Everything was nice. I’m so glad for the customer service, neat and efficient vehicle, and it took me just one trip with the 10 ft truck. There was a lot of space and it was worth the purchase. The 10 ft truck is good for a single person or couple with a bed and maybe a little furniture.

I wish there was an option to tap to pay. I didn’t bring my physical card but luckily, my dad was there with his.

Ask for Sue for a free month if you need a locker. Water street location. Love these guys.

Was able to rent a 15' truck on short notice. Staff were friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The truck was clean and got the job done, zero issues. Highly recommend!

The (van) rental process was very efficient and everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. The vehicle was clean and had both AC and cruise control! I'd rent from Peterborough U-Haul again for sure!

Water At U-Haul is fantastic! Staff and Manager are awesome, have rented a truck and used their storage units in the past. Pick up and returning the truck wasn't very smoothly. The pre pick up information option is great!

Placed a reservation aprox 30 days before moving for ready uboxes and then called less than a week before to confirm. When I arrived I was told that the boxes have been missing for weeks. Terrible customer service, offered boxes as replacement but no discount or anything for inconvenience. They shrugged and gave a pathetic sorry you could tell meant nothing.

Great place, lots of indoor storage, and outdoor storage. All size vehicles, all size trailer's, trailer's and trucks cleaned on site.

Rent from literally any other location, this one is run by complete trash. They did not have a truck for me, even though it was a guaranteed reservation I had made a week before. Instead of finding another truck, they tried to tell me it was my problem and threatened to not honor my reservation at all.

Pick up of the equipment was quick especially when we didn't pre-register all the info. Lots of equipment on-site, thorough review of connection when hooking up the hitch.

Not a fan. Had to wait a week for it. Drove almost an hour to get there. I had a Visa debit card and offered cash. For the pickup rental it was not good enough. It had to be a major credit card only for pick up. Staff were nice. Very upset and let down.

Great service but do not use Uhaul's middle man 'Movinghelp' if you need movers.very difficult process. Find a moving company directly and deal with them or you never hear from them!

Went to get trailer fixed for my boat and was great experience after the trailer hitch was installed they even fixed my brake lights it’s a good place!

Bought moving boxes etc.from this location and must say that Jenna is one of the most accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly people that I have ever met in retail. They are lucky to have her. Great location to deal with.

Wish I could give this business a higher star rating because 5 is not high enough! What an amazing experience! Staff were wonderful, obliging, caring and compassionate! I cannot say enough good things about the high caliber of customer service my family received. The equipment was accessible, affordable, and accommodating! Triple A rating from this very thankful and humbled customer!

Do yourself a favor and go in to make your reservation. U Haul's online and or centralized booking is brutal. I booked a 20' van online and literally 1 minute later got a voicemail that they had exchanged for a 15' van and thank you very much. I called back and canceled but it was annoying. Next tried to call the store directly, which is apparently impossible. Gave up and went in on my lunch hour and had prompt service with a real person who was very helpful. Facility is very nice and clean and much bigger than it seems from the road. Minor issue in that there was no snow scraper in the truck so it was awkward to scrape the windshield with my health card! They were great, but honestly go into the store.

Extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of this well-kept facility. Staff were polite and helpful with renting a uhual and providing details as well as the whole transaction with my storage unit (bid13). Hate the alarm when you open the locker doors thou lol

Cancelled our truck rental on us and on one could tell me why. Luckily they had one available. Was told that this happens alot.

My local go to U-haul location for shipping and packaging materials. Also had my tow hitch installed at this location. For anyone looking for a hitch, I’d highly recommend giving them a call. Fast install service, done right and at a competitive price.

One employee was a little snarky and didn't let us speak our parts, the other one we dealt with was amazing!

Always nice polite people work here I have rented trailers and other rentals so many times never had an issue just wish people were more polite with the workers

Manager, Glen was very pleasant on the phone and advised of availability. Cody was fabulous to deal with in person. Unfortunately there was no mention of stairs to access storage locker until after transaction completed. I received a full refund and apology from Cody. It would have been nice for the manager to mention the stairs when I called about availability, as our items that we want to store are very heavy.

Easy process to rent and return trucks and trailers.
Staff are always eager to help and pleasant.

Pretty good place They still care about the poor people u can rent a u haul with Visa debit card but not pickup trucks really good security close to the police station you get what you pay high rate but worth it

Location is great with a river view and have parking facilities. Also experienced a great service from the employees working at this place and most important store have great precautions for covid-19 by standing in a queue maintaining 6 feet distance between each person standing in a queue as well as in store premises.

Moreover, the condition of the vehicle they provide is neat and clean with the gas available and while returning the vehicle the gas should be same as available at the time of pick up.

While returning vehicle I paid 12.7 CAD for 7.8 Litre which was less when I have returned the vehicle. But at the end of the day, we see the service and facilities and that was great. So, this is all about my experience about the U-Haul. Next time definitely I will contact U-Haul when in need and suggest my friend also.

Super efficient and friendly staff. It was one of the easiest rentals I've ever experienced from making the reservation right through the drop off. Very helpful at return. The young man must have known we were exhausted. Highly recommended

Ya everyone know that glen dee should not be the manger at this store I have had problems with glen dee for years now when he was at other locations can’t get a word in he thinks he know everything jack of all trades. I try to avoid him every time I have to go in there one day someone will she the light and let him go.

I can't say anything bad about the staff or store. Great security for storage, awesome and friendly staff. The location is hard to beat. I would always recommend people to this location.

Very well laid out and organized. Processing the rental was easy and returning after hours was simply done online. Location has lots of vehicles and staff were very helpful

The staff are personable and knowledgeable, the equipment is always in great shape, and the location is hard to beat. I've rented several different trailer types here, and the experience has always been enjoyable and dependable!

Been using this location off and on. Love it, but wait times still high need more staff at peek times needed month end.

I want to know why I couldn't rent a trailer for a whole a 24hrs like I have many time before from Peterborough location. Glen Dee the manager said no I won't rent it to you for no longer then 6 hrs. Because someone else Might need it because it's the end of the month. So I asked oh someone else rented it. He said no. I said then bud am a paying customer why can't I rent it. I've rented it before for like 3 days. What's going on. He hung up on me. So I called again next day. And got a lady who pick up phone. And told me she had no problem book that for me. I told her what happened she said yup that's our GM and he thinks he can pick and choose who gets trailers for how long and how this has happened before. And gave me his full name and said sorry for him. Like am in shock. So I got my girlfriend to call back and get the trailer. She got it no problem. I want to make a formal complaint about this person. I've heard stories about him from my neighbors but never thought it was true. I know now that me a Spanish man with a Spanish name can't get a trailer from Glen Dee GM at 900 Water St, Peterborough, ON K9H 3P3. But my white Girlfriend with a white name can. Am beyond mad and offended. I even tried to explain to him that I've rented this trailer for 3 days before. And he was like yea well not with me.my face was in shock.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Gave us an extra hour because we started an hour later because of the rain. Didnt even ask them. They just offered. What an excellent company.

It's eairly reminiscent of an ancient burial ground.
That being said,
I give it 10/10. Would utilize again.

I've rented from these guys quite a lot and they've always been super helpful. Recently there was an employee which wasn't the nicest, however, they were extremely busy so I'll chalk it up to that.

Clean, friendly, they have all the supplies required for your move right there. Quick in and out for truck returns.
