "Aha! This has potential. " It is on the water in a sheltered part of the lake with a nice lake-side patio and accessible by water. We arrived in November so I look forward to passing through in the summer! It is exactly what I think other small lake-side towns with a surrounding wealth in cottage country needs. The atmosphere and service are perfectly fine and they offer great coffee and a good selection on the menu. We had lattes, a roast turkey sandwich (more mayo please) and a smoked meat sandwich. I think these could be better and I want to come back to sample other items. After one visit, food quality is the one opportunity for improvement. We shall return and update this review accordingly. It is literally the most promising food and coffee stop between Sudbury and Cobden!

Some of the tables were really close together and it was a little tricky navigating through - just in one area though the rest is great. The place is nice and cozy with delicious food!

Super disappointing today, only 2 other tables and waitress forgot our soups. Served cold eggs and toast, inedible. My lunch was cold too! Waited over 20 minutes just to get our order in, then another 25 minutes to get served. I requested a refund for the soups which took a long time. Complained and got an apology. We came from Sudbury as that is where my sister wanted to go for her birthday lunch, as Twiggs is her favorite in Sudbury. Nice view but next time will order elsewhere and sit there by public dock. 0 stars for sure

We returned to this lovely spot for a day trip lunch. This is a beautiful little spot along the Sturgeon river, location 5/5

I ordered 1/2 size greek salad and a hawaiin pizza with a cherry lemonade.

The salad was alright, nothing fancy, hardly any feta, a few chunks of cuke, a lot of black olives.
The pizza IMO was undercooked.when looking at the crust, only the very bottom was cooked, toppings were skimpy at best.
My lemonade, I dumped it out, it was terrible. There was half a lemon in it, I do not believe there was anything to sweeten it.
Hubby had a beakfast club with hashbrown. The club was good, the hashbrown were undercooked.
He ordered a raspberry ice tea which was ice tea with a few raspberries in it. He said it was tasteless and left it at the rest.

We were looking forward to returning to this lovely spot, but it will be tough to go back again.

I love coming to this Twiggs, nice to have a romantic walk with a loved one. Right on the Sturgeon River. They have had live bands playing in Twiggs before. Bring someone special, you will have a peaceful fun time.

If i could give this place zero stars I would. Ordered drinks for a group of 6 and waited over 30 mins…. Somehow other tables are getting their drinks. Do not recommend, worst customer service.

My sister warned me not to come here, and I didn't listen. The location is amazing, located at a marina with a beautiful view. However the service was absolutely terrible. It took 20 minutes for the four people behind the counter to make 3 drinks to go, with no other customers ahead of us or behind us. I've been served faster at sit-down restaurants. This was my first visit to any Twiggs, and it was not a good first impression. I should have listened to my sister.
