The hospitality is top notch. They treat you like family here. Food is exceptional. Portion sizes are massive. Definitely get more than what you pay for. 10/10 experience all around.
We went to this Thai restaurant for dinner last night. Overall, a very terrible experience in terms of service and food!
After 45 minutes of wait time, we finally managed to sit down and order food.
Staff - Rude and not bothered because they are busy on weekends. There was a guy with glasses who was especially initially talking very rudely!
Wrong food items were served and items we ordered were missing because staff did not pay attention while taking the order.
Food - Veg spring rolls were so oily and bad they had oil dripping.
Ordered basil eggplant with veggies and Jasmine rice. I specially requested twice to the server to ensure tofu should not be included! When the dish came it had Tofu in it and they forgot to bring jasmine rice for another 15 minutes!
To add to the disaster, the spicy chicken noodles ordered by husband were all sticking together!
On telling them I am a food blogger and it was a bad experience overall they gave us a 10% discount to compensate, but I would never go again!
Without a doubt the best place to get Thai food in Mississauga. I think it even rivals some of the more renowned Toronto restaurants, like Pai. It’s difficult to find a table for dine in on weekends because of how busy they get, but I find the quality of takeout to be really good as well!
This place is absolutely amazing! So much flavour in every bit of food served to you. Everything comes out hot and fresh, presentation is outstanding. From the moment you walk in the aroma takes you away. The food taste home cooked, comforting and upscale all at the same time. Anne and the staff are so friendly and strive to make your dining experience the best. Can’t wait to return!
Have been going to twin fish since over 8 years. Maybe 10. Amazing thai place right in the heart of Mississauga. Thankyou God.
The food is always delicious. My only issue was with the mango salad this past service, the mango was raw and not seasoned, which was weird because it's mango season. I still ate it lol. I have had curries and pad thais from here and they have been delicious, no complaints. They are generous with their portions and veggies. My friend is a believer in meat skewers with mango salad, gets it every single time this past 10 years or so.
The servers are so friendly and amazing at what they do. They don't rush and are always available for questions.
They recently renovated the space and it looks great. Very modern and very trendy actually. I took a pic.
Been going for years and never had a bad experience. Owners are nice and very personable. Food is delicious and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good Thai restaurant!
Never had good experiences with this restaurant but this is the only "reputable" Thai restaurant around my office and my colleague who I'm organizing the birthday lunch for wanted Thai so we decided to go with them.
First, I ordered through Uber and it shows I have 11 items on my receipt. When it arrived, only 9 items were on the hand written note by the restaurant. AND its not even correct what was in the bag.
One of the 4 Pad Thais were missing and a Thai Salad was missing.
Second, the Chef Cold Rolls we ordered tasted like dish soap. Yeah you have to keep your hands clean when working with food but you should make sure you rinse your hands properly and the utensils properly.
Tried calling the restaurant right after I got the delivery but no one picked up, and their voice mail is completely full.
Honestly, I personally will not be going to this restaurant again.
This is my favourite restaurant in Mississauga-not only is the service always fantastic (even for COVID takeout) but the food is to die for, especially the different Pad Thais, the Satay, Calamari, and my favourite -the Thai Golden Curry-this coconut curry is what I imagine they eat in heaven! I cried when COVID forced them to be closed for my bday-thanks guys for your consistency and high standard of quality and service!
We frequently order from both locations. Our go to is the basil snapper. It's battered and fried perfectly and the sauce is amazing. It also has a few jumbo shrimps in the gravy. When we got takeout occasionally, the restaurant has a good habit of packaging the fried fish and the sauce separately so as not to get soggy. If you're a heat fan, ask for their homemade hot sauce
These guys are amazing! Even through covid, they are doing an amazing job and are very helpful, definitely recommend giving them a visit. The Pad Thai is amazing
About a few weeks ago, I ordered from Twin Fish through Uber Eats, I have ordered multiple times from this restaurant because their Peenang Curry Chicken and Coconut rice is AMAZING. This time I wanted to treat myself and add a side of spring rolls. When my order arrived and I looked in the bag, there was no spring rolls in site.
I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager Joey who was very apologetic. We had a great conversation, I thought he would just replace my spring rolls, instead he went above and beyond and made a suggestion that the next time he's in the restaurant and I'm craving Thai again, I would be able to order spring rolls and an entree on the house! That really made my day! Not many people would do something like this, and I am thankful that we have such kind people like Joey around.
This place is tucked in a business/industrial/movie theatre plaza with 4-5 immediate competitors staggered around and provides a satisfactory experience if you’re looking for a quality Thai option. Pro tip for foodies, if you’re looking for hot soup takeout make sure you have a game plan when eating in your car.
We ordered a wide variety of dishes to try. My favourite dishes were the Vietnamese spring rolls and the pad thai. Both were very good. Pineapple fried rice was also good but was a little to spicy for my little ones.
